Break Downs and Aya's Gowns

Third Time's The Charm
“Gomen nasaii for cutting it so close.” Aki said as she ran in and already saw Jin and Rosa together talking in usual hushed voices. They looked far too much like a couple sometimes, Aki mused. Jin was always allowed to enter early because, well god knew why but Rosa and Jin had known each other for so long that Aki hadn’t even bothered asking why. It was said that Jin’s dad was the first one who started the whole phenomenon of having everyone attend hostess clubs and Rosa had lived with him for a long time before finally becoming a hostess and then all her customers varied from normal people like Keiichiro Koyama, Aki’d heard of him only recently, to Oguri Ryo, her most prominent young customer as the heir of Shueto. He was the one Aki wanted to meet the most and according to Rosa-san he’d be coming soon to the club. Ahhh Aki couldn’t wait. She’d been begging Rosa to let her be the accompanying hostess when the day finally came. After all a chance with a man like that! Everyone had heard of Oguri Ryo, and even his scandals here. Though his pictures were few and far between Aki had kind of been a fan girl she’d admit.

“Ah Aki-chan I’m just glad you could make it on time neh? If Shota’s making you stay later just let me talk with him. I can’t have people coming late to my own club! And you’re one of my most priceless hostesses.” Quite the opposite really, Aki barely made any money but slowly she’d gotten some customers more so recently too. After she and Hiro had started experiencing problems she’d found it easier to pretend to enjoy these men’s companies. They weren’t that great or influential as compared to Rosa’s customers but they were existent? She didn’t know how else to put it…and sometimes they really did crack some funny jokes! She could tell they were funny when she actually burst out in a snort or two ungracefully.

But she almost always said sorry afterwards and ended up adding that they were so hilarious it spilled out of before she could restrain herself.

“Domo arigato Kato-sama for the kind words. Demo I’m really very sorry for being so late and it’s almost opening time as well. Is my hair okay?” She asked faintly pushing her head to the side to get a look at the mirror that was behind them.

“Hai hai. Please just do the best you can today. Oh that reminds me we’re receiving very important people today. Oguri-san’s younger sister is going to be here with a man because she wants to talk to him in private where she can’t be seen.” More like Aya was worried about the man blowing up at her in a restaurant or something, a hostess club’s private rooms were much more useful for situations like this. “So we won’t really need to hostess them but just keep an eye on their drinks in the room over there and refill them whenever they’re empty neh Aki-chan?” Rosa said and Aki nodded after all. In this game she was just a puppet for now. She’d get out of the hostess-ing industry soon enough, she wasn’t looking at it as a career like Rosa had when she’d started.

Still you had to admit it was good money and hella fun.
“Oh you look pretty today Aki.” Jin said finally noticing her as Rosa leaned into his back and he wrapped his arms over her shoulders. Once upon a time Aki could clearly remember asking her about it and Rosa had said that Jin would be the only customer that was allowed to do so. It wasn’t special preference but it was.

That was the worst answer Aki had ever gotten in her life. She’d been ready to tell of Rosa too that no wonder she dropped out of school and started hostessing. She’d probably gotten an F on all her papers! “Arigato Akanishi-sama. Is Kamenashi-sama coming today?” Sometimes Kame would drop by their club, he was Jin’s best friend and thus was one of the few customers she had. Whenever Jin wanted privacy with Rosa and himself he’d tell Kame to go find himself another hostess.

And for some reason Kame would always pick her. The first time it had probably been because of the fact that Rosa had pointed her out and gave him a look which had forced him to take her over some other girl like Natsuki the highest earning hostess after Rosa herself when she decided to work in the club that she did every now and then.

But now he’d taken a regular liking to her and she found herself enjoying his talks of motorbikes and how girls really were the causes of everything. She enjoyed arguing with him which somehow she’d mastered the art of doing so in a polite and ladylike manner with him. He was so much better than that stupid Hiro but of course pillow business was so prohibited that he wasn’t even worth looking at in that way.

Still Kame had some hella hot bone structure. She suggested that he try out for Johnny’s agency once before and he’d told her he’d hate to be the victim of ia and he shut her up.

“Nah he had something to do again. Lately he’s been really busy but then again he’s been ignoring me all day since I made Aya pop up on him so maybe I’m wrong.” Jin looked rather peeved off at the mention of Kame’s name actually. Aki bowed her head and nodded.

“I understand. Maybe he’s preparing for some race again. If so please tell him that I wish him the best of luck.” Aki said bowing her head slowly and Jin ran his fingers through his own hair and nodded kind of awkwardly back as he looked down at Rosa as if asking her what he was supposed to ask Aki after this. He could only talk to the hostesses when he was trying to help them do their job. Otherwise he was useless with all of them, which was shocking seeing as they’d all ended up walking in on him with some girl in the lobby before. Rosa leant over and whispered something to him and Jin nodded.

“Yeah yeah. I don’t mind if you go talk to Aya for a bit. That girl’s a freak. Seriously the whole ride to Kame’s she was going to she was crying on my back. It felt kind of weird.”

“Oh…Jin this is the first time you’ve ever felt weird when a girl’s cried on your back.” Rosa said a slightly incredulous and shocked look on her face. She mocked him as a small smile came up on her face. “Could it be love?”

Jin scoffed and shook his head this time leaning over to ruffle up Rosa’s hairdo in revenge but Rosa ducked out in time. “Not really. Anyways I just don’t want to see her again. Half way to that guy’s school she made me turn around and head to the hotel. You know how much I yelled at her that I wasn’t her chauffeur.”

“Aya-chan was probably just nervous. The guy she’s bringing in today is probably him so- let’s see how that goes neh?”
“Oh please don’t talk to me like that.” Jin made a face and Aki laughed as she moved away. She’d always felt intrusive between the two even though it was necessary that two hostesses be with each customer to make him feel more and more loved. Jin had always requested only one. Rosa who almost always never made him sit down and talked with him but rather he’d become like a papa-san.

She sat down in front of the bar and rejected the drink the bartender offered her. She didn’t need to fill up just yet. She’d have to save up her alcohol tolerance. As it was she was horrible at it and many a time she’d found herself yakking in the washrooms and then freshening up only to find herself drinking yet again.

About fifteen very bored minutes later Rosa came up to her and placed a hand on her shoulder in only the caring sweet way a mama-san could when she realized you had a customer.

“Aki-chan…you have a customer.” Rosa said Jin not far behind her and Aki looked at her wide-eyed. That was quick. Who was it this time? It really couldn’t be Kamenashi-kun and her other customers were busy this week or so they’d told her.
She followed Rosa to the ebony booth and bowed low and peeked up to look at her customer who could only be new to her. Her eyes widened in recognition as she felt Jin pulled her head back up with a small baka uttered underneath his breath.

“Aki,” The man said his wide eyes far too open underneath his usual shading bangs for Aki to like.

What the absolute was this thinking showing up here? Especially after ignoring her presence for the past few days.

“Hiro,” She said softly yet. She couldn’t bring herself to do this to Rosa-san. She couldn’t burst out in anger in front of Rosa or Jin or the other customers that would inevitably be affected by her if she did.

“So how are you?” He asked somewhat scared. He knew she was just itching to yell at him and scratch his eyeballs like she usually would but Aki was professional, or at least she tried to be.

He gulped, he should have never given her a reason to be angry at him. She was like a wild beast unable to be tamed. Though he’d come here for something else. He couldn’t believe he hadn’t realized it before. Shun was really a lifesaver in some ways.

“Why are you here?” Aki questioned letting only the slightest bit of fury pass through her voice so as to signify he was not at all welcome with his sudden appearance. Rosa looked at her with a disapproving look which Aki kindly ignored knowing that Hiro was not here as a customer.

Therefore she had no reason to be polite and charming towards him.

“I just thought I’d come see how you were doing?” He tried to lie unable to speak of the real reason he came while the woman stood in front of him. He’d talk to Aki alone thank you very much child labourer.

“We saw each other today morning…in school, in class. You could have talked to me then couldn’t you?” Aki rolled her eyes as she sat down letting herself softly glide onto the leather seats so that she barely made a movement that would interrupt the comfort of any customer. Hiro shook his head, when had she ever been anything but brash and rude? This new graceful-ness was irking him. Hiro and her hadn’t really broken up officially yet but he’d stopped calling her. It seemed he was going for the more silent way of breaking up with someone so Aki hadn’t really bothered him.

But then what the hell was all this about?

“Aki…It’s just- something kind of dawned on me. Something I didn’t really want happening. So I came down here” He said looking down at his feet and then he looked back up seriously as Rosa gave the two of them a confused look. Aki sighed quietly and nodded signifying that she was okay with being alone with Hiro.

“He’s leaving shortly. Trust me. We’re not together anymore.” She explained to her mama-san who beamed brightly. Finally Aki would be able to utilize her potential!

“We aren’t?” Hiro asked a little confused. He’d thought they were still together but according to Aki a lot had changed. She looked at him with those somewhat discerning eyes of hers and Hiro found himself slightly gulping. He remembered now why he never came to visit her while she worked and only found himself making out with her on a couch in some club much after.

It was because she was damn scary when she was working. The difference between the Aki’s he knew were phenomenal. Too much almost. He’d always hated seeing this fake version of her. He much rather preferred the loud boisterous one.

“No we aren’t. You’ve stopped calling me. You haven’t even looked at me in school recently. On top of all that boyfriend like stuff boyfriends usually do I saw you kissing a girl under the trees near our school after school on Wednesday? I say that does qualify as a break up does it not Mizushima-kun?” Aki asked sweetly resisting the urge to punch his face so that it had a huge dent in it. Rosa gave a small laugh as she bowed slowly and moved on but as she started moving away she glanced back doubtfully for just a second and was glad she did. She saw that look in Hiro’s eyes, the look that Shota often had when he was confronting her about something, pleading with her to quit the business or something of the like. She paused and took a step back and laid a hand on Aki’s shoulder.

Aki turned around shocked. Rosa was still here? Ahh she couldn’t act normally around Hiro if Rosa was here the whole time! “Aki-chan I trust your judgment. Please remember you are one of our most valuable hostesses.” Yeah god knows why though Aki added in her head turning around with a bright smile on her face and nodding. For some reason Rosa had always taken a shine to her.

“You have potential. Please…don’t do anything stupid.” Rosa said at Aki but she didn’t bother looking at her at all. Aki raised an eyebrow as she looked towards Hiro who was staring back at Rosa. Rosa conveyed through her eyes a small warning gaze at Hiro to mind his words here even though she was smiling. Hiro looked back at her with the same look on his face and Rosa bowed slightly and walked away back towards Jin who was speaking to Natsuki who was resting her head on the counters.

“You’re talking an awful lot today.” Aki relaxed, looking at the Hiro in front of her who looked out of place. In a suit, as was customary in most Hostess Clubs to look professional or they didn’t let you in, nervous as ever and with a blabbermouth as an accessory.

“I realized something. Aki…quit this job.” He said suddenly and Aki felt her jaw drop and smack against the table quite literally.

“Are you kidding me? This job helps me pay my bills dumb . I know I’m a bad host- I know I am not the most satisfactory hostess here but I believe that I can do a very good job here if I just try my best.” She tried to support her argument. Ten minutes in a meeting with her and he’d already decided she was a bad hostess?

“What the are you blabbing on about?” Hiro said confused at her language.

“I’m a hostess that’s why I speak like this. What’s your excuse for seeming so out of it huh?” She said leaning back into her chair gracefully and crossing her legs underneath her dress.

“Look Aki…they’re going to make you…you know. It didn’t occur to me really until I was talking to Shun tonight. He was free and-“

“You spoke to that ’s boyfriend?” Aki couldn’t help but break when it came to Mao. She was still really pissed of and she doubted she’d be able to forgive Mao. It was just too hard for Aki to forgive people who pissed her off like that.

Plus Mao was two timing on Ikuta Toma Aki’s absolute favourite actor which just gave her another reason to hate on her.

“Yeah we’ve actually kind of become friends.” Hiro said a faint smile on his face. Aki looked at him with a disgusted look on her face. She’d never been able to put a smile on Hiro’s face. Not one like that anyways. Who the hell was this Shun jerk to be able to do that anyways? It wasn’t her business but it seemed far too suspicious. Maybe Mao was working through him to get her to forgive her.

Like hell that was happening!

“Hiro,” Aki said calming down after counting to ten inside her head. “You don’t really have friends. Don’t know if this has come to your mind or your attention but neither of us really has friends.”

“That’s where you’re wrong Aki. You do. You have Mao. You just refuse to forgive her for something-“ Oh so now she was the one who was in the wrong?

“Shut up. It doesn’t matter anyways Hiro. I’ll do what you were insinuating earlier if it’s necessary to advance my career. It’s not like it’s a big deal. You knew about this before didn’t you? I told you. They didn’t really let me before cause they knew you a future senator would get pissed off but now it’s all good.” She said grinning at the thought of pissing Hiro off. She should have given it up a long time ago like Natsuki did. They’d both entered at around the same time but Natsuki had long given it up and prospered because of it while Aki barely earned the mininum.

“You’ll have with a random stranger but not your boyfriend?” Hiro had always gotten pissed off with Aki denying him. Still he’d dealt with it because- well actually he didn’t know why the he dealt with it or why the he was even here.

“Actually I’m thinking it’ll be better this way.” Aki said turning around and grinning widely at him and Hiro looked at her in a solemn manner. Was she actually saying this? Yes his girlfriend was an absolute nutcase with no hope.
“You know what. I don’t know why I worried. No one would want you anyways.” Hiro bit back standing up suddenly and Aki looked sideways as she saw some of the hostesses and customers turn to look at her and she pulled Hiro back down beside her.

“What do you know Hiro? I have lots of customers.” Lie “and they all come back to me every time.” Lie…one time Kamenashi-kun had gone to Natsuki-chan. “and they probably want me too!” Maybe the old ert she really hated.
“Aki. Do you seriously want to be used like that? You disgust me.” Hiro said quite honestly feeling the bile rise up in his throat. He couldn’t have seriously liked a girl like this.

“Eh…why not?” She said grinning widely and ready to start speaking to her exboyfriend again but Rosa came up behind her and tapped her on the shoulder.

“Mizushima-san. Please excuse Aki for a moment or two. Her regular has arrived.” Bowing Rosa quickly walked off towards the door and Aki bowed and waved away. This was like icing on the cake.

Hiro exhaled a soft and barely audible sigh and watched Aki walk towards her customer and guide him to a seat which was incidentally diagonal to his booth.

“Kamenashi-kun. Akanishi-sama told me you weren’t coming today.” He could hear her words through the garbled voices of the other hostesses and customers. He heard the man’s laughter. There was nothing funny about that. Why the was that brat laughing? He couldn’t be much older than Aki herself. How the hell was he able to afford being a regular here with Aki?

“Yeah what does that idiot know? I really shouldn’t have come today really but I couldn’t help but want to ask you something.” He said softly a worried look, as he looked sideways before turning back to Aki who was still looking at him attentively. Hiro scoffed, she was probably itching to get back to him.

“You know you can ask me anything at any time. I will try my best to be completely honest and yet try and give you answer you both want and an answer which will help you.” He heard Aki reply kindly, since when did that girl do ANYTHING kindly? She was such a faker. It wasn’t right to fake yourself at a job either was it?

“You’re good at stuff like this. I came here last time I wanted to ask you about Erika too. She’s just so damn weird you know.” He uttered finally and Aki felt a smile come on her face.

“I also know you aren’t quite normal yourself Kamenashi-sama. You know it’s best you try and accept her for how she is. I don’t think her personality’s changing anytime soon.” Aki said pouring out a glass of his regular wine. It had always seemed rather odd to her that this leather jacket wearing, ripped jeans type of guy with one of the fastest bikes in Tokyo drunk wine. It hadn’t seemed right for some reason. She’d imagined him to be a more beer or vodka type of guy. But then again Kamenashi-kun was brought up with those rich ideals even if he didn’t display them like Akanishi-sama did. Akanishi-sama was always wearing a top class suit. Always looking absolutely perfect that some people almost thought he was the singular host in the hostess club.

Hiro tuned out. Great she was an advice giver. He really didn’t need to bother waiting for her to come back. He’d said his bit and she’d said hers. He was just worried about her.

He gulped slowly. He didn’t want to be worried about a girl who wasn’t worried about herself. He just- he didn’t want her to see her lose her stupid damn smile again. This time he wouldn’t come back and baby her to ends to help her gain it back either!

“So let’s talk about Erika. What’s the problem this time?” Aki questioned.

Kame huffed as he leaned back into the leather seat sitting in one of the most outrageous positions Aki had ever seen anyone sit in. Then again Kamenashi-kun was allowed to do whatever he wanted here. Being a friend of Akanishi-sama helped with that. “I saw her being lifted up by another guy. It was really odd you see…cause I felt jealous. But not enough to go rip them apart. More wine?” Kame asked as he swigged back the glass with as much charm as possible. It was a feat Aki had to admit. Kame himself didn’t know how Erika had even agreed to being lifted up by someone. She’d probably fallen asleep somewhere again and a kind soul had taken pity on her.

Kind of like he had not too long ago. He couldn’t help but wish that he’d found her first. It was just by luck he’d ended up seeing her too when he’d been coming out of another girl’s room.

“Of course. Sorry for my mistake.” She said as she listened attentively pouring out some more wine for him. “So you’re questioning whether you should go talk to her about your feelings?”

“Of course not. I don’t have feelings for her.” Kame laughed at the mere idea of it but Aki looked confused as she filled up her own glass and drank some. This would empty the bottle sooner and get Kamenashi-kun to buy another one.

More sales for herrr!

She turned around for a moment to keep a glance on the booth where Hiro was probably tapping his fingers impatiently, like he often did, and found he was gone.

She bit her lip unable to stop the feeling of disappointment from arising in her. She didn’t know why but she wished he didn’t leave. She wished he was still there, but they’d long decided that this was a temporary thing and he’d declared it’s end already. This was a random meeting out of the blue. It hadn’t meant anything.

So his leaving shouldn’t have irked her or made her feel much really but it did. She wanted to run and catch him and argue with him some more and fight selfishly.

She turned back around grinning at Kame’s beautiful face. She’d settle for helping Kame out with his problems for now.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jun dashed into the building dressed up as himself for the first time in…well two days. He glanced in the mirror and found himself shocked at the image it returned. Yes he was a guy again. For some reason he was quite sure he would never think of himself like this the same way again. It would always shock him to look at the image in front of him for quite a while, he was far too used to his girl persona.

“Jun. You’re here already.” He heard someone say behind him and turned around to see Aya dressed up in an orange Versace dress that he’d heard Megumi gushing about for ages. “Wow… I don’t think I’ve ever seen you show up on time for anything.”

Only the best would do for the Ueto daughter. Whether it’s a choice between himself and Ryo or Versace and Micheal Kors for an evening out.

“You look nice. The dress goes with your hair.” He said as he examined her straight hair falling on the orange. Her wrist adorned with a chunky gold bracelet. Yes…this was the Aya he remembered. The one he hated that was.

“Talk about getting into role good sir?” She teased grinning widely.

“Right back at you.” Jun bit back. He couldn’t help but be pissed with her. First she came back like this, with their friends, and then she latched onto Ryo the moment he got mad with her.

But he was kind of glad that this time she had been the one who’d made the first move by calling him out when they were fighting.

“Shall we go upstairs then? We won’t stay for long. If you don’t want to. I kind of want to have dinner with you properly anyways.” Jun scoffed. She wanted to have dinner with him? Why did it sound so different from the way it would if the Aya he’d always known would say it.

“Isn’t it going to be yo wanna go grab a bite with the best shizzle in New York?” He snapped and moved his body in the way he’d been expecting Aya would but she just grinned softly and shook her head.

“Nah not really anymore.” Aya tucked a piece of her hair behind her ears and started walking towards him. Jun gulped slowly and nodded, unsure of why all of the sudden this felt more like a date instead of a dinner where Aya pleaded for his forgiveness.

It was they way she looked tonight. That was the reason his heart was speeding up and falling back into its old pattern of falling at Aya’s knees. That and the fact that he was kiss deprived.

“Where are we heading exactly?” Shaking himself out of it he said, calm and composed.

“Dancing Petals. It’s the most popular host club in Ginza right now. The mama-san hires very selectively and trains them in hostessing before they go out and well…entertain I guess. That’s the reason they haven’t lost their customers yet. They usually tend to hire talented hostesses who would have careers outside hostessing but I know of a couple who are just really good hostesses and work there.” Aya said shaking her head as she flipped open her phone.

“Jin…is it all ready? Hai arigato.” Aya said into the phone and Jun grumbled somewhat without reason. Who the hell was this stupid Jin character? Why was it that whenever he was with Aya he felt like he wasn’t enough of something? Like with this new player Jin he could already tell there wasn’t enough of an “I” in his own name. It was always going to be like that though. Aya was far too wonderful a person to have anyone actually match up to her. For a while when she’d stop being this perfection that was in front of him he’d hoped that she would adjust to his level.

Just looking at her gold Dolce and Gabanna phone he knew it was impossible for her to ever even think of someone of his stature seriously. He was trying hard though wasn’t he? To inherit a company which wasn’t all that big. He scoffed at the sudden realization of something.

He was always complaining how Mao didn’t deserve him.
It was ironic seeing as how in the eyes of the society in New York, and perhaps in Aya’s own, he didn’t deserve Aya. He started laughing suddenly and Aya turned to him looking fearful.

“Nani ga?” She hated it when Jun laughed like that. He was usually bitter when that sound emitted from his throat.
“Betsuni.” Jun said staring at Aya who took the chance to start speaking to him normally.

“Jun…I just want to say-“

“Save it for later neh?” He said interrupting her. He wasn’t letting Aya go back to the way they were before so easily, especially as she’d already hurt him enough. Today he’d become above her. For some reason he felt like this was the key to stop his beating heart.

Perhaps this would be the last straw to end their friendship. He had never really been a friend to her with the intention of only being friends with her. It wasn’t like he was ever a good friend to her anyways. He was always far too infatuated with her to look at her properly or far too pissed off at her RyoRyo! behaviour.

It for Aya though, stuck with someone like him. Who just couldn’t look at her normally, who couldn’t even be honest about his intentions half the time? Someone who actually had a bit of a self esteem problem.

“Jun. Will you just hear me out?” He heard Aya say looking towards the elevator for about a second before turning to look at his staring eyes. She was so darn pretty too…how could he not keep falling back in obsession with this girl? Her ever-changing personality, and her beautiful looks and her absolutely crazy driving skills.

Ah yes this whole get over Aya thing was going nowhere tonight. Then again perhaps he’d already anticipated this. Jun wasn’t dumb, he knew the reason he hated Aya like this was because it reminded him of how much he wouldn’t be with her. He just couldn’t get past her.

“What’s the point of that? I’ll forgive you as usual. You know that. I know that. This will become just another one of those fights where my voice is drowned out by your nee-“ He started turning away

“Obviously you haven’t forgiven me!” Aya yelled suddenly and Jun stopped and turned back around and furrowing his eyebrows before scoffing and laughing loudly.

“Are you mad? What do you think I have been trying to do the past couple of hours Aya? You think I like being mad at you? But I just find myself wondering. Is there any point to forgiving you as a friend?

“Why did you get mad and bang the door in our faces? I always told you that Ryo would come back for me one day. That was all that happened yesterday. He came back. I can’t help that…I lo-

“Shut the up Aya. You are so selfish. Did you even hear what I just said right now? Besides we all know that Ryo doesn’t really love you and he never will. He loves the idea of this perfect little girl he can control. You’ve given him that power fawning after him since you were ing nine. This whole thing probably started as a bet to see how far he’d get with y-“ Slap. Jun felt the sting on his cheek and started laughing again as he stared down at the tearing Aya’s eyes. Yes…there was the Aya he loved so much. He loved making her unhappy. He loved seeing the tears pool in her eyes and most of all he loved her cheek right after the tears pooled in her eyes.

He was such a sadist.

“What is wrong with you? Jun what are you-“Aya felt him come up closer than he’d ever been to her face. So close that she stopped breathing and her eyes widened in a scared manner as if a knife had almost attacked her. She stared into his hurt eyes, the knife twisted into her heart. Slowly he backed her up into the corner where the gold design of the elevator and the glass window of the elevator met. She felt bare and exposed, everyone could see this and yet it was probably the most private form of public expression. Jun…Jun please don’t she willed in her head. It really wasn’t worth it…if only he could see that.

“Aya…it’s hard…it’s so hard behind friends with you.” He admitted weakly. Get it out Jun, he willed in his head. This was the only time she’d listen to him properly and probably the only time he’d be able to speak freely. Being a girl had taught him that much at least. Spill out your emotions because if you don’t they’ll eat away at you.

He grabbed her shoulders roughly and Aya couldn’t help the yelp of pain that shot out of at the sensation of pain on her shoulder. She looked at his slumped figure. His back hunched in defeat and pain. She wished she could let him kiss her. But there was nothing there waiting for him. There would be no response, she wouldn’t even try to look out for something in him...because she’d already given all of herself to the one man she loved. Oguri Ryo.

As his head pulled up from it’s defeated pose she started hitting Jun’s chest to try and push him off her but to no avail. His left hand just slid up to her neck holding it in place as he tilted it and brought his lips as close as they could possible be without actually kissing her. She felt his right hand glide up her thigh and reach her waist and felt his fingers dig into the silky material of the Versace and pull her closer to him. His leg moved around her leg locking her into place with nowhere to run.

She didn’t want to either. She didn’t want to run away from Jun, he was her Jun. He wouldn’t hurt her ever.

She would make him see reason. He didn’t want to do this to her either. Jun deserved more than a forced touch.

“The door will open soon Jun stop it.” She reasoned stalling what she thought he was going to start doing for a couple of seconds. For a brief second she felt the warmth from his body disappear from her side and saw that he’d raced and pulled the emergency stop button so that they stopped moving upwards. Aya looked up at him with her bored eyes and he pulled the button that would stop the elevator and came back to her with conflicted eyes.

It had been bound to happen one day. She knew he wasn’t over her yet, that was the reason he was always so bitter anytime she mentioned Ryo.

“Do you really want to do this?” Aya said softly looking down at his legs that were making their way around hers again. Damn now she wished she hadn’t encouraged him to start making out with girls last year. She’d partially been the reason he’d become so cocky and arrogant and ist. The grip was far more looser than it had been before though. “If you do it we won’t be able to go back to the way we were. Ever. I promise you I will never look at you the same way.”
“That’s exactly what I want Aya. I want you to never look at me the same way.” He said smiling slowly and Aya laughed loudly in his face as she relaxed back against the elevator. Nothing was going to happen, she could already tell. Jun didn’t have the guts to do it.

She was thankful for it.

“I lied. I’d look at you the exact same way. Because if I looked at you any differently it would mean I actually cared somewhat about what happened. The thought of you kissing me…makes me want to puke.” She admitted the truth and Jun smiled widely.

“Is it that horrible to kiss me that you feel the need to vomit?” He spoke sweetly but Aya could see the pain he felt with her low blow in his eyes. It was true, it would be like kissing Serena or Blair. It would feel wrong and awkward to her. Like it was never meant to be. It had to be said in harsh words because Jun didn’t deserve sugar coating. He deserved to know the truth, and he deserved to move on.
Aya would help him do it even if it wrecked his friendship with her.

Jun banged his arms on either side of her and Aya’s eyes started watering as she stared up at Jun’s face.

“You had enough?” Aya said looking at him touching his cheek and brushing his hair off his forehead. She finally pushed him off her with as much force as possible. He landed on the glass side of the elevator with a loud bang.

Aya reached forward as his body made a sickening sound at coming in contact with the fragile surface.

“Enough.” Jun decided leaning back against the glass elevator, like he was ready to fall out of her life. It was imagery for the loss of him perhaps. He could fall to his death. That was the image she got staring at the haughty man as he smirked at her and leant back welcomingly to the weak surface that barely held his death back.

“I…I hadn’t changed Jun. Truthfully? I hadn’t changed. You know it. I know it. So I thought what was the point of pretending to be strong anymore? What was the point? There is no point. I might as well just return to who I am. No man can climb out beyond the limitations of his own character by John Morley That’s what I’m doing Jun. I’m growing up. I’m accepting myself before I move onto the next stage of adulthood.”

“Marrying Ryo and having babies? That’s your next stage isn’t it?”

“So what if it is? What’s so bad about it? Ryo loves me Jun! Ryo loves me!”

“What about me? Didn’t I love you?” Jun said suddenly and Aya immediately got flustered as she looked at any surface, which was very limited, that didn’t hold any part of his body. She was a little ashamed that she was behaving like this but she’d never been able to answer his feelings properly.

Rather she'd never been able to properly reject him.

“Well I-“ Her stuttering and fumbling was enough of an answer for Jun though. He lifted his gaze in a manner that shut her up immediately.

“Don’t flatter yourself.” He said suddenly leaning over her. He pulled the button that had stopped the elevator and it started moving again. Except this time it didn’t feel as relieving to have it move. It came to a stop fairly quickly and Aya felt Jun push her aside and walk out of the elevator doors as it opened.

“So we’re at a hostess club are we? Let me mingle a bit shall I? Who’s the best hostess here?” Jun asked suddenly and Aya looked at him confused.

“Well…I want to be with someone who really isn’t you right now Aya. Cause all you do is make me feel horrible about myself and while I may sound a bit like a girl right now I really don’t want that.” Jun said and started walking away from her fast but Aya immediately reached over and grabbed his arm and pulled him back.

“Jun. I don’t want to let you go. You’re the best friend I’ve ever had.”

“I’m sorry Aya but I can’t be that generous. At least not for a while. Maybe we might be able to get back to what we were one day but it definitely won’t be today. Go be with Ryo. Figure out he’s a complete then come talk to me all right?”

“He’s not Jun. He really loves me. He’s going to stay, I’m going to stay. The sooner you accept it we can all be happy like-

“Like the brady bunch? We don’t live in a world like that Aya. That’s the problem with being rich. The drama just automatically happens. You may not want it to but it does. Now tell me…who is the best damn hostess in this club!”

“That would be Natsuki-chan. Who is completely free today! Imagine your luck.” A deeper voice than Aya’s said and Aya turned to look at the new person in their conversation.

“Ohayo Matsumoto-chan! How’s Mao today?” Jin said grinning the widest smile possible as he looked on at Jun whose face immediately ran free of blood. Jun stared at the calm and composed Akanishi Jin with envy. If only he could look like that right now but he couldn’t…he’d been discovered.

FINALLYYYY JIN-KUN get's his main plot started =D That was the only reason I really loved this chapter. I'm sorry if it got a bit boring. T.T I really couldn't write the JunAya scene well because it felt so wrong the whole time I was writing it. I hate making them fight.

I have to make them make up soon.

Aya's outfit: http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f164/Lillith_Evans/092720072152452108.jpg

Hope it wasn't too bad and thank you to all my commenters: yulyachen13, xxing, Ichigokut3, Calliope, killafragilistic, Christine.

Comments are always welcome!! Ohh and Natsuki is the girl from Hana Yori Dango the one who plays Shigeru?

I always thought she and Jun looked really cute together =D

Previews for the next chapter:

“Matsumoto Jun. This is Kato Natsuki. Natsuki-chan this is Jun-sama.”

“Superior intelligences? Please spare me the details of how you guys are so much different than .”

“A Dom Perini for Matsumoto-san and I’ll have a glass of white wine. Arigato Nakamaru-san.”

“So tell me why my darling little boy came home so suddenly?”

“I wanted to let you meet your darling little daughter-in-law.”

Thanks for reading!!!
