It was the last act of the play she was playing in. She couldn't wait to leave the stage and meet him.

A sparkling intensity that rivaled the night sky, platinum with round brilliant and marquise diamonds. She's afraid to ask how much this cost him. It looked like someone a royalty would own.

"Wow." She was breathless at this expensive gift. "This is beautiful." She touched the diamonds sparkling in her eyes.

He was still kissing her hand as he said, "Not as beautiful as you, my love. But I thought of you instantly when I saw this piece at the auction in London."

She smiled as she kissed him on the lips. "I love it. Thank you."

He removed the necklace from the box and put it around her neck.
