“You saw him? How?” Kyuhyun asked, his eyes never looked away as he was waiting for Jungsoo's response. 

Jungsoo met up with his client and on his way back to his car, he saw a girl at the ice cream stall. 

“Money?” She asked, innocently and started checking his pocket.

He noticed that the girl was panicking so Jungsoo immediately came over and paid for the ice cream.

He didn't expect to see Heechul as well and based on what he heard, the girl was his daughter.

And that was the important information that Jungsoo didn't know. He didn't know that Heechul had a family.

“I met my client earlier and I didn't know he was there. It happened so fast. All I know is that he has a child and I talked to them.” Jungsoo replied while massaging the side of his head.

“Why do you look sad? I thought you would just apologize? If that's your intention, do it when you meet again.” Kyuhyun answered irritated and just shook his head.

Even Kyuhyun couldn't understand Jungsoo. Every time he asked him if he liked the guy, the answer was always 'we just had '

“I was just caught off guard. I'm not that sad, Kyu.” Jungsoo defended, he was frowning the whole time since he got home from their shared apartment.

“If you say so.” Kyuhyun said

Jungsoo stood up and went to his room. As soon as he got inside, he started looking for Heechul's files that he had.

He opened the brown envelope and read it again.

“Why is his daughter not included in his background? It is also not stated that he has a family.” He started, curiosity was already killing him.

He leaned on his swivel chair and stared at Heechul's photo in his hand.

“Amara?”

He bit his lip and slowly frowned.

“How old is your daughter?” 

There were many questions running through his mind and even he, himself was confused.

He reached for his phone and dialed a number.

“Yesung...”

“Why hyung?” 

“Can you check Heechul's latest background?” 

“Him again?” 

“Yes. I just want to know something.”

“Have you both met?”
