"So hindi naging kayo?" tanong niya yet again kay Joohyun. 

"Paulit-ulit mare? Hindi nga," Joohyun said, laughing.

But then Joohyun's face turned serious. 

"I just have a question, Jennie. And I want you to be honest with me."

Jennie nodded, prodding Joohyun to continue. 

"I edited the book about Proustian, pored over its pages numerous times, read it day and night, so I already know its storyline, its characters, like the back of my hand. I know how they think, what they feel."

Jennie didn't even blink or bat an eye.
