When she delved into the world of Proustian the baby bear, Joohyun did two things that would significantly change her life - one is when she went out of her way to make sure this book gets published, a deviation from her choice to abandon what she perceived as the  all too impractical ideals and world of literature and second is what she did on the night she and Seulgi talked about the latter's decision to stay in Italy. 

"Hyun, hindi na ko babalik diyan. I will study law here, something that wouldn't even be a possibility kung hindi ninyo kami tinulungan ng sobra ni Jennie. I will forever be grateful to the two of you." 

"But I know you'd only want to define what we really have, be in a relationship when I can get back there, kaya—"

"Seul. Mahal kita. I can be with you even if we're 10,000 miles apart. I know that now."

Seulgi was surprised - but what Joohyun said next surprised her more.

"But Seul, when I got to know you, I told myself one thing only - let me read you. And I did. Nabasa kita, ang lahat sa 'yo, through the book. Because I read you, however, I was able to re-read myself too," Joohyun said. 

"I was able to revisit chapters of my own book, my life, which I've thought I've already abandoned." 

Seulgi nodded, understanding what Joohyun meant. 

"Mahal kita. Kaya kong tumaya kahit malayo ka pa. Pero kailangan ko rin muna mahalin ang mga bahagi ng kung sino ako na nadidiskubre ko lang muli ngayon."
