Seulgi initially thought that they will only be left with but a week to be with her mom, but then something else happened - the university where her mom's attacker went to offered her a scholarship to any course she wants.

"Dahil tinuruan na ni 'My yung mga Pinoy dito about their rights ayun sa batas ng 'Pinas, gusto ko naman matutuhan mga batas dito for migrants para makatulong din magturo o magbahagi nito sa kanila," she said. 

The Italian government allowed her father to stay too as they processed their family reunification application so they can stay and finally live together, nang magkakasama, sa Italy.

While they can stay though, Jennie will have to go. And the decision not to leave Italy anymore means Seulgi will not be able to go back to Joohyun too.
