Momo's POV:

"So what you're implying here is that you will withdraw your shares in our company if we don't do well with our latest collection?" I asked trying to keep my face neutral while I was boiling inside

"Your previous collection was a flop and I see no reason to invest here if that happens to be the case again. I don't really care about the company I'm investing in. All I care for is how profitable an investment is for me. It's quite simple really. But, knowing that I did benefit from your other collections, I am willing to give you another chance" he replied with a raise of his eyebrow. I stopped myself from snapping at him and willed myself to smile.

"Thank you for your consideration sir, I assure you that this season's collection is much better. I have personally gone through it to make sure nothing was amiss" I said with the fake smile.

"I certainly hope so" he said clicking his tongue to show me that he was not the one who came to me but I was the one who approached him. I nodded as I stood up and bowed before going out.

I walked out of their company and made my way to my car. Before I got in however I looked at their huge building and the logo that was displayed at the front. They were a reputable company and having them as an investor was quite essential for the growth of my own company. I usually sent someone else for such meetings, but after the disaster last time I knew I'd have to personally meet them all and discuss certain things.

 I sighed and pulled the door open before sliding in.

"Oh my god!" I yelled when I saw someone else in the car with me. When I saw who it was I let out a breath and chuckled

"Didn't think I'd scare you"

"Well, you were wrong I suppose" I said as I closed the door and the engine. I put in my seatbelt, before stepping on the accelerator and joining the other vehicles on the road.

"You probably have an idea as to why I'm here"

"Maybe" I said as I waited for the lights to turn green.

"Then let me get to the point"

"I followed your friends yesterday.. And um.. I think they know. They must've found something because they were exactly where you'd said they'd go had they found out about the guy." Jennie spoke as she looked out of the window

"Did anyone see you?" I asked after a beat

"Heh" she snorted and rolled her eyes before saying "No"

I nodded and asked her "Do you really think Tzuyu is really working for them?"

"I don't know Mo.. She had a microphone with her and I know she's dating Sana and-"

"She's dating Sana?"

"Yeah-"

"What in the world?"

"I thought you knew!"

"How would I... Ugh never mind" I huffed

"Poor Momo, doesn't know what's happening outside that little head of hers" she cooed and I glared at her

"I'm pretty sure even Irene fell for our fight the other day" I said trying to change the topic.

She snorted once again before saying "Of course she did! We're such good actors"

"But, you know why this is important right? I need you to act like you and I are on different sides so that we get the information we don't have"

"Of course I understand.. I've been in the agency for a while Mo.. I know how you work. You and I aren't partners for no reason.." she said snapping her fingers

"True.. But just be careful. You're treading unfamiliar territory"

"Nah.. I was born into the world of drugs and thugs remember?" she asked and I nodded. Her parents were drug lords and they were killed by another gang leaving Jennie on the streets alone and scared. She learnt to fight and began to make illegal money through street fighting-
