"Do you guys know each other?" Hayi's eyebrows knitted together in confusion, watching the two stare at each other blankly.
"U-Uh..." Yewon cleared , nodding. "She's actually an old friend of mine from Seoul. Nice to see you again, SinB."
"Friend?" Eunbi thought, a bit offended but she didn't question the matter. "Please, just call me Eunbi."
Hayi grinned. "What a small world. This is great. So..?" The artist eyed them both. "Are you guys not going to hug each other..? You're close friends, right?"
Eunbi and Yewon looked at each other for a moment, the items in the CEO's hands soon being taken by one of Hayi's assistants. The photographer rubbed her forearm, hesitantly spreading her arms to gesture Yewon to come closer. The younger stared a bit longer before taking a step forward with her arms wrapping around the older's neck. Eunbi embraced the other tightly as her heart pounded in her chest. Could Yewon hear it?
"Anyways," Yewon continued after quickly pulling away. "I'll go ahead and help with the snack table. You two just... I don't know. Do your thing."
"Will do. Eunbi, follow me. You're okay with me calling you that, right?"
"Yeah," Eunbi agreed. She grasped her camera to hang the strap over her neck to make sure she was stable. Her eyes glanced to the side to watch Yewon unpack the snacks she brought and for a moment, she swore the CEO locked eyes with her again. As much as she didn't want to be obvious, she wanted nothing but to keep looking at Yewon. She missed her too much not to admire how mature she's gotten in only three years.
Yewon caught the photographer looking at her, but she couldn't blame her either. She too wanted another glance. Perhaps that was why they both caught each other staring in the same direction.
"Don't you think this would look good on me?" Yerin asked as she tried on a different headband. "I feel like my obsession with headbands grew ever since you gifted me the yellow one."
"Yeah?" Yuna chuckled as she stood behind the other, moving her hair for her. They both agreed to finally go out together even if it meant Yuna's manager having to go with them for protection. "Have you bought anything similar to the one I gave you?"
"Nope," Yerin muttered, taking off the headband before grabbing a few more to try. "I've never bought a new yellow one because I want the one you gave me to be the only one of that color. I think it'll mean more to me if that's how I go along with it."
The singer couldn't even bother hiding her smile. Undeniably, she was in love with Yerin and everything she had to offer. Yerin, on the other hand, was living a fan girl's biggest dream. She went from playing Yuna's songs in her cafe to secretly going out with the singer all around Seoul's hidden treasures.
"I like the way you think," Yuna hummed.
"I'm glad you think so." Yerin reached down to grasp the singer's hand, gradually intertwining their fingers together.
The singer enjoyed every small intimate touch they had since they never had enough. She squeezed Yerin's hand in her own as they bought the accessories while her manager followed behind. But as the doors opened to a more public space, Yuna quickly pulled her hand away, causing Yerin's stomach to drop.
Yerin hated when the singer had to pull away. She understood why, but it still hurt nonetheless. She carried her small plastic bag in her left hand, lowering her head as she stuffed her empty hand in her jacket pocket. Yuna waved to her fans quickly, quietly thanking whatever God was up in the sky for not getting caught.
The two hopped in the back of Yuna's van, taking the opportunity to pull down their masks. Yun
