"Yewon," Seohyun faced her younger sister with a careful smile. "Look who decided to pay you a visit."

Yewon stood her ground, her arms limp and stuck to her sides. She was speechless for sure and her heart began to palpitate from her anxiety. She was stuck, unsure of what to do. The others didn't budge either, but it was obvious Eunha was on the verge of tears. She wanted to run and pull her best friend in the tightest hug, but Yuna kept her grip tight around her arm so she could stay still.

"No..." Yewon muttered out. "No, I can't do this. Leave."

"Yewon?"

"Why are you doing this?" Yewon turned to face her sister, her fists trembling since she was so overwhelmed. "Are you planning to make this harder for me than it already is?"

"Yewon..?" Seohyun stepped back in disbelief. "What are you talking about? I... I brought them over here because you were overworking yourself to death! I felt as though they were the only ones who could actually get through your head."

Yewon looked up at her friends again who stood in silence, speechless at the sisters' quarrel. "I'm sorry," Yewon wiped her tears away. "You all need to leave my property before I call my guards."

"You wouldn't," Yuna scoffed. "You can't and you know it, Yewon. At least not to us."

Seohyun swallowed thickly, fidgeting with her fingers before grabbing her items from the table and the closet. "I'll leave you all to talk amongst yourselves."

Yewon kept her gaze down as her sister kissed the side of her head before walking down the hall, the three best friends finally left alone. Yuna quickly pulled Eunha back to where she was standing once she felt the other striding towards Yewon.

"We'll leave, but in one condition," Eunha murmured.

The CEO tilted her head up to lock gazes with her friends, her breath hitching from how hard she was holding back her emotions. "What..?"

"Why?" Eunha's lower lip began quivering. "Why did you leave us..? Why did you drop us like we were nothing? Do you know how many days and nights we've spent wondering what we did wrong and what we could've done to change the outcome? Do you not understand how worried sick we were about you? If you've eaten? If you're getting enough rest? If you're happy? Did you ever think about that, Yewon?"

Eunha's emotions were getting the best of her and Yuna sensed it, ultimately wrapping her arm around the shorter to calm her down, her eyes staring at Yewon once again. "You can't even answer our questions..? Why didn't you just say you wanted to stop being friends with us instead of leaving us in the dark?"

"Bull," Eunha released a sad laugh, her index finger pointing at the picture of three of them hanging on the wall. "You wanted to stop being friends with us then what's that on your wall? Do you think we're fools?"

The CEO bit her lip, unsure of how to respond to all of their questions. She could feel her knees getting weaker. She had an answer to all of their questions, but she couldn't talk due to how cornered she felt.

Yuna released a soft sigh, gradually releasing Eunha from her grip before she walked forward, heading towards Yewon who didn't budge even the slightest bit. Without another word, the singer wrapped her arms around the CEO in the tightest, longest embrace. Yewon, on the other hand, fell into the taller's arms, her sobs escaping her lips that muffled against the singer's shoulder. Yuna squeezed her eyes shut to prevent any tears falling. She could feel Yewon's tight grip around her body. She wasn't sure how long Yewon's been needing a hug like this, but she could sense that the last time she was held was too long ago to remember, and she was saddened yet relieved that she was the first to give it to her again.

"I'm sorry," Yewon's breath hitch, her sobs making it hard for her to breathe and speak. "I'm so so sorry. I really am. I didn't want to stop talking to any of you guys, but I had to." Yewon pulled back, her head tilting up to look at Yuna who used her thumbs to wipe the younger's tears away, yet no matter how many times she dried Yewon's cheeks, they continued falling. Eunha joined them soon after, trapping herself between Yuna and Yewon to give both of them a hug.

"It's okay. Breathe." Yuna kissed the top of Yewon's head, engulfing the two in her arms, enjoying their time together after several years of being apart. "We were angry, Yewon, who wouldn't be? But we both knew you had a reason... We just want to know why."

"I was slacking," Yewon sniffled, her breathing still ragged as they decided to sit down on the couch. "It started a year after I moved here. I was so depressed and lonely. I had nobody except for my family and I love them to death, but it's different to have friends you're comfortable around with. And I wanted to see you two that's why I practically called you guys every day, but my sister began to notice..." She buried her face against her palms, her cries getting louder. "She got angry and yelled at me, even going as far as telling me to leave and go back to you two if I didn't care for the company... But I couldn't blame her. I didn't do my duties, didn't attend meetings, missed deadlines, didn't go to work for days on end because all I wanted to do was talk to both of you."
