Everything in your head was spinning as you sat inside your room. You lived with the Lee’s now and so did Eunji but you didn’t eat nor spoke with anyone for the past five days. You needed time to gather your thoughts.

“~~~~~” you heard Eunji knock on your door

“Sorry I didn’t tell you the truth” she said

“It’s okay. I forgive you. You just wanted me to have a normal life.” It was true you forgave her. Actually you were never mad at her to begin with, just shocked how everything came to you one after another. Suddenly you went from being normal to rich, a huge turn in life and random people jumping in your life now.

“Look. It’s okay if you don’t want to stay here” Eunji continued

“Unni. It’s okay. I don’t mind. I kind of like it here. I wanted to go to college here anyway” I replied while smiling at her. It’s not her fault. She treated me like her real dongsaeng even though I wasn’t. Gave me all her best when she didn’t need to. She loved me and I can tell.

“You still think of me as an unnni!” she said with tears in her eyes

“Yes. That won’t change just because we aren’t blood related” I replied and hugged her

“~~~~~!” she said while crying now in my arms

“Hahaha. Don’t cry unni. I didn’t even bully you!” you joked around

“Look. There’s more to this situation” she said suddenly with a very serious tone

“What?” you asked confused of the situation

“Mrs. Lee wanted you here because of a promise between our mom.” She looked at me

“You have a fiancée.” She said

“A WHAT?!” you asked shocked how jumping out of your seat from the bed

“You can choose either L.Joe or Chunji. Mom wanted this but I didn’t know and took you away to Busan with me years ago.” She said

“A WHAT!” I asked

“Fiancée. Actually fiancée’s” she replied

“Why?!” I asked confused! “I’m only 17! Too young for marriage!” I shouted

“I know. But you have to choose. It’s for your sake.” She smiled and came to hug me

“But… I haven’t even had a boyfriend before!” I shook in her embrace.

“You can try with the two of them. They know anyway” she said while looking at me

“They do?!” I asked That’s why they were so nice to me! FREAKS!  I thought in my head while remembering my encounters with them.

That’s why even though these past five days I did nothing they came and checked on me just to see if I was okay or not. They had a purpose. I will definitely not fall for them.  I thought

“Unni. I’ll try but if I don’t like them in the end I’ll decide who I’ll marry okay?” before she could answer someone cut into our conversation

“Okay. If in this year you still do not like either of my son’s then you can marry whoever you want” Mrs. Lee suddenly added

Shocked I looked back and saw her by the door with a tray of food in her hands

“You didn’t come for dinner so I came up with it instead” she said placing the tray on a table.

“Thank you” I replied and went to her

“One year time” I said while looking at her

With an ease expression she replied “yes, one year. If in this year you don’t like either of them, I won’t force you.” She replied and smiled “I do want you to be happy too” she said and patted my shoulders

After that the three of us just sat down and talked about how my life has been these past years since appa and omma left. Mrs. Lee really wanted to know how I have been doing and so unni and I just kept answering until we all got tired and went to sleep. When I woke up the next morning I realized that living here wasn’t so bad. I mean I get to have what I want. For the first time in 2 weeks I headed downstairs for breakfast.
