University: Mistaken Identity.
Crossing the Parallel Paths
“Jung Jaehyun!” Seulgi called out at the male after catching him walking by.
“Look at you,” Jaehyun chortled at her. “Walking around as if you were a student here you intruder. Why are you here anyway?”
“Oh shut up I know that you missed me,” Seulgi countered, flicking his arm. “I have a long weekend so I decided to drop by.”
“Hmmm.” Jaehyun nodded as the two of them walked in sync along the courtyard. “By the way Taeyong’s mystery girlfriend is finally back and we’ve been hanging out.”
“Mystery— sunbae?!?” Seulgi screeched.
Jaehyun flinched, swearing that her voice had just permanently damaged his eardrums. Massaging his ear with one hand, Jaehyun used his other hand to pinch Seulgi’s cheeks in retaliation. To his surprise, the girl showed no response. Instead, she was frozen stiff, her eyes doubling is size as she stared at something.
Following her gaze, Jaehyun’s eyes landed on a figure who’s head was poking out from behind a bush, the body of the owner completely hidden. The hair was short, barely reaching below the ears and Jaehyun instantaneously recognised who it was.
“I’m not ready to face him yet!” Seulgi squealed, hiding behind Jaehyun.
“Face who?” The male frowned, not understanding Seulgi’s flustered state.
“Sunbae!”
“Sunbae? You mean Johnny?”
“Who else?” Seulgi hissed while pointing a scared finger at the bob of hair poking out from the bush just a few metres from them.
Jaehyun’s face twisted in confusion, unable to understand the logic behind Seulgi’s words. However he was a smart guy and soon he figured out the huge misunderstanding that Seulgi had regarding everything. This triggered a bout of laughter.
