University: Disillusionment.

True to Nari’s words, on the day of Seulgi’s arrival, everyone gathered at Taeyong and Jaehyun’s house for dinner. A pot of budaejjigae simmered in the middle of the low coffee table, the rich aroma of sweet and spicy and everything flavourful wafting in the air.

“Scotland?” Seulgi gawked, slapping her chopsticks onto the table and earning a look of disapproval from Taeyong who disliked having his furniture damaged.

Seulgi however did not care for Taeyong’s reaction and instead pointed an accusatory finger at Jaehyun, ready to launch a verbal attack on him.

“I swear I didn’t know until now either!” Jaehyun raised his hands in innocence.

Furrowing her eyebrows, Seulgi moved her arm and moved onto her next target only to come face to face with Johnny who wore an equally perplexed expression. “It’s rude to point fingers,” Taeyong mumbled. “And why are you this shocked? You said it yourself, she’s a wild card.”

“Yes, but…” Seulgi stuttered, unable to offer an effective counterargument. “Scotland is so far…”

Shrinking inwards, Seulgi jutted her lips out in a pout. Feeling his motherly instincts kick in, Johnny scooped food into Seulgi’s bowl and nudged at Jaehyun to give the girl a comforting pat on her shoulders since he was sitting next to her.

“Jaehyun, you got accepted at the Hong Kong firm right?” Johnny nodded. “Then we really will be scattering.”

“Yes but I’ll be interning at the newly opened Daegu branch,” Jaehyun explained. “Taeyong though fortunately got accepted at a local architectural firm here in Seoul. He was never one to stray away from home.”

Chapter 44: I’m a new read to the story. I love the story. I wish there was parts of their lives included while they were apart or when they got together. I wish their was a chapter to everyone reaction to her finally coming back for good. I wanted the end to include her and taeyong finally getting together as well as their friends reactions to the new or maybe how they are as a couple.

Chapter 43: I think Nari is the most feisty FL out of all the other FLs from your writings that I’ve read. Eventhough there was no clear love line, there were still subtle hints that were given here and there. But dangg, it really took Taeyong yearsssss huh to muster his courage.
Thank you for this nice story. I definitely enjoyed reading it.
