"You don't have the right to say that to me dahil hindi mo ko kilala" she said straight into my face. 

Hindi ako nakapagsalita habang siya naman ay lumakad paalis sa harapan ko. I just roamed my eyes around us and I saw everyone looking at us and they were all glaring at me. When my eyes landed on my friends, I can see the disappointment in their eyes as well.

Okay, I admit it. I ed up!

I was contemplating when I heard her speak again. 

"Ganito na lang" she said then paused.

Hinarap ko siya and I saw her leaning on the billiard table. I watched her walk towards me without breaking our eye contact then she stopped right in front of me. Yung layo namin sa isa't isa ngayon ay halos isang hakbang na lang. Tahimik ang buong paligid habang hinihintay nila si Jennie na magsalita. 

"Why don't we make a bet?" she said na may awrang naghahamon. 

A bet? All of sudden? tanong ko sa isip ko. 

"What? Don't tell me natatakot kang matalo ka nang isang simpleng estudyanteng katulad ko?" dagdag niya pa wearing an annoying smirk on her face. 

I looked around and they are all staring at me, waiting for me to accept her challenge. 

"What?" tanong niya ulit bago siya humakbang ng isa papalapit sakin. 

Sa sobrang lapit niya, amoy ko na yung napakabangong amoy ng pabango niya. It was sweet pero hindi masakit sa ilong. I can also see how flawless and smooth her skin is. 

"What now Lisa? Umurong na ba yang dila mo sa takot at hindi mo magawang sumagot?" taas kilay at nakangising tanong niya ulit. 

"And why would I do that? Anong mapapala ko sa pagpatol sa paghahamon mo?" I asked trying to sound confident and not look intimated at her.

She smiled first before she speaks. 

"Pag natalo mo ko, I won't bother you anymore.  As in, kahit kelan. You won't here anything from me and I will let you live in peace" sagot niya. 

Natahimik ako. She will give me a peaceful life and will leave me alone. I guess that's a good deal but why am I feeling otherwise though? Bakit parang hindi ko gusto yung consequence pag natalo ko siya? Why do I feel like, I don't want her stop bothering me? Why do I feel like I don't want her to be gone? Gosh! She's really making me insane!

I heave a deep sigh before I speak. 

"What do you think?" she asked that brought me back to reality. 

"Not bad" maiksing sagot ko and she just nodded her head saka niya ko tinalikuran. 

Napakunot noo naman ako dahil hindi niya pa sinasabi kung ano naman ang magiging kondisyon kapag siya ang nanalo.

I was about to ask her what's on my mind when she beats me to it and talk before I could even utter a single word. 

"But if I win..." she said and paused then she faced me again. 

She looked straight into my eyes again at kinabahan naman ako when I saw her smirked  before she completes her sentence. I can feel my heart started beating fast while waiting for her to speak. 

"If I win... You'll spend your weekend with me. This weekend. Ako ang magdedesisyon kung saan at ako ang masusunod sa lahat but of course, all expenses will be paid by you" 

Our eyes locked. She waited for my decision at alam kong ganun din yung mga taong kanina pa nakikiusyoso samin. Should I accept her challenge? But what if I lose? I don't know if I could stand a day with her na kaming dalawa lang.

Hindi niya pa rin inaalis ang tingin niya sa mga mata ko and she's really challenging me. 

"I'm not gonna do it. That's non- sense" I uttered. 

Yes, I decided not to accept her challenge not because I am afraid to lose but because I am afraid of myself. Having Jennie around me makes me feel weird things na pilit kong iniiwasan and spending the weekend with her, only the two of us alone will not help me. 

Kumunot naman ang noo niya at kita kong nagngalit ang mga bagang niya. Malamang dahil sa galit o inis niya sa akin. But this is it. It's a no whether she likes it or not. 

Tinalikuran ko siya at akmang lalabas na sana ko ng lugar ng marinig kong magsalita ulit siya. 

"ATTENTION EVERYONE! GUYS, GIRLS?" she said in a loud voice that made me stop and made everyone looked at her. 

Muli akong humarap sa kanya and I saw her facing the students na nakapalibot samin ngayon. 

What is she doing? 

"I am challenging Lisa Manoban to make a bet with me. Kaya lang she refused. Mukhang natatakot siya! Is this really the student council president na binoto niyo? Duwag? Do we really voted for a coward leader in our university?" she said that made everyone said 'boo'.

"Sige na Lisa pagbigyan mo na tong si Jennie" 

"Boo! Natatakot ka lang ata dude eh!" 

"Ano ba yan ang weak naman! Bilib pa naman ako sayo dati"

Ilan lang yan sa mga komentong binibitawan ng mga estudyanteng naririto ngayon. I glared at Jennie and she just raised an eyebrow at me, still challenging me. I clenched my jaw and walked towards her. I leaned closer to her face na halos magdikit na ang mukha namin sa sobrang lapit but she didn't even budge a bit. I can hear everyone's loud cheer around us. 

"Pag nanalo ako, you will stay out of my life" I said straight to her face. 

"Call"

Jennie's POV

"Konti na lang! Isang tira na lang yan Lis!" Jisoo shouted behind us. 

Her friends together with mine and other students are all behind us watching us. Napagkasunduan kasi namin ni Lisa na maglaro na lang ng Tekken. 

Sa totoo lang kinakabahan ako sa pwedeng kalabasan ng pustahan namin na to pero siyempre I won't make a bet kung alam kong wala akong pag asang manalo. Hindi ko alam kung gaano siya kagaling dito but I don't  doubt myself either. Isa pa, wala na kong naisip na ibang paraan for her to spend time with me. Naisip ko kasi, she will never change what she thought about me kung hindi niya ko lubusang makikilala at ang tanging paraang naisip ko lang for her to know me better is to make her agree to spend time with me. But as expected, sobrang aloof niya talaga at hindi ganun kadaling mapapayag so I have no other choice but to take this shot. It's all or nothing ika nga nila. Well, kapag natalo niya naman ako, tutupad naman ako sa usapan na lalayuan ko na siya kahit na mahirap at masakit pa yun para sa akin. Ganun kasi akong tao, I am a woman of words at kapag sinabi ko, tutuparin ko. But I won't give up without putting up a fair fight. I won't let her go that easy. 

Going back to our bet, last round na to ng labanan namin. I won the first round and she won the second kaya we are now on the final round at konti na lang din yung buhay ng character ko. Kapag hindi ako nag- ingat for sure matatalo ako. 

Everybody in this room are going wild dahil nga konti na lang at matatapos na ang pustahan. I can see the worried look on my bestfriend's face but she continued to cheer for me. On the other hand, I can see naman on my peripheral sight the smirk on Lisa's face as she took a glance at me which made me gritted my teeth dahil sa sobrang inis ko. 

Ibinalik ko ang tingin ko sa screen at saka ako nagfocus. Lisa keeps on attacking my character and of course I keep on moving back, avoiding her attacks and waiting for the right timing to fight back. 

"What's wrong? Why don't you fight? Come on, stop running away from me" she said habang palinga linga pa sa akin. 

An idea popped out in my mind naman. I ignored her and she continuously attacking my character but too bad I was on defense mode. I've got a plan and I believe it will work. Wag ka lang magkakamali ng galaw Lisa. 

Nagpatuloy siya sa pagsuntok sa character ko pero wala pa ring nangyayari. 

"Lis ano ba yan, tapusin mo na!" sigaw ni Seulgi na nakatayo sa may gilid niya. 

"Stop running! Fight me!" inis na sabi niya sabay tingin niya sakin. 

That's it! This is the moment that I've been waiting for. Hinihintay ko lang na madestruct siya and when she does, that will be the perfect timing to attack. So, I made a move and attacked her character. I've press the buttons real hard that made my character Christie Monteiro do a combo shots. The combo was a success and I saw how Lisa's eyes widen when she saw that I've been attacking her character already. 

"Wooo!!!!" 

"Yes!"

"Sige lang Jen attack!" 

Sigaw ng mga estudyanteng nanonood sa amin ngayon. I never stopped pressing the buttons and Lisa did the same as well. 

"! !" she cursed while she was pressing the arcade's button trying to make her hero fight but too bad I never let her hero stand up. Multiple combos were thrown and Christie's legendary Capoeira attack made Jin, Lisa's character to lose. 

Lisa lose and I smirked after the arcade announced that I won the battle. Everyone were too loud and cheering loudly when I won. I looked at Lisa and her brows we're furrowed. Nakatingin lang siya sa screen at nagulat na lang ako ng marahas siyang tumayo sa kinauupuan niya. 

"This is such a silly idea. I'm not doing this!" she said at akmang aalis na pero hindi ako papayag. 

I quickly stood up at agad na tumakbo at hinarangan siya na tuluyang makaalis. I spread my arms para pigilan siya then I lifted my head up to look straight into her eyes. 

"You.are.doing.this, whether you like it or not Lisa" I said trying to be as authoritative as possible. 

A bet is a bet and I won. Sa ayaw at gusto niya, she will spend her weekend with me. 

"Come on! Stop running away from me" dagdag ko pa habang ginagaya how she said that to me earlier.
