The weekend passed in the blink of an eye for Sunggyu. His schedule was full, and his part-time job shifts didn't help at all. He didn't find the time to plan for the upcoming week which made him feel stressed. He decided to wake up early that Monday. Indeed, he woke up seven minutes late. Sunggyu's eyes widened when he checked the time on his phone, he jumped off his bed and rushed to the bathroom. Sunggyu admitted that it was the quickest shower he had ever taken. When he finished drying his hair and body, Sunggyu ran back to his room and grabbed the outfit he took out of his closet the night before. He was glad that he had the time to prepare his files and notes as well.

He was leaving the room to the kitchen when his phone buzzed and it was his mother, he ran back to room too pick it up "Son, good morning!"

He put the call on speaker and shifted his steps back to kitchen "Morning mom!"

"How's your day going?" she asked.

"Imperfectly perfect!!" he took a sip of his sour instant coffee, it wasn't his favorite nonetheless.

"Oh why? I thought you would be excited for your first day of your teaching practice"

"I'll be so glad if I didn't miss the bus mom!" He scanned the room with his eyes just to make sure he didn't forget anything and then made his way to the main door after picking up his phone.

"Look what happens when you don't listen to your mother. I told you to go to bed early last night, what happened?" she sounded like scolding him, but Sunggyu isn't a four years old kid anymore.

He made sure to lock the door before skipping to the elevator. "I had to drive an old drunk man home, he told me he lived in Gangbuk, and when we arrived there he showed me his old house which was turned into an orphanage.." Sunggyu has no mind left to trust that old drunk man. Anyway, he didn't wait a lot until the door of the elevator was open. He stepped in and mouthed for the lady that he wanted to go to the ground floor. Sunggyu sighed and continued "He lives in Gangnam"

There was a set of loud laughter on the other side of the phone. The lady in the elevator threw few glares at him, he had to apologize. "Mom, I'll hang up now, talk to you later" he whispered through the phone.

She was out of breaths when she said "Alright. Talk to you later son" and continued laughing.

Sunggyu slipped his phone back in his backpack, he threw it across his back and made his way to the bus stop. Luckily, the bus was there, he jumped into it and found an empty seat for him to sit. After few minutes, the bus came to another stop as more people got in. Sunggyu spotted few students wearing school uniforms, he recognized the logo –Hana Academy. The intern blinked few times when he noticed the children were leaving, he didn't know for how long he was staring. He jumped off his seat and followed them, he didn't want to lose his way to school. When he finally was there, Sunggyu scanned the school campus. It was gigantic, three –different in size- campuses, he assumed they were pre-school, primary, and high school all in one place. There was a huge sports field as well.

Two students passed by him, they seemed to be teenagers "Excuse me, but where can I find the teacher's office"

They stared at him for a couple of seconds, "Are you new here?" one student asked.

"Kind of?" Sunggyu was nervous, they look scary.. he thought.

"Follow us!" the other student said with a smile,

..maybe not.

Sunggyu followed them to the teachers' office, sometimes the two students would stop to exchange weird greets with other students, but that didn't make him one second late nevertheless.

As soon as he entered the room, he saw a tall man standing in front of him. In a blink of an eye Sunggyu caught the name of that guy 'Kim Daehan' was written on his name tag, he remembered Mr. Park telling him the name of the guy he's going to work with, that must be him. He bowed.

"You must be Kim Sunggyu. Mr. Park told me about you, I will be your mentor school teacher for seven weeks. My name is Kim Daehan, let's work well together!" Mr. Kim said with a smile. He shook hand with Sunggyu. Being a mentor teacher means he's going to train Sunggyu on how to teach, what to teach, and sometimes observe him teaching and write feedbacks for him. 

Sunggyu had to admit that Mr. Kim was so handsome.. For the first time he will be training under the guide of a guy. For the past few years, he was trained by old ladies who used to call him 'cutie' when no one was around.. Just thinking about that made the young guy shiver. He nodded. Why are you nervous Kim Sunggyu..?

"Don't be shy to ask me about anything, I will be glad to answer you!" Mr. Kim said as he grabbed his files. "It's Monday, and I have to teach the first period. Life is not fair sometimes" he chuckled "But anyway, let's introduce you to your students" Mr. Kim took the lead to the classroom, Sunggyu followed him suit.

Sunggyu felt nervous already. He just met the other, he doesn't know anything about him yet –except for his name. He thinks he needs more time to adjust the new information in his head that he is going to be working with the other for seven weeks, yet, the other is telling him that he is going to meet his students now?? Sunggyu can't understand what he has got himself into yet..

Before they enter, Mr. Kim stopped, he narrowed his eyes, spun on his heels to face the young guy "Do you have an ID badge?"

It took Sunggyu few seconds to comprehend what the other was saying "I do have!" he took his employee ID badge out of his backpack before throwing the lanyard around his neck, "sorry!" he smiled nervously.

"So you can talk!" there was a surprised look on Mr. Kim's face, he was joking nonetheless. "Don't be nervous boy, I thought they would think you are a new student without that badge, you look so young man" he chuckled.

A nod.
