Just like Choi Si Won, Kim Tae Hyung was also a part of a wealthy family. His father was a businessman and his mother a famous event manager. Other than Si Won, Tae Hyung never liked the wealth side he preferred to work hard by himself and go through life by experiencing and so on – like other people would do. Four times a year all rich families of Rokpyu would meet and talk about progresses etc. Tae Hyung never attended such evenings because he gets bored very easily. This time he decided to join, not because Si Won told so but he missed his parents also. He’d shortly show up and then leave, it wasn’t a big deal for him. He wore a dark jean with a blouse on top and arrived by the bus. Not very usual for a wealthy child, but this was Tae Hyung. On the bus he received a call from Joo Hyun which he didn’t pick up. He was never a fan of hiding stuff of each other but if Joo Hyun would find out that he’s visiting those wannabe-meetings, she’d assume that he wants to be a part of them. Even though he’d tell her he is not. For Joo Hyun actions meant more than simple words. ‘Sorry baechu!” Tae Hyung said and turned his phone off.

Joo Hyun was in the car of Si Won which he was driving. Lee Teuk sat on the passenger’s seat and Joo Hyun sat behind with Ji Soo. They drove back from the theatre. Joo Hyun frowned and sighed as she put her phone down. Lee Teuk did the same and turned around to Joo Hyun “You’re also trying to reach someone?” He asked. Ji Soo turned to look at Joo Hyun who nodded at Lee Teuk “I was calling Tae Hyung. I called him a few times already actually, but he strangely doesn’t pick up. Normally he would immediately…” She pouted and looked at her phone. Si Won glanced her from the driving mirror. ‘Perhaps he’s at the meeting…’ He thought. “Dong Hae also doesn’t pick up. I have a bad feeling leaving him all alone.” Lee Teuk said. Ji Soo poked Joo Hyun’s arm and whispered, “Did he write back?” Joo Hyun shook her head. Si Won dropped the others home whereas he drove to the meeting right after.

Tae Hyung sat at the table with his parents who nagged him for being inappropriately dressed. They ate dinner and listened to the speech of several people. After dinner everyone went around to talk to each other. Tae Hyung was standing at the corner trying to catch Si Won anywhere. His eyes caught Mrs. Bae, Joo Hyun’s mum, coming at his direction. He corrected his posture and smiled at her. When she was standing opposite of him, he bowed a little. Mrs. Bae smiled at him “Good to see you, Tae Hyung-ah.” She said and gave him a hug. “I didn’t know you were in town Mrs. Bae.” Tae Hyung said. Mrs. Bae looked disbelievingly at him “Come on, Joo Hyun must have immediately ran to you and told you everything.” She laughed. Tae Hyung scratched his neck and forced a smile. “It’s okay, Tae Hyung-ah. I fully trust you with my daughter. But there is one thing, I am very unsatisfied of and I guess you knowing it wouldn’t be bad.” She faked a sad expression “I want Joo Hyun to marry a decent guy. That’s why I looked up for possible candidates for my daughter. I’d like her to meet them in the next days. They all live here. It would be a great help, if you’d convince her to give it a try.” She said. Tae Hyung slowly nodded “I don’t think she wants to marry yet.” He smilingly said. Mrs. Bae laughed “Now, of course not but she’ll want in the future.” She said. Tae Hyung lowered his gaze and tapped his feet, feeling uncomfortable of the conversation “Yes.” He said and raised his eyes again. He suddenly spotted Si Won entering the building and walking into a crowd “Oh, I just saw a friend. It was nice talking to you Mrs. Bae.” He said and took steps forward “Tae Hyung-ah!” Mrs. Bae called after him which made Tae Hyung stop and turn around “I won’t stay long in this city. Think of what I said…” She smiled. Tae Hyung just looked at her, bowed a little and walked away. Si Won was shaking hands with important men in the circle “Excuse me, gentlemen!” Tae Hyung smilingly said and pulled Si Won away. They went out to the balcony. Tae Hyung inhaled and exhaled deeply. “Hey buds! Are you okay?” Si Won smilingly asked. Tae Hyung glared at him “Ya! I hate these evenings!” He whined. “I don’t adore them neither, but it’s our duty to be here.” Si Won said and sat on a stool down. Tae Hyung sat opposite to him “Why did you come late then, if it’s so important to you?” He asked. “Because I also attended an event which is as much important as this one.” Tae Hyung tilted his head “I wondered were you were tho. How can you miss a play of your best friend?” Si Won shook his head. Tae Hyung frowned slightly and looked to him “What are you talking about?” He asked. Si Won sighed “Joo Hyun had her play, did you forget? She was trying to reach you afterwards…” Tae Hyung frowned deeper “She had what?!” He asked, not understanding the whole context. Si Won noticed through the glass door that his father called him, so he excused himself and left. Tae Hyung was still confused of his statement

Joo Hyun was combing her hair since she took a shower as soon as she got home. She was humming to a song as she was neatly combing her hair. Her phone made her stop combing it halfway. She walked to her bed since her phone was laying on it. Seeing the name on her display made her heart speed rise again. She tried to be cool as she inhaled and exhaled deeply and picked up.

+ Yes?

-You home?

+ I am *she smiled*

-Good.

+ What about you? Lee Teuk oppa was worried since he left you alone.

-Nah, I’m good. I’m also home right now.

+ Okay…

-Why didn’t you tell me that your acting was so good? You were dazzling today.

+ *she laughed* I didn’t know myself actually… You were decent too.

-*he sighed* Joo Hyun-ah…

+ Hm?

-I…I…I…

+ …yes…?

-*he sighed* Are you attending Si Won’s birthday tomorrow?

+ *she frowned* No one told me about it actually.

-No way! Did Si Won not tell you about it?

+ No, he didn’t. Is he having a party?

-That idiot…how can he forget you on the list?

+ *she smiled* It’s not that bad. Ah! I remember now. He asked me about it but I declined the offer since I had plans with my boyfr…

-Your boyfriend?

+ Ex-boyfriend to be exact. We had plans and so on and Si Won oppa probably thought that I am busy, so…

-Wait…you’re not dating anymore?

+ Eventually not.

-I see *he smirked* How are you feeling about it?

+ *she sighed* Actually-

-Wait! Tell me in person. I’m officially inviting you to Si Won’s birthday party tomorrow.

+ *she laughed* Alright.

-Promise you’ll be there.

+ *she continued laughing* Why…

-Promise.

+ Okay, I promise.

-Good. Joo Hyun-ah, good night *he whispered*

+ Good night *she whispered back*

-Let’s meet in our dreams.

+ …

-*he hung up*

Joo Hyun dumbfounded stared at her phone. When she met Dong Hae, she was already mesmerized of his aura, then talking to him made her feel more comfortable around him. She admits that she might have a crush on him but something in the way, he treated her sometimes or said things to her, were reasons to fall in love with him. Is this his personality or does he usually behave like this? She wasn’t sure, she doesn’t know him enough to tell it. The feeling she has for him now made her anxious. She wanted to know more about him but was afraid to be disappointed also. Especially not after she broke up with Doo Joon. Joo Hyun didn’t know, if she had enough energy to restart her love life but Dong Hae was a different topic. She was feeling comfortable and excited around him. She didn’t feel like she had to fight for something or to force herself for anything. With him, time just flew itself. Joo Hyun was smiling like a kid and lay back down. She opened Dong Hae’s picture on her phone and was staring at it. “I want to know everything about you…” She mumbled as she his picture with her thumb.

A knocking on her door made her wake up of her pinkie dream. She quickly got up and opened the door. “Is something wrong?” She asked Tae Hyung with a frown who glared at her and entered without answering. “Okay…” Joo Hyun closed the door. Tae Hyung sighed and sat down “You know baechu, people always wonder what makes our friendship so special. Like… how did we manage to hold onto each other for so many years.” Tae Hyung said. Joo Hyung blinked at him. “I think the secret most importantly is that we communicate well and support each other. We’re like sibling. Damn, even biological siblings can’t go far as we did.” He chuckled. “Were you dreaming about the process of our friendship that you came at this hour to talk about it?” Joo Hyun remarked and sat across him. “Did I ever hide anything from you?” Tae Hyung asked. Joo Hyun looked at him and shook her head after few seconds. Tae Hyung let out a breath and smiled “Did you hide anything from me?” He looked at her. Joo Hyun frowned “Or… do you hide anything from me?” His expression changed. “What- I- no…” Joo Hyun answered. Tae Hyung sighed and lowered his head “You see… that was what I was afraid of. You’re lying Joo Hyun-ah. You’re lying to me. You’re- you’re forgetting your past… you-“Joo Hyun interrupted her “Okay, wait. What did you hear?” She asked. “That you secretly met with that wannabe guitar teacher and volunteered on a play? Does that sound familiar?” He looked at her with a cold expression. Joo Hyun slightly gulped and lowered her gaze “Tae, I was going to tell you but the timing-“Tae Hyung coldly laughed “The time has come, Joo Hyun. The time of being untrue to yourself. The time of losing yourself.” He said and tilted his head. Joo Hyun slowly got pissed and changed her expression. “Why do you always exaggerate situations which are related to either Dong Hae oppa or any other member of the Rokpyu group? Why can’t you accept the fact that they are here now and that we can maybe restart things-“Joo Hyun’s voice got higher in every word. “Because they ruined your life! Because they left you behind! Because your father died! You forgot it already?!” Tae Hyung shouted and looked at her who was shocked of his words “I can’t stand the fact that you’re forgetting your goals, your vision, your motives of moving here or the things you’ve build up. For whom, huh? For a ing person? For that ing teacher? You love him, don’t you Joo Hyun?!” He shouted louder. Joo Hyun closed her eyes and exhaled deep “Correct! I love him, Kim Tae Hyung! I LOVE HIM!” Joo Hyun stood up “And I can’t stand the fact that you’re behaving disrespectfully when it comes to decisions in my life. Why can’t you
