Kang Mieun Shows Support For Her Brother Produce X 101 Trainee Cho Seungyoun

Astraea member Kang Mieun showed love for her younger brother Cho Seungyoun after the latest episode of “Produce X 101”!

On July 13, the Astraea member took to Instagram to share a photo of her Cho Seungyoun ranking No. 6 on the July 12 episode of the Mnet survival show. She also posted a photo with Kim Wooseok from TOP Media who's known as Mieun's best friend who ranked second in the latest episode. 

Kang Mieun wrote in the caption, “It's been a while bub. I'm so proud of you <3.”

"Are you watching the finale?" Minhyun asked once the show was over. 

"Seungyounie would understand. I don't want to steal his spotlight plus you have a concert that day."

"It would mean the world to him if you support him live. You don't need to watch me" 

"Oppa... Seungyounie and I talked about this before. I'll support him in the shadows."

"Alright. I just want you to know that just because you are my girlfriend doesn't mean you have to be in all of our concerts. You have your own life too." 

"Thank you oppa" 

Fr: Younie

I saw your post noona, sorry I can't comment. Thank you for the support

To: Younie

You're doing so well younie. I'm so proud of you, I hope you know that

Fr: Younie

I know noona. Thank you for everything. 

To: Younie

I wouldn't be in Korea during the finale. Can we meet up? 

Fr: Younie

We got free time today. Are you free today noona? 

To: Younie

Yeah, I'm free today. Is it okay if I bring Jieun with me?

Fr: Younie

Of course. I really wanted to meet her too. I heard rumors that she looks exactly like you noona

To: Younie

Yeah Hyun said the same thing too so I guess Jieun is really my minnie me. Is it okay if we meet in the evening? Jieun still has school in the afternoon. 

Fr: Younie

Of course noona. Is it okay if we meet up near our dorms? Some of the kids are asking for my help. 

To: Younie

Of course. I'll see you in a while. 

"Oppa, would it be okay if I meet up with Seungyoun today? All three of us are going to dinner" 

"Of course you can eun-ah. You don't even need my permission" He said kissing my hand. 

"I just feel like you should know too." 

We arrived at the camp around 5 in the evening. The producers are usually strict when it comes to visitation. I was very lucky that they allow me to visit even when the visitation days is already over. 

The trainees were rehearsing their finale song. Seungyoun is a part of "To My World" while wooseok would be performing "Boyness". 

"Jieun-ah you have to be really quiet or else Mieun unnie and Seungyoun oppa would get in trouble" 

She nodded cutely before peaking at the door.

Seungyoun was filming while we wait at the side. 

"Seungyoun, you have visitors" the pd called making everybody confused. 

"Annyeonghaseyo" Jieun greeted shyly. 

"Annyeong..." I also greeted. 

"annyeong sunbaenim" theys said immediately standing up to greet me. 

"Please don't stand. I came here not as a sunbae but as Seungyoun's noona. So sorry if I broke some rules" 

"It's okay noona." Yohan answered. 

"How is Mieun sunbaenim related to Seungyoun hyung?" Junho asked quietly

"He's her younger brother" Yunseong explaned to Junho

"Annyeong!" Seungyoun cheerfully greeted us.

"Aigoo Jieun-ah, I thought you're excited to meet oppa?" 

"Hi oppa!" Seungyoun scooted down and gave jieun a tight hug. 

"How about me?" I teased

"Nice to see you too noona" He said hugging me with his other hand. 

"Sorry if we have to drop by unnannounced. We're meeting Seungyoun but we want to surprise him so we just decided to go here" I explained to them

"How did the pd allow you? They are really so strict when it comes to visits" 

"They got used to me I guess. Back in Season 2. I always visit Samuel and the nuest oppas, during Season 3, i visited Kauen too. They are used to me dropping by every once in a while especially when they found out this guy is my brother" 

"That explains it. It's good that you're here noona." 

"Jieun-ah, why don't you give the oppas the food we prepared earlier" 

Jieun nodded before starting to distribute the food we prepared earlier. 

"Did jieunnie do all of this for the oppas?" Seungyoun asked her sweetly in which she replied with a nod. 

"Komawoyo Ms. Jieun" 

This is the very first time Jieun meets Seungyoun. We were very fortunate that our mothers are such amazing women. They allowed us to bond as siblings without fearing of hurting them. 

"She likes you younie" 

"You think so?" He asked while eating the dumplings from the bento. 

"I know so. She doesn't usually react well on people she just met, even our relatives she's quiet. With you, it's really different. She's like that with Minhyun oppa too so it means she really likes you. It makes sense tho, you're her brother after all" 

"It's nice that I met you noona. At least this time, I'm no longer alone. I have an older sister and a younger sister that I'll protect"

"Aww that's so sweet Seungyoun-ah" 

"I want to meet Minhyun hyung too noona."

"We'll schedule that for another day, let's go?" 

We bid goodbye to his fellow trainees and continue our bonding elsewhere.

Soooo I wanted to show you another side of Mieun that's why this chapter is dedicated to her and her siblings. 

Also, you will notice that I changed her brother. I figured that Mieun's brother should be younger than her instead of older so I changed it from Hotshot's Hojung to Uniq/X1's Seungyoun.
