Chaeyeon POV

It was raining cats and dogs outside. I checked the clocked. It was 10pm. I had been waiting for Sakura to wake up for four days but there was still no sign of her waking up soon. During that four days I still had not meet her parent. They came when I was not around and not even my members saw them. Maybe they were not interested in Sakura friend at all. I sat beside Sakura bed. I hold her hand then I started to play with her hand.

“Saku-chan, I’m bored, when are you going to play with me again?”

I kissed her hand and started playing with her finger.

“Your hand feels so nice, it was warm and I like it so much,”

Then, Sakura finger move slowly. Sakura intertwined our hand together. She turned to me and smiled.

“How long have you wait?” Sakura asked.

I was in shock. I teared up. Sakura is alive.

“Saku-chan….” I cried.
“Hey Jjaeyeon, how are you?” Sakura asked.

I hugged her tight.

“Hey hold on…I’m still hurt,” Sakura whined.
“Sorry…” I let her go.

Sakura just smiles. 

“I need to call the doctor! Don’t go anywhere!”

I said and rushed to find the doctor.

The doctor just finished checking on Sakura and he said that Sakura was all right. It was a miracle that she healed so fast. I texted Yujin and Yena about Sakura and I told them to visit tomorrow since it was getting late. I waited until it was only me and Sakura in the room.

“Jjayeon…come here!” Sakura ordered me to sit next to her.

I smiled and did as her wish. She pulled me for a hug as soon as I sat.

“I was afraid I would not be able to come back…” Sakura whispered.
“Don’t say that, you are here now…”
“I saw you in my dream but I can’t touch you,’
“It’s only a dream Saku-chan, you are with me now,” I added.

Sakura cupped my face.

“Being able to touch you again make me happy, I love you Jjaeyeon!”

Sakura pulled me for a kiss. A very long one. I could feel butterfly in my stomach and fireworks everywhere. It was too nice. Then, we slowly broke from the kiss.

“Do you miss kissing me that much?” I asked.
“I miss everything related to you,” Sakura whispered.

I blushed. My face felt hot. Sakura was too good with words. 

“Doctor said you need to rest more,” I told her.
“But you need to stay here, don’t run away….”

I nodded and help Sakura to lay back on her bed. I sat beside her.

“Sleep tight and dream of me…” I said.
“As you wish Jjayeon…”

I her hair and waited until she fell asleep. 

“I’m happy you are back Saku-chan….”

It had been a year since I entered IZ*ONE Academy and today is the last day of school. 3 months since the terrible incident that almost killed my Saku-chan. Kaeun left the school after the incident and never came back. The last time I saw her, she was talking to Sakura in the hospital and then she was gone. They said she went abroad. I just didn’t know

“Hey Jjayeon, lets go. We are going to be late!” Eunbi called me.

Last day in school mean a graduation day for the seniors of class 13. Irene and Seulgi will be graduating this year and I will be the senior next year. We were preparing surprise for them both. I followed Eunbi to the rooftop and all my members were there.

“Come on! They are coming soon!”

We hid behind the boxes. When Irene and Seulgi came, we surprised them with balloons and graduation cake. Irene and Seulgi hugged everyone and there were tears everywhere. When its my turn to hug Irene, Irene pulled me away from the others.

“Unnie, why?” I was curious.
“I want to apologize because of everything I did to you,” Irene said.
“No, there is nothing to apologize, you help me a lot unnie,”
“Chaeyeon…I don’t want to admit this but I’m sure you are the perfect one for Sakura,”
“Unnie…..”
“Take care of her Chaeyeon…Make her happy, that’s my only wish,”

I almost teared up and Irene pulled me for a hug.

“Thank you Unnie,” I said.
“No Chaeyeon, thank you….”

  Then, someone talked on the school speaker.

“Aaaa…aaa testing testing…”

LOL. It’s Sakura.

“Hi, I’m Sakura , the one everyone wanted to be friend with…I know, I’m just that pretty and cool right? Don’t worry, I would love to be friend with anyone, heheh..”

LOL. Just LOL. What the? How can I date someone so shameless?

“YAH KKURA! HURRY UP BEFORE WE GOT CAUGHT!” Yena was screaming behind the mic.
“JUST DO IT FAST!” Yujin voice was also heard.

Those three were obviously at the rooftop. When did they escape to the studio?

“Okay, this is for Irene-sunabenim…or should I call you Irene-chan?”

Sakura paused for a while.

“This is my farewell song for you….Memory”
