They have a hearty BBQ party in the afternoon, spending the rest of the evening in their game room and some basketball on their outdoor court. And JongIn clears away his misunderstanding with his cousins before he gets hit in the head with a ball. They have some tea with macaroons that evening, made by Kyungsoo and Jimin clams that the macaroon are the one that made his mother all soft and mushy for Kyungsoo and the older omega denies it, but everyone knows that Taemin is weak for macaroons so there is no point in denying it. By dinner, Kyungsoo was already loved by every single being in the household. Even ever so stoic butler Jung smiles when Kyungsoo offers him some macaroons. They have a personal chef’s dinner followed by a bonfire in their garden. Everyone grabbed a cup of hot chocolate, holding some marshmallows against the fire, listening to Wonsik play a sweet melody on his guitar. Kyungsoo was sitting on the grass, a bit farther away from the fire, giggling at Yuno playing with the family dogs, Monggu, Jjanggu, and Jjangah. He had been running around the house for the whole day but he still has the energy to play around with those dogs. He sure is hyper.

“He sure is hyper, isn’t he??” JongIn says as if reading his mind while offering him a cup of hot chocolate and taking a seat beside him. Kyungsoo takes the cup, mumbling a small thank you and agreeing to JongIn with a smile and a small hum.

They stay in comfortable silence for a while until JongIn speaks.

“Oh, I haven’t introduced you properly to my family, have I?”

“JongIn-shi, I have spent a whole day with them, don’t you think it’s a bit too late for that??” Kyungsoo chuckles.

“But still, all you did was call them uncle and aunt, you don’t know which side they belong. Let me tell you. The one sitting in the farther corner is my Uncle Jinki and beside him is his wife Yoonah, Sungwoon is their son. He is my appa’s older brother and he has some serious problems with his sense of humor. And I think Junmyun hyung received a bit of that trait from my appa’s side.” JongIn looked a bit tired even at the thought of that and Kyungsoo couldn’t help but laugh.

“And beside him are my uncle Kibum and his wife Saehyun and to his right are my aunt Taeyeon and her husband Junghyun. My father doesn’t have any siblings. Those two are my father’s older cousins and they love him just like their own little brother.” JongIn smiles as he looks up to find Taeyeon ruffling his father’s hair as Minho tries his best to run away, but Kibum was there to catch him. Minho might be a ferocious alpha and one of the biggest business tycoons of the world, but he is still their little brother.

“My aunt Taeyeon is the oldest and Wonsik is hers while my Uncle Kibum is younger and Moongyu and Joohyun are his kids. That father and daughter alpha duo is a bit too sassy for my liking but I got to bear with it, Moongyu suffers every day so I should be able to handle it.”

“And the three old guys over there, the one in the middle is my grandfather Gongyoo, my father’s alpha dad, to his left is his mate, my grandpa Dongwook. On the right is my grandfather Taewon, my appa’s dad and my grandmother passed a long time ago due to cancer, so he stays with my father’s parents here. They were the ones who took care of me and Chanyeol along with grandparents Park. Ah...I shouldn’t have…” JongIn looked apologetic and Kyungsoo gives him a small smile.

“It’s ok, it’s time we talk freely about him, isn’t it?” Kyungsoo smiles, pulling his legs up and wrapping his hands around them, staring at distance and JongIn hesitates, but still continues.

“Chanyeol….and his family have always been part of our family reunions. Their mansion is right across the street. They have a vast garden as well. We always use to play around. One day in here, one day in there. But no one stays there right now. After everything that happened, Grandfather and Grandmother Park moved away to their country house in Jeju, officially writing away all the rights to the company to our family. All their shares, all their property, everything. Mrs. Park was obviously pissed off, but they gave away their California mansion to her and a few of their other properties in states to silence her. I heard she moved in there, along with Chanyeol’s sister and her American husband. Yoora Noona never really liked me, the same goes for her mother.
