The weekend for the most-awaited reunion arrived faster than Kyungsoo expected but ultimately, he still wasn’t ready. Kyungsoo had spent the last few days getting ready for this very day, more mentally than physically, but it was still hard. He couldn’t bring himself to sink in the idea of going to this so-called meet-up with JongIn. He was soo tempted to tell JongIn off for this reunion, but one small smile and the sparkle in his eyes whenever he rambles about his friends to Kyungsoo, it was enough to shut his mouth.

Kyungsoo slaps himself to snap out of his dilemma as he stares into the mirror, determined to get through with it. He had been dragging this in the solitary of his room for the past half an hour and JongIn had been patient with him all this while, not even a single knock to hurry him up. Kyungsoo was glad that JongIn seemed to understand his inner battle, giving him the time he needs and Kyungsoo is thankful for that. So this is the least he could do for him in return. Yes, this is nothing; it’s just as gathering with a bunch of friends so there is absolutely nothing to be worried about. Yes, people might know that he is married to Kim JongIn but he doesn’t mind. And also JongIn had been assuring him that he would bring him back home the moment he felt a tiny bit uncomfortable. One word and he is sure JongIn would do it. So no worries. Kyungsoo takes in a deep breath before he opens the door with a click, walking down the stairs to find JongIn sitting on the couch, his hands squeezing and shoulders tensed. Kyungsoo slowly walks up to him, his steps slow, clearing his throat to let JongIn acknowledge his presence. JongIn springs on his feet, turning back to face Kyungsoo, a bit anxious, a bit skeptical, biting his lips with a furrow marring his eyebrows. Once Kyungsoo catches his gaze, he slightly arches his brows, silently asking the alpha about his dubious behavior.

“So….You still going right??” JongIn sounded hesitant as if he is ready for Kyungsoo to say no any moment now.

Kyungsoo suddenly felt like an idiot. He wasn’t the only one having a mental breakdown all this while, JongIn had been worried too. He had been worried about Kyungsoo.

Soo sighs, giving JongIn the most sincere smile he can master up as he meets his eyes with a soft gaze.

“Of course I am coming JongIn-shi, why wouldn’t I ?? It’s already late. Let’s go!!” He assures the alpha.

He should have done this long ago but with his insecurities, he didn’t. But now, knowing how much JongIn cares about him, he got enough confidence to comfort the latter. He just hopes he sounded as cheerful as he wanted it to be.

And the answer he gets from JongIn was in the form of a wide smile. The taller visibly relaxes and his furrow disappears. He nods his head with a hum, grabbing onto his car's keys lying on the coffee table, and marches out of their house, Kyungsoo following right behind him.

The moment he steps into the ballroom, Kyungsoo gets engulfed in a bone-crushing hug from his best friend. It takes him a moment and the whiff of Black violets, pomegranate with a hit of Patchouli to realize that the one assaulting his bones was none other than Oh Baekhyun. The puppy-faced omega pulls away, giving him his signature smile and Kyungsoo suddenly misses him. He had been holing himself in their house that he didn’t get a chance to meet his friends since that fateful day, so looking at him after soo long is making him emotional.

Baekhyun, as bubbly as he can be, is a complete nightmare for JongIn. He is really serious about his job. He doesn’t need people to think that just because he is the husband of CEO Mr. Oh and their Boss’s friend, he is going to be lazy. That determination came with a price. They had that typical office romance, sneaking kisses here and there, going on business trips together, and a whole lot more. It was as though their little world was complete with each other. That lasted until Sehun’s grandma caught them one day and hell broke loose. Sehun was born elite, his family having names for generations. While Baekhyun had nothing but a broken family and a studio apartment across the company. And according to her antiquated brain, Baek doesn’t reach her standards. So when the talk got out and Sehun’s grandmother made sure to show him hell, it became too suffocating for Baekhyun. He knew they were going to kick him out, so before they could get that chance, he voluntarily resigned from his job and broke everything with Sehun. JongIn was in search of a new secretary and he immediately took Baekhyun in, not just because the latter was his friend, but Baekhyun was completely worthy of that job. Though he was back on his feet, his broken heart was hard to repair. But exactly 64 days after that whole episode, Sehun was bragging into the conference hall of the Elyxion group, totally not giving a damn about the team meeting going on, and gets on his knees, proposing to his lover. And JongIn was fast enough to hold the fainting Baekhyun.

Turns out, Sehun’s parents were totally fine with Baek so they helped him fight his grandmother and sent her back to where she came from. So they had a peaceful wedding, no one trying to break them apart, just the two of them, together. And now, they have a 7 months old baby Youngho to prove their love for each other.

Once Baekhyun moves away, Kyungsoo misses the omega’s presence, but it was immediately replaced by another best friend. Taehyung smelled like cherry blossoms, Fuji apples, and butterfly lilies, soft and sweet. Kyungsoo can feel Tae’s Baby bump against his abdomen, making him realize once again, that damn, it had really been so long since he met these wonderful people of his.

Taehyung is a manhwa artist. He works exclusively on BL Manhwa’s and they are fairly popular. Though no one knows that he is the one behind those wonderful artworks, he is still happy with what he does. Taehyung had always wanted to become one, but he was very shy and had always doubted himself. Surprisingly, Jungkook, who was that student of the class, always getting good grades, athletic, intelligent, social, popular, and handsome was the one who encourage him to do what he like. Though the time Tae met Jungkook they both were only 9 years old and had no idea about their secondary genders, when Jungkook found him crying under a tree for getting bullied about his childish comic, tapping on his shoulder and telling him that his artwork was really good with that toothless bunny smile of his, Taehyung still found him handsome. And since then they had always been together.

Jungkook became flashy, domineering, and talkative alpha while Taehyung became docile, introverted, and quite omega. They were opposite to each other and everyone around them wondered how they even get along. But just like how opposite poles on a magnet attract to one another, they had always stayed together. And it was as natural as breathing when they fell for each other. Even during high school when they made new friends they never drifted apart, not until Tae left for Japan once graduated. He had so many emotions running in his head that moment, but when Tae looks up at him with a tiny smile and asks him to let him stay in his apartment till he find one for himself, he couldn’t say no. He let him in, but he gave the smaller a cold shoulder and Taehyung misinterprets it. He gives him a sad smile, apologizing for invading his space, and reluctantly pulls his carrier to the main door. That pulls off his trigger and the alpha bangs him against his closed door and asks why, why he had left him all of a sudden, why he hadn’t called or messaged him all this time, just why. And to his utter surprise, Taehyung tells him that he did, he did tell Jungkook that he wanted to go to Japan and learn professional Manhwa art but Kook doesn’t remember any of that. Then the omega reminds him once again that it was on their last date before he left, that he had told Jungkook about it.

Jungkook painfully remembers that their so-called dates after their graduating had always been in a Café, Tae rambling on and on and Jungkook paying more attention to his books. Jungkook realizes that Taehyung did tell him but he had been too ignorant about him. And when Taehyung tells him that he hadn’t called the alpha all this while because he was scared, he was scared that he will be running back into his arms if he ever listen to his voice and Jungkook feels like an . He took Taehyung for granted and now he understands his mistake. And from then on, their relationship changed drastically. They prioritized each other more than anything, told each other everything, no secrets hidden. Their wonderful relationship leads them to have a beautiful wedding, and now, Tae is already going to be a mom. Kyungsoo is glad that Tae got his one and only love tied to him forever and Jungkook has no complaints about that.
