Sanghyuk smiled softly as he watched Jisung laughing with Felix on the couch. He saw his brother smiling and couldn’t help but think back to their childhood. Jisung didn’t smile much back then, didn’t laugh often either. He was so quiet, didn’t like to draw attention to himself. Maybe it was because of how sad their dad was, how angry Sanghyuk always was.

But now……now it was so different.

Jisung was always happy now. He had so many friends now, people he trusted with everything he had. Sanghyuk couldn’t help but think that he’d made the right choice to become a ‘villain’ and bring Jisung with him.

His little brother had grown so much as a person because of it. He was now someone who refused to keep to himself, who refused to keep his head down when he saw something wrong. If he saw someone in need, he took it upon himself to try and help them. He was still careful, still mindful that not everyone could be trusted, but he didn’t let that get in the way of what he wanted.

Sanghyuk couldn’t be more proud. He knew that their parents would be just as proud of the man Jisung had become.
