Ha Neul’s POV
We’ve been looking for the four people along with Jong In for almost three days. By now it’s been a week since his parents were murdered and a week of me trying to help him out. “I can’t believe there’s nothing on the internet on them” I sighed laying my head on the table, staring right at Jong In, who had too seemed to give up by now. This is really so tiring though… I wish we could find a way to reach out to those people. “I have to think of something you know. Maybe if I go to the company and go through the files then yes but… I can’t even step there.” That’s it… we should go to the company. “Jong In, you’re a genius, how could I not think of this dammit.” I got and pulled Jong In with me. “We’re going to the company right now.” “What did you understand from the part I can’t step there Ha Neul? Was I not clear enough?” I smirked crossing my arms. “You can’t… but I can Jong In. Did you forget what my occupation is?” he raised an eyebrow and that’s when he got it. “A reporter can go there… asking maybe for protection and suddenly going around looking for four files. You’re a genius Ha Neul” Ok I didn’t think of going and asking for protection but that works as well. “We thought of this together. Now come on get dressed. Also wear the face mask I bought you yesterday!” I went straight to my room and wore my most formal attire. Once we were both done with our ‘cover’ we made up a story. I was going to act as a y reporter, who after releasing info on a serial killer to the police I’m being hunted down for that and I’m extremely scared for my life.
But I won’t give them my real name. So they can’t find me. “Come on Jong In” We went out from the house. A neighbor asked me one day who is the man that lived with me and I lied to her with such ease that if I tell her now that he’s actually a man framed for murder and not my fiancé it would be hard for her to not believe it. We entered my car and Jong In drove us to his company. It wasn’t as far as I thought I’d be.
I have to say it’s surprising how big this is, because now I can see why even the security company would agree to ruin the lives of five people. Money. By now I was already inside going to the receptionist. It was a lady looking just a bit older than me. “Goodmorning” I have this hidden talent where I can change my voice and keep it like that for a long time, and that’s what I did here.
