Ha Neul’s POV
“I’m still surprised you came” Kim Sang Woo parked his car right outside Jung Il Soo’s estate. The day I met him we made a deal. I’d help him take revenge and he’d give me the illegal obtained evidence he got by recording Jung Il Soo. “What other choice do I have? It’s the only way for me to save him…” by now Kim Sang Woo knew about my feelings towards Jong In, he asked me on our way here. I think that’s also why he’s being less sarcastic towards me. I told him that we really have it hard and that I wanted to save the man I love no matter what happens.
After all we’re both victims of a same man, Jung Il Soo… “True… anyway let’s go inside. That bastard is waiting for us” I took a deep breath and followed Kim Sang Woo’s footsteps. His back really reminded me of the Time Controller and that calmed me down a little bit. It reminded me of how I’d die and be led to a new life… a new freedom of sort but still a curse full of bad memories.
That’s how it would always happen. The moment I left my final breath the man would appear in front of me leading me from the darkness to a light and then memories that can’t be remembered at all. Me being born… All the memories from the past lives start to appear little by little until you’re fully able to take it all in. By now we were inside the extremely huge mansion. Some maids were standing around a single couch and that’s where Jung Il Soo was sitting. “Come on” Kim Sang Woo signed me to follow and so I did. We both sat in front of that despicable man.
He was of small built, graying hair but still dark enough but what stood out to me more was the missing finger he had on his left hand. “Hello Mr. Jung” Kim Sang Woo gave the man one of the fakest smiles I’ve ever seen. “This is my sister I’ve been talking about, Kim Joo Won” And that was the plan. Kim Sang Woo would introduce me to Jung Il Soo as his sister who seeks job, and after that I’d manage to obtain evidence to put him behind bars… and maybe stuff that would be able to ruin his whole life. “It’s nice to meet you Mr. Jung” I reached out my hand for a handshake but Jung Il Soo remained silent, studying me from head to toe. Something in that action makes me feel disgusted to my bones… “So this is your sister?” the man smirked and at last shook my hand. His touch was disgusting too and I felt really scared for some kind of reason. Maybe because I know exactly what he’s done to be who he is today… How I wish I was with Jong In right now… “Well you’re pretty for being related to him” another disgusting remark although this was meant to be a joke thrown to Kim Sang Woo. “So how old are you?” “I’m 23” I replied immediately showing off my ability to stay calm and focused despite feeling scared as . “My brother has told me so much about you Mr. Jung, he’s told me you’re an incredible man and being told all of this I was so curious to meet you” lies… I want to leave as far as possible, but the only thing that keeps me here is none other than Jong In. Maybe it was wrong of me to not tell him where I went and why I left but it’s be
