Ha Neul’s POV
“How do you know Jung Il Soo and of my intentions?” I was sitting on the couch while the man was just walking around me. If I didn’t know of that I’d say he’s planning to kill me, but I’m really not getting those kind of vibes. I had sent a message to Dong Woon before telling him of how Jong In is the one I’ve been looking for and how he should bring him to our house. I wanted it to be empty when I returned just in case. I never know when I’ll be followed. “I’m a reporter trying to help a friend who went through something horrible because of that man. Maybe more than one.” I looked at him straight at his eyes wanting to show him I was not a weak woman who was there for revenge or something. “A reporter” he scoffed “I actually really like your kind. Most of you heartless people who think of nothing but themselves, you’re just right to do a good job” “I’ll take that as a compliment” “You should.” He filled a glass of water and left it right in front of me. “Tell me now, what do you want?” I crossed my legs and took out my card giving it to him. He only glanced at it and just waited for my reply. “There’s this case, the whole country is aware of it so I don’t need to go into details but it’s the Kim Jong In case” he nodded his head “I have sources that tell me he is actually innocent and the one to blame is only Jung Il Soo” “Your sources were right” That I know, I’d trust Jong In even with my eyes closed when it came to such a thing. I know he’s not a murderer and nothing would change my opinion. “Do you want to know how it all happened and the reason behind all of this right?” “Not only that. I want to free him of all charges” “Oh I see… so you’re here to give justice to that man, how adorable” “I’m not a child Kim Sang Woo.” His irony is really annoying. If I have to count my age based on years I’ve lived by now I’d be 200 years old you damn bastard. I’m really starting to think this man is mocking me and he’s really not planning to help me one bit.
I got up and approached him, taking the glass of whisky on his hand and drinking it.
I don’t know what came over me but I was angry. “Just tell me if you can help me or not instead of wasting my time here” I gave him back the glass “And make sure you don’t drink that in front of your guest when you’ve given them water.” “I really like your guts” he put the glass on top of the table and sat down. I followed too and sat right in front of him. “I hate Jung Il Soo more than anyone in this world. So whatever you were planning to do to get the words out of me it’s going to be enough if he’s behind bars.” “So you’re going to help me, right?” he nodded his head. I got out my recor
