"Dad, why exactly are we here?" I asked my father as we pulled up to a house.

"There's something I need to take care off." He shut the car off and we both stepped out of the car. It was getting late but the moon gave plenty of light.

"And I needed to come because..."

My dad smiled at me. "You'll see."

I nodded, completely unsure of what was going on, but followed my dad to the house and let him knock. A middle aged lady answered the door and she smiled sweetly at us.

"Come in! Come in! My daughter's in the kitchen and will join us shortly."

I frowned. Please don't tell me this is another date...

The lady ushered us to some seats and gave us some tea. "What exactly did you want to show me?" She asked.

"More your dauther. She's adopted right?"

She nodded. "Should I call her?"

"No need." My father smiled. "Is it alright if Henry goes and gets her?" he looked at me.

I moved to stand and she pointed the direction I need to go.

~Your POV~

You flipped the pan and watched as the sizzling green beans settled back down and you repeated. You kept wondering who was coming tonight and why Ms. Lee was freaking out so much. *Must be important.*

"Just go back there." you heard Ms. Lee say.

"Thank you." you frowned. *That foice sounds familiar.

You turned around at the same time Henry walked in.

His eyes widened as did yours.

"Uh..." he started.

"What are you doing here?" He asked, looking around.

You chuckled. "I live here."

Henry frowned. "I think you should come with me."

"Why?" You asked and set the green beans off the stove top.

"Trust me."

You looked back at him and he offerred his hand. You hesinantly took it and let him lead you to everyone else.

Henry's father stood and greeted you. You nodded back.

"There's something I need to show you." He reached out for a camera.

"What, exactly?" You asked.

"Your parents."

I felt your hand go slack in mine. I looked at my father as he the camera and brought it to us. "Are these them?"

I watched you look and tears started to form in your eyes. I pulled you closer to me.

My dad sighed.

"Do you know what your parents did for a living?"

You shook your head. "I just knew that they worked overseas a lot."
