Et CeteraJeongyeon checks the time as she cooks breakfast.
“Mina,” Jeongyeon calls since no one has come down to eat breakfast yet.
“Oh see,” Mina excited exclaims.
“Mommy is calling us,” Mina says as she sits by her daughter’s bed-side.
“I don’t want to go,” Momo pouts and clings onto her blanket tightly.
“What you don’t want to eat the delicious food downstairs,” she jokes, though she knows what Momo means.
Mina sighs and thinks of ways to trick her daughter out of bed.
“I’m going to tickle you,” Mina says and wiggles her fingers.
But it only makes her daughter cling onto the blankets tighter.
“Don’t you want to make friends with all the other kids?” Mina asks.
“No,” Momo sleepily says and stares at her mom.
“You and mommy are my best friends,” Momo says and giggles.
Though she loves her daughter’s reply, she doesn’t know how else to convince her to get out of bed and ready for school.
“If you don’t want to go, then okay,” she helplessly adds. Mina the corner of her lips and looks at the time.
Yoo Jeongyeon plates breakfast and checks the time once more. Dashing up the stairs and straight to her daughter’s room, she wonders why the two are taking forever.
“We’re going to be late,” Jeongyeon informs and Mina shrugs and shakes her head.
“She doesn’t want to go,” Mina murmurs. Today’s the second day of kindergarten.
