Et CeteraMyoui Mina cries as her mom waves her goodbye. With her baby hands, she pulls at the steel gate, but with the little strength she has, it doesn’t open.
“It’s okay little one,” the pretty teacher says and reaches her hand out for Mina.
A tearful Mina shy’s away at the pretty stranger, scared for her life. After a minute, another pretty teacher comes with a lollipop.
“They’re so cute, but they’re always so scared on the first day of kindergarten,” the pretty teacher utters.
“Ah, lollipops do the trick,” the other pretty teacher says.
She waves it in front of Mina and she stops frowning at once. Taking the lollipop, she holds onto the new teachers hand and walks alongside her. The candy lures her in the classroom filled with other kids like her. And Mina’s eyes widen as she see’s kids running around and playing.
She wants to play too.
Mina doesn’t talk, but her eyes speak more than her lips as she scans around the room.
She doesn’t know what she wants to play. Her eyes scan past the door to a playground with more kids.
Forgetting all about her mom, Mina runs to the playground out back and runs around with the other little kids.
Like a baby bird, she feels happy and free. Mina runs up the steps and sits on the ledge, leaning forth she slides down the slide. She runs up the steps again and slides down the slide again. The quick rush as she goes down the slide is exciting and she laughs.
Mina runs to the swings, and waits until it’s her turn.
