Momo analyzes her scars. Every memory she has hurts, mentally. The pain she endured has allowed her to suppress her memories. It has changed who she is. The quietness creeps up on her and she has her episodes.

“Please don’t,” Momo quietly pleads as she closes her eyes, covering her head.

The quiet girl rolls off her bed, landing on the hard floor. Crawling to the corner for comfort she hugs herself.

And a moment of silence overwhelms her and everything is calm like the tides of an ocean.

Hirai tenses as she rocks in her quiet room. Isolated from the rest, she laughs and the sound of her laughter echoes. The voices in her head laugh with her and she mimics them.
