Myungsoo’s heart was not at work that day. He remembered the time Sungyeol left him. Sungjong thought he was caught in some situation…hmph…who would know his husband more than himself.

After reading the last letter by Sungyeol, Myungsoo could not sleep at all. He remembered the days when he left Chenle at Woohyun’s place and went to Sungyeol’s home, where he could not enter, the security guards pushed him off. His daily routine was to go to Genius and stay at the reception entire day in the hope to see Sungyeol at least once and ask for his reason of departure. But all his efforts went to vain, Sungyeol never showed up to office entire month. He overheard a gossip that Sungyeol was sent to Ireland for don’t know till when.

Seeing the condition Myungsoo was in, Sunggyu and Woohyun pitied him. They called him home one night.

After drinking some hot coffee, Myungsoo’s body showed little life.

“It’s okay Myungsoo, we are here for you.” Both of them hugged the fragile boy tightly making him sob harder in their arms.

A cry from small baby on the crib grabbed their attention.

“Myungsoo, if not about yourself, think about Chenle. Poor boy needs his parents’ attention the most at the moment. Now you have to fulfil the role of both his Daddy and Appa, you need to stay strong for your child.” Sunggyu suggested.

“Yes, Myungsoo. I know you love Sungyeol and we can’t understand his reason to leave you guys behind. From what I have known Sungyeol, he loves you both unconditionally. Maybe he is trapped is some situation. Let’s have our hope but you need to be there for Chenle, Myungsoo.” Woohyun told holding the crying baby in his hand.

Myungsoo took the baby in his arms, he looked so fragile. He felt sorry for his baby, he knew he was being selfish leaving him all this time but now it’s time to live for him.

From the next day, he started to take his responsibility as Chenle’s Daddy seriously. Taking care of him, feeding him, taking him to doctor and all. It was difficult for handling such small kid but Woohyun and Sunggyu helped a lot, which he is thankful for ever. Only when he started to carry on his life normally, did he check his email and saw the huge amount of 7 million in his account. He was totally taken aback and then checked his SMS. How did he miss such message! He checked the date and it was the day when Sungyeol left home. He was sure it was Sungyeol’s doing but he was reluctant to use it.

He saw another message from Sungyeol, “I love you Myungsoo. Please forgive me for everything I have done to hurt you. And please use this money to start up your own studio. Give lots of love from my side as well to Chenle. And please stay strong till one day I find my way back home.”

Tears were flowing nonstop, Myungsoo could not control it.  

He was sure Sungyeol was trapped in something and he felt utterly useless to be unable to do anything to reach to his love of life.

6 months later:

Myungsoo was woken up with the loud bang in the door. Not wanting Chenle to wake up, he rushed to open the door for whoever was behind it.

Without any greeting, Woohyun dashed forward into the room. Shoving the newspaper into the sleepy boy’s face, he asked, “Could you please explain this?”

Woohyun seemed annoyed for some reason, which is very rare knowing his character. Myungsoo took the newspaper and saw the highlight,
