Hoseok and Minhyuk are only getting closer.

Over the course of the next week, Hoseok tells Minhyuk more about Taehyung a little at times not ever mentioning his name or anything that might give Taehyung’s identity away. Hoseok doesn’t wanna ever risk Taehyung’s life or career or like that. Something like that can’t slip out and though Hoseok thinks Minhyuk is trustworthy he doesn’t think he can trust even Minhyuk with something like that.

“A trip to ing Bora Bora?” Minhyuk yells out during their shift. It’s a quiet afternoon but the few customers and their co-workers are now all looking at them.

“Yeah,” Hoseok says.

“God, your boyfriend must make a lot of ing bank,” Minhyuk says

"He is quite rich you can say,” Hoseok says.

“What does he even do to make that much?” Minhyuk asks as he wipes over the counter.

“He um well he has a rich dad,” Hoseok answers even though it's only part of the truth.

“Oh a spoilt brat then,” Minhyuk says.

“He isn’t spoiled,” Hoseok immediately defends him. “He is quite humble most of the times”

“It’s okay Hoseok you can talk about him,” Minhyuk says placing his hand on Hoseok’s shoulder. “It is part of moving on you know”

Hoseok nods as a customer shows up at the counter and Minhyuk leaves his side to take their order and Hoseok is left thinking about what Minhyuk just said.

Hoseok has never actually understood the sentiment of hating your ex after they leave you. Maybe since Minhyuk’s boyfriend cheated on him the hate just comes naturally to him. But Hoseok doesn’t think he can ever hate Taehyung for what he did to him. Not even if he tried. Sure, ghosting out was enough for some people to hate their ex but a voice back in his mind always tells Hoseok that there is more to Hoseok leaving him and announcing his marriage to Seungwan right that day, though that part isn’t quite as potent as the one that believes that Taehyung just played with him and left him when he had enough of it.

Either way, he could never bring himself to hate Taehyung.

He loves Taehyung too much for that.

“Who are you texting?” Yoongi asks.

Hoseok who is laughing looks up.

“Huh,”

“I asked who are you texting?” Yoongi repeats himself.

“Oh, I was texting Minhyuk,” Hoseok answers.

“That guy from the coffee shop?” Yoongi asks.

“Uh yeah, him,”

“You are laughing quite a bit,” Yoongi says.

“Minhyuk is very funny,” Hoseok says.

“I bet he is,”

“Huh,”

“Nothing,”

“I am actually quite nervous,” Minhyuk says checking his hair in the mirror of some store.

Hoseok pulls on his elbow to make him movie as this is the fourth time he had stopped to check himself.

“You are extremely likable you know that,” Hoseok says.

“Really, I get extremely annoying more,” Minhyuk says.

“Well, yeah you are annoying at times but you are still very likable most of the times,” Hoseok says.

“Hey,” Minhyuk says playfully punching Hoseok making him laugh.

“Come on now,” Hoseok says.

Hoseok is taking Minhyuk to see his friends. Yoongi had planned to grab some drinks with all of their friends on Saturday night he had casually let it drop that he would like to meet Minhyuk.

“Why do you wanna see, Minhyuk?” Hoseok had asked.

“He is your good friend,” Yoongi had said. “You should introduce him to us”

Hoseok didn’t think much of it until he told Minhyuk about it the next day during their shift.

“You wanna introduce me to your friends?” Minhyuk had asked quite surprised.

“Yeah sure,” Hoseok said. “Would you like to come?”

“Sure, I’d like to come,”

So, here they are walking to the bar while Minhyuk is worried about meeting Hoseok’s friends which Hoseok finds quite adorable and amusing.

“I get nervous meeting new people, you know,” Minhyuk says.

“I would have never guessed,” Hoseok says actually surprised. “You were always confident around me”

“Well, you were different,” Minhyuk says.

“How so?”

“I don’t know,”

They are finally in front of the bar and Hoseok enters while Minhyuk follows him. The bar is quite crowded but Hoseok manages to navigate through the crowd and finds everyone seated at a spot in the dark corner.

“Hoseok hyung’s here,” Jungkook says.

“You are so late,” Seokjin says as Hoseok sits down and Minhyuk sits down right next to him.

“Sorry, the shift got extended a bit,” Hoseok says.

“It’s fine,”

“Who’s this?” Namjoon asks.

“This is Minhyuk,” Hoseok says. “We work at the same coffee shop”

Hoseok introduces everyone to Minhyuk and everyone smiles at him and says Hello even Yoongi but he doesn’t really smile.

Jimin and Jungkook return with some drinks for everyone and after that, the atmosphere is considerably less awkward and everyone starts talking making sure that Minhyuk is a part of the conversation too. They ask him questions about his work, major and other stuff etc and Minhyuk answers cracking jokes here and there. From the looks of it at least everyone seems to like
