When Hoseok wakes up the next morning he remembers vividly about the night before how Taehyung had vaguely opened up to him only to return back to his usual behavior. They returned to the hotel where Taehyung ed him and proceeded to fall asleep.

Hoseok looks around and Taehyung is nowhere to be seen. Maybe he is in the shower Hoseok thinks when he notices a note on the bedside table.

Hoseok reaches over and picks it up to find a credit card under it.

‘Go shopping I’ll be back very soon x’

Hoseok is a little sad that Taehyung left already and he wasn’t very happy about exploring Bora Bora without Taehyung but he decides he shouldn’t waste his time locked in his hotel room.

Hoseok decides to shower and dresses in a loose shirt and shorts before heading out.

Hoseok explores the area around the hotel and there are so many beautiful things.

There is a T-shirt that he is sure Yoongi would love, the wood carving that Seokjin would treasure, caps that Jungkook wouldn’t mind wearing everyday…

Hoseok ends up buying a lot of stuff for all of his six friends and he has about three bags with a great difficulty.

He stops for breakfast at a local place and it’s so delicious and the environment is serene and quiet. Hoseok’s mind is at peace for once.

When Hoseok finishes his breakfast he takes a long walk back to the hotel and he has never been happier walking.

Hoseok reaches the hotel room and finds Taehyung has already returned.

“Hoseokie,” Taehyung says who is lying on his bed shirtless. “You’re back”

“Oh yeah,” Hoseok says.

“So, did you enjoy your time alone?”

“A lot this place is so beautiful and I bought so many things for my friends,” Hoseok says as he sits down on the bed and keeps the bags on the bed.

“Is this all you got?” Taehyung asks.

“Um yes,”

“You spend so little I sometimes feel like I am taking advantage of you,” Taehyung says with a laugh.

“I spent a lot today,” Hoseok defends himself.

“No my other sugar babies would not hesitate to drain my credit card,” Taehyung says.

Hoseok always feels this surge of jealousy when Taehyung casually mentions his other sugar babies. It’s stupid Hoseok knows.

“What?” Taehyung asks when Hoseok doesn’t say anything.

“Um, Taehyung do you mind telling me about your other sugar babies?” Hoseok asks expecting Taehyung to tell him to mind his business but Taehyung only chuckles.

“Why do you wanna know about them?”

“Just curious,” Hoseok says with a shrug.

“Well I’ve had three before you,”

“Oh,” Hoseok says trying to keep his voice neutral.

“Yeah, the first one was when I was 21,” Taehyung says. “His name was Junghyun”

“He was 18,” Taehyung continues. “A kid struggling through college you know the usual”

“He was quite amazing with the too very great actually,” Taehyung says with a small laugh.

“So, why did you let him go?” Hoseok asks.

“He um got attached to me…he wanted something more but I wasn’t looking anything beyond the so I had to let him go and it made me pretty sad but I moved on”

Hoseok tries hard to keep his expressions neutral. There is no place for love in Taehyung’s life. He knows if he ever expresses his love for Taehyung he would be dropped by Taehyung and he doesn’t want that. Even though he has to hide his feelings he would rather be with Taehyung as long as he could be.

“The second one?” Hoseok asks.

“Oh him,” Taehyung says. “This one’s funny he was a complete money no matter how much I gave him it was never enough and he would keep asking me for more and more money while offering mediocre and it was just not a good arrangement so I stopped seeing him, oh and he even stole from me which I later found out…so yeah”

“Wow,” Hoseok simply says.

“And what about the one after that?” Hoseok asks.

“This guy was the perfect deal honestly. He was great at everything though this one spent a lot of money too I didn’t mind because he was great at what he was doing and I was seeing him for over six months but one day he just told me this lifestyle wasn’t for him…it was a shame to see him go”

“Oh,”

“But just after three months, I met you,” Taehyung says. “And I am very glad I did because you are the best one so far”

“Hah liar,” Hoseok says.

“No, I am telling the truth,”

“How would I know?” Hoseok says. “For all, I know you could be saying the same thing to the others”

Taehyung pulls Hoseok towards him and caresses his face with the back of his hand.

“You are different from them,” Taehyung says.

“In what way?”

“It’s hard to explain,” Taehyung says.
