Sunflower Street, house number 65.

The place was a little bigger than he thought. A spacious garden was guarded by a rusty front gate, Chenle could even see the back garden, connected by a row of enchanting morning glories. The building itself looked quite ancient, but still new. It had a stiff, oak wood door, and a glass window peeked inside of the place. A huge sign was decorated with small flowers and kiddish doodle. 'Sunflower Garden', read his eyes.

What was Renjun doing at this place?

He could hear lively laughs of youngsters, skipping and playing around with the breezy wind. They had eye blinding smiles plastered on their lips as one of them swung on the creaking swing, which sounded more like an addicting melody to their ears.

But it all stopped when they saw Chenle opening the front gate. A little lassie with high pigtails raced inside before Chenle could even close the it back, leaving the other children clueless, blinking in confusion at the new comer.

Chenle could hear muffled shouts behind the door. He was about to ring the bell, but instead the voice from behind got louder and noisier, opening onto his face.

"Rena it's alright- Oh my gosh I am so sorry!"

Needing his nose from the hard hit of the door Chenle laughed, "It's alright, I'm good." He assured, fixing up his school uniform.

The guy in front of him was pretty handsome, sharp small eyes and hair as fierce as night. He did look a lot older than he was, but still looked very bubbly, cheeks puffy as he kept on apologising and bowing for forgiveness.

"I'm really sorry!" He spluttered. "I'm Kwon Soonyoung by the way, son of the care taker of this place." The boy pulled his hand away from rubbing his nape, asking Chenle for a small invitation.

Chenle shook it. "Zhong Chenle, I'm here to ask if Renjun's around?" 

He looked at the girl from before. She was hugging on to Soonyoung's leg, wrapping her small arms around his knees. While stuffing her face behind his knee cap, the little girl peered at him, looking afraid. 

"Oh Renjun, as in Huang Renjun?"

Chenle felt his chest bubble at the name, shaking his chin. 

"He's in one of the rooms inside, please do come in!" Prattled Soonyoung, pushing himself and the girl, Rena, aside.

Chenle lightly bowed and entered the place. He could see the small girl still looking petrified, but smiled at her. That made her simper, blushing behind Soonyoung's leg. 

Loud screams and ringing laughs echoed from the wide area inside. Three boys were playing chase, running over a little girl's well painted flower. Other kids, who looked older than the four, were huddling around, eating scrumptious cookies and gulping down a heavenly glass of milk. 

"Catch me if you can Sammy!"

"Sungwoon is too fast." Groaned the kid.

The little girl stood up, marching to the foreign looking child, snapping at him. He then ran for Soonyoung, forgetting about his game of chase.

"Soonyoung hyung! Yehana is going to kill me!"

He leaped beside Rena, clenching on to the caretaker son's right leg.

"Yehana, don't be mean." Scolded Soonyoung, carrying the little boy on his shoulder.

The female started throw her arms uncontrollably, glaring at Samuel, but then caught her deadly gazes on the newbie. 

"Samuel, go back to playing your little game-"

"Who's that hyung?" Samuel asked, lifting a finger at Chenle, who was smiling nervously by the door.

"That's Chenle," Soonyoung cleared, "he's here for Renjun." 

The kids gaped, innocent nods then followed. One of them, called Daniel, went up to his and shook his hand. He was quite shocked by the little guy's actions, but giggled never the less.  

"Are you Renjun's- um- boyfriend?" 

Stumbled by the sudden question, Chenle gagged on his saliva. He shot his look at the timid voice, finding a young girl. She was definitely Chinese, with her familiar accent and sharp appearance. Her hair draped down her rounded eyes, as she huddled in the small crowd.

 That made the other kids bomb weird questions about his relationship with Renjun, crossing over each other's words and curiosity. The boys also made silly dying sounds, clutching their bellies as they made disgusted throw up faces.

Soonyoung had to bottle up the childeren, shooing them away.

"But Renjun had told me about you," The girl, Kyulkyung, shuffled closer to Chenle, hand covered in greasy oil from the cookie. "You really are very handsome."

The caretaker's son had to laugh it off restlessly, pushing her away to her group of friends. Kyulkyung just squealed, before skipping for the cavernous back garden.

Apologizing for the kids eagerness, Soonyoung led him deeper into the place. Chenle couldn't help but feel the tension rising on his back, making his palm sweat constantly. He led him to one of the rooms by the kitchen.

"He's inside, just go in." 

With that, Soonyoung left to watch over the kids. They could do anything without supervision and it might not be the best to leave them alone.

Chenle couldn't open the door yet. He his left ear on the wooden surface, listening to the tender hums that echoed inside. Then grasping on to the rounded nob, he opened it, revealing the red head he determined to clarify. 

The of his blue blouse was all Renjun showed. But Chenle knew he had something in his arms. He was rocking it back and forth as he continued to hum the little lullaby. 

He sighed when the lullaby ended, "Oh Daehwi," Renjun cooed, leaning into the presence in his arms, "are you ever going to fall asleep."

The bundle Renjun had in his hands started to wriggle, and small squeaky laughs spread through out the room. Chenle couldn't help but smiled fondly at the sight of the other and the baby. He lowly chuckled. 

From the sudden sound, Renjun's body froze, but immediately turned around. Chenle watched as his small smile faded to a thin line, whispering a small hello.

Chenle greeted back and haltingly walked towards him.
