HE TRIED STAYING HAPPY, BUT HE COULDN'T HELP AND FROWN. The meddling nurses kept on pushing him out of the room, into other places that he wished he was never at. With them taking multiple X-rays of his injured back, it made him feel even more poorly. Renjun definitely knew, they were just doing their job and helping him. He had enough of it all though, he wanted to escape out of the hospital, run back home and cuddle with Junie. His little beagle pup. She now only has Chenle and Mr. Kim back at the house. He hated the feeling of missing his own amiable pet.

After his therapy, Renjun was greeted by his parents, as well as Mr. Zhong. The three grownups were gathered in the very corner, with a few gift bags lying around and scrumptious opened cake placed on the table. His mother pampered Renjun with blankets, as soon as he got off the wheel chair and sat down on the white bed sheets. He chuckled at her hassle and waved Mrs. Huang off. "I'm good mom, it's getting warmer anyway." The lad said.

Mr. Zhong turned to Renjun and shared a grin, "Hello Renjun." He said, leaning his elbows on to his thighs.

"Hi, Mr. Zhong." Renjun replied softly. His fingers were rambling with the sheets, while his back sweated. Chenle's father was someone he had to respect with all his heart, the man that allowed his father to collaborate together to make an even more successful company. The man that had just lost someone who played an important part to his life, his spouse, Mrs. Zhong. And the man who brought up and loved Chenle. Renjun smiled passionately and tucked his back, leaving a bold look, even though his body wasn't in a healthy condition.

"You alright?" He confronted, pulling his chair closer to the boy. Renjun spluttered a laugh.

"I'm perfectly fine!" Renjun blissfully said. "How have you been?"

His father's coworker gaggled, "Quite, exciting. I figured Chenle would be alone in the house you two shared, so I decided to stay there for the past few days. He didn't come home last night; he told me he was looking after you."

Renjun went quiet, "...did I ruin your time with him?"

The man gasped, "What, no! In fact Junie and I had a great movie night without him." He laughed, and the rest of the people in the room joined in with the giggle. Mr. Zhong heaved in a good amount of air and sighed, "Though I find it amazing, about how fond my son is when he talks about you."

The words struck Renjun abruptly, right from his toes to the very last strands of his bright red hair. His palms squeezed together, as his breath glitch in surprise. Renjun couldn't move his dried lips, and just kept his eyes on the man.

"It's true," Mr. Zhong carried on, "Chenle seemed so fixed but lively blabbering about you. As if he was under a...spell or some kind of mind control to praise you for every little thing. He's just so head over heels for you."

The man's ridiculous laugh hammered Renjun's to his spot, as his head shrunk into his shoulders. He bit inside of his mouth and nervously rubbed his lips together. Is Chenle really like that?

"Really," Cut in Mrs. Huang, "It's not a surprise that Renjun is exactly the same. Ever since around a year ago, he would just fluster while mumbling to us about him!" She said, they giggling hysterically.

Her husband laughed, "Then why don't they just get married now? I'm sure they both don't mind." He teased, rising his brows confidently.

Renjun was turning red, too much heat for his liking. His cheeks couldn't stop burning constantly, while he avoided eye contact with any of the parents. His father and mother was enough, but including Mr. Zhong? It was even more embarrassing.

The blaring snorts died out, as the atmosphere turned friendlier for Renjun's taste. Mr. Zhong glanced at his watch and fixed his tie. "I better get going soon." He said, getting up from his seat. "Sorry I couldn't get you anything Renjun. But there are some people that you'd love to see. Count this as a small present from me okay?"

Renjun widen his eyes, confused. Mr. Zhong opened the door and called out for a few names that Renjun couldn't make out from his muffled voice. When the door turned agape, to enter a few others, Renjun's heart couldn't help but turn mellow. He leaned forward and started to smile even wider, and his eyes in verge of releasing waterfalls.

There stood three guests, with jubilant but worried smiled plastered on their bright faces. Soonyoung greeted the injured boy, which startled Renjun a little. In the brunet's arms, there cradled a very special baby, Daehwi, the now eight month old baby he had been craving to see.

Samuel and Jihoon were there too, and the little boy couldn't help but run to the side of Renjun's bed. He buried his head on Renjun's lap, letting out small sobs. Renjun ached at the sight and followed him into small streams of tears.

"R-Renjunie hyung...why are you like this? Come back with us..." Samuel lifted his head from the sheets and stared at Renjun, with his leaking eyes that shimmered in tears. His chest pierced in deep pain, Renjun couldn't stand
