Park Jinyoung has never had an easy life. He worked for everything he has and learned from a very young age, life is anything but fair. However, that has never stopped him from being optimistic and from working hard. At the age of 6, Jinyoung lost both his parents in a car crash on his birthday. The Parks were going to the aquarium for Jinyoung's birthday, the younger loved the sea. A drunk truck driver swerved into the Park's car impaling the front part of the car, in the middle of country side road. Jinyoung heard his mom voice telling him to get his brother and get out of the car, he looked over at his mom and dad. His dad was impaled by the door of the car bleeding out, dead ‘on impact. Jinyoung's mom called, "Baby hurry get your brother and get out the car. Jinyoung remember me and your father love you and Bambam so much." "Umma, I can't leave you and appa" Jinyoung cried "Baby, you need to be strong for Bammie. Okay, it's alright me and appa will always be with you no matter what. Jinyoung just remember what I’ve always told you as long as you never give up hope and work hard, it will all be alright." Jinyoung's mom breath began to become irregular and soft, until it finally stopped. Jinyoung with tears running down his face look over to Bambam, who was unconcious in his car seat. Jinyoung remember his mom's words and wiped his face and unbuckle brother, and put a blanket over his brother’s face. The door was stuck so he had to kick in the window to get out. As he was kicking, the front of the car caught on fire. He began to kick harder the glass finally shattered enough to get out. He picked up Bambam and held him close to his body as he tried his best to climb out of the car. As he was climbing out he lost his balance and fell. The shattered glass embedding into his side and landing on his ankle.

The fire was growing and Jinyoung despite the pain in his side and in his ankle had to get away from the car. Jinyoung wrapped up Bambam with the blanket and tied the younger to his back and hobbled down the road. he got about 800 feet away before heard a loud explosion. Jinyoung looked back and let out one more tear before hardening his mind and hobbled down the road. He walked for about 2 hours before meeting a car on the road and told them what happened. The people in the car called for help and took the two boys to the hospital. Bambam was unharmed, but Jinyoung had a sprained ankle and cuts around his body. The police tried to find any other family for the boys, but neither of their parent family wanted anything to do with them ever since the Park family took in Bambam. They said they would take in Jinyoung only. Jinyoung wouldn't not leave his brother's side and so they were both sent to an orphanage. They only thing they found at the wreckage of the cars after the explosion was their parents wedding rings and box. The box contained a present for Jinyoung's birthday, it was his parents matching necklaces with a tidal wave pendant. They police gave Jinyoung the rings and the necklaces before taking them to the orphanage. They became Jinyoung's most treasured items and strength through the years. Jinyoung's grandparents tried to collect Jinyoung from the orphanage, but he refused to leave Bambam. The Park's families didn't want anything to do with Bambam they saw him as a cursed child and less of, being a foreign child. They resented the boy seeing as he almost caused Jinyoung's death when he was little. Jinyoung never saw it that way.

                Growing up in Busan the younger had always loved going to the beach with his parents. Bambam wasn't Jinyoung's blood brother and he knew that, but that never stop the boy from loving the younger as his own blood. The Parks were walking along the beach shoreline in Busan one day, Jinyoung was a 4-year-old at the time. When Jinyoung heard crying in the sea and saw a little hand reach out, he screamed for his parents but there were too far behind. Without thinking the 4-year-old jumped in the rough Busan sea and swam towards the little hand. Jinyoung was just learning how to swim and was by no means a well enough swimmer to swim in the sea, he definitely was not a good enough swimmer or strong enough to swim another to safety. However, Jinyoung was always taught to do the right thing and his morals were engrained in his bones. The Parks had not realize their son had jumped into the sea, they knew their son had known better than to attempt to swim in the sea. Jinyoung struggled swimming to the little hand, but never gave up no matter how many times the waves knocked, hard into him. The Parks noticed something in the water and realized it was Jinyoung, Mr. Park jumped into the sea. Regardless, of Mr. Park's attempt it was impossible to for him to reach Jinyoung, the currents kept knocking him back. Jinyoung was being swept into the current, but he still tried his hardest to reach the hand he saw. Luckily the current drag the hand in and knock it into Jinyoung. That's when Jinyoung realize that little hand belonged to a little person, a new born baby. That was all the little boy remembered before getting swept into a huge wave, Jinyoung did the only thing he could think of, he grabbed the newborn and held him close. The wave engulfed the two and crashed them hard into the shore. When Jinyoung woke up he saw bright light shining down on his face and was sore all over, he tried to speak but his throat felt dry and burned severely. His mom was by his side calling for his father, "Omo yeobo, come quick Jinyoungie woke up" Jinyoung heard shuffling until his dad came into sight. "Jinyoung ah, son how are you feeling?"  he heard his dad ask. However, all Jinyoung could think about was the little hand. Jinyoung throat burned as he struggles to speak, his mother stopped him from speaking "Baby you swallowed a lot of sea water rest your voice" but Jinyoung shook his head "hand.... baby.whaa??" Jinyoung struggled to form a proper sentence due the pain of speaking. However, his parents understood him and couldn't help be proud of their son despite his rash actions. After all they did teach him to help those in need even if it may be hard on himself to do so. "Don't worry the baby is fine, just rest up son." His day reassured him. A week later the police had informed the Park family that the baby was Thai and his mother had committed suicide with him to get away from her husband’s abusive family, they couldn't accept that she was Thai and made her life miserable and she didn't want her son to grown up with their hatred. The baby's father after losing his wife said he couldn’t' take care of his son because he wouldn’t leave his family just for his son. He gave the boy away to the police who were going to bring him to an orphanage because they couldn't find any more family for the baby. It was a miracle the boy survived, and the Parks were appalled that someone could do that to their own blood and took the baby in their family. All they knew that his name was Kunpimook and his mom maiden name was Bhuwakul, in order to honor his mother, the Park's registered him under their family as Kunpimook Bhuwakul Park. Though it was difficult for Jinyoung to pronounce so he called the younger Bambam. His parents were going to tell him that Bambam isn't really a name, but Jinyoung told them "but the Bambam in the cartoon is small and really strong, just like our Bambam. Didn't the police tell us it was a miracle he survived, it because he is strong. Right Bambam ah" Jinyoung said while turning to the baby and Bambam just giggled, happy with his nickname. The Parks just stared at their sons fondly and accepted Jinyoung name for the baby. In order to keep Bambam's root they had the whole family learn Thai and Jinyoung surprisingly picked it up quickly becoming fluent with just a year of learning. The school that taught Jinyoung suggested the Parks to have Jinyoung tested because his comprehension and ability to learn Thai so quickly was extraordinary. They took the schools advice and had him tested and he was label with a genius level IQ.

                However, junior wanted to help his parent take care of Bambam and refuse to take the classes offered to hone his intelligence. The Parks families blamed Bambam for holding back their "real" grandson's ability, plus his background was not up to their standards. They were upset with Jinyoung's parents for caring Bambam in general. However, the Park's didn't care they loved both their boys and were proud of Jinyoung's decisions and respected them. So they didn't care if their families approved. Unlike Bambam's birth father they cared about giving their boys a loving and happy life.

So when Jinyoung's grandparents came and only wanted Jinyoung, there was no way he was going, because despite him and Bambam not being blood brothers. Bambam was more of his family than those people who just wanted him for his brain. The boys’ parent's property was sold and added the trust fund money for them. However, the money was given to their guardians to keep until they were of age. However, seeing as they were orphans it stayed with their caseworker. In the orphanage it was tough for the boys growing up, Bambam being two years old was supposed to be in separate room with the other babies, but he refused to be with anyone, but Jinyoung. So the workers had to no choice, but to allow the boys to stay together. Jinyoung was the only one that could calm the baby down. As they grew up they were always together, Bambam followed his older brother like a little duckling. Much like their grandparents, those looking to adopt only wanted Jinyoung, everyone saw Bambam as less than because of his foreign background. Jinyoung refused and would make things extremely difficult no matter how many couples wanted to adopt him. He will never leave his little brother, even the kids made fun of Bambam and bullied him. During the years as they got older the bullying got worse. However, Bambam was never the one with bruises or cuts. Jinyoung acted as Bambam's shield and never allowed anyone to lay a finger on Bambam.

At first, when he would defend Bambam the bullies just walked away, but the other kids began to resent Jinyoung as well. Jinyoung would help out the workers with the younger kids and Bambam would follow his older brothers lead. The worker fell for the two boys’ helpfulness and sweet charm; they were the two favorite kids. The workers all loved Jinyoung seeing take care of Bambam and the other kids made him look so charming in their eyes. All the older kids resented the brothers because of their love for each other, because they didn't have that and Jinyoung was always the one everyone wanted to adopt. On top of that Jinyoung and Bambam were beautiful, their looks were envy by all the kids. Bambam was adorable and was baby face easy to fall for. While Jinyoung was just the epitome of beauty, he had godly looks. As the kids got older the jealousy towards the two grew more and more. The want to injure the brothers grew, but Jinyoung never hit them back he allowed them to hit him and he took the hits as long as Bambam was unscathed, he was fine. Jinyoung understood that they were only acting out because they were lonely and sad. If hitting Jinyoung helped them get out their anger, he would never hit them back. Over the years Jinyoung made sure he kept up studying and honing his intelligence knowing it was the only way to help him is brother in the long run. Bambam was no means the genius Jinyoung was, but he looked up to his brother so much and followed in his footstep, that it led him to being the top in his class, just like his brother. The years past and the brother grew older, they were now 17 and 13 years old. Now Bambam was no longer as passive as he used to be and gained confidence which helped make friend even with those in the orphanage.  However, that just made the bullies more upset.

 Especially, one particular bully who hurt the Jinyoung the most and spoke the most despicable things to Bambam, Jiho. Seeing Bambam having friends and even girls and boys confessing to the younger, upset Jiho. He hated that despite the brother’s situation they were always happy and he wanted to crush it, Everyone knew that Jinyoung never allowed anything to happen to Bambam and no one really never hated the two. They just need a relief to get out their anger, so they never really cared to hit Bambam seeing as Jinyoung allowed them to hit him. But Jiho wanted to hurt Bambam seeing how much Jinyoung love the boy, because no matter how much Jinyoung got hit he was never hurt enough or pained like Jiho was, so he was never satisfied like the others. So he took it upon himself to break the unspoken line, that no one ever crossed. One day while Jinyoung was at school getting something from his principal. Jiho and his gang took advantage of the rare sight of the two brothers being separated. Jiho and his gang corner Bambam in an alley way on his way back to the orphanage. "Well well well, if it isn't like Bambam, where is your prince Jinyoung." Jiho said taunting the younger. "Leave me alone Jiho." Bambam said trying to pass through him and his goons. "No, I don't think  I will. You know everyone is okay hitting Jinyoung and leaving you alone, but I am not. You are a piece of trash that will only drag down your brother. Jinyoung doesn't seem see that, but don't you feel shame for making him get hurt all the time. He is always hurt because of you and for what, someone who isn't his real brother" Bambam wanted to speak back, but he could find the words because deep down he always had those fears that he was only a burden to Jinyoung. "Oh look at the baby crying, that’s all he can do. No Jinyoung here to save you this time".

                Jiho and his gang started punch and kicking Bambam and all the younger could do was scream for help, yet no one would help as they passed. He began calling out for his brother in Thai, scream for Jinyoung, although he knew the older could not hear him. "HAHAHAHA, look at this little freak speaking in alien language “Jiho teased cruelly. Jinyoung was walking back to the orphanage when he heard screaming and followed it. He saw people staring into an alleyway, but doing nothing. That when Jinyoung heard the screaming and he recognized it, it was Bambam calling out for him in Thai. He ran through the people and saw Jiho and his crew beating on Bambam. "Yah! what do you think you’re doing?!?!?!?! STOP IT!" Jinyoung in the coldest voice it sent shivers down everyone present, Jiho crew step back intimidated. Jiho was scared of the face Jinyoung had on, no one has ever seen him mad and Jinyoung never yelled. Even Bambam was scared silent, he has never seen his brother so pissed. Despite his fear Jiho had to save face, and continued on hitting Bambam.

 But before he could even land a punch on the younger Jinyoung pulled him back and shove him down,  and stood in front of Bambam. "don’t just stand there, get him!" Jiho yelled as he lunged towards Bambam. Jinyoung snapped he never fought back because it never bothered him if he got hit. T Bambam was never to get hit and seeing the state his baby brother was in, made all patience and empathy he had for others snap. All he saw as red; he took down all six goons in 6 hits. Then Jiho continued to push his luck and Jinyoung took his hand and the next thing anyone heard was a snap. All you could hear was Jiho cry out in pain. The police finally came and they were all taken to the police station after visiting the hospital. They were all taken back to the orphanage and scolded, the head of the orphanage dismissed them all except for Jinyoung, "Jinyoung you have never hit anyone back before, you have never caused trouble. This isn't you." Jinyoung bowed his head " I am sorry; I didn't mean to hurt anyone. It just they wouldn't stop hurting Bambam, if it is me I could take it. But not Bambam." The head of the orphanage sighed, and thought how about how lucky these boys were to have each other and wished they had a better life than this. "okay Jinyoung, it your first time in trouble and you didn't intend to hurt anyone so you get a warning." " Thank you, Wooyoung hyung" Jinyoung said as he made his way to leave. "hold on wait a minute Jinyoung! Your principal called and told me about your scholarship offered by JYP Prep. He said you turned it down, Jinyoung that is an amazing opportunity for you and it will all be paid for and you will be given free housing. Why turn it down" "I know, I want to go but I can't leave Bambam". There was a pained gasp, Wooyoung and Jinyoung looked at each other and continued on with the conversation.

Bambam ran back to his and Jinyoung's room, "I am a such a burden for Jinyoung he only gets into trouble and hurt because of me" Bambam loudly and cried his eyes out. "Umma, Appa I wish I would have died with you!" "Don't you ever say that again" Jinyoung said coldly. Bambam turned and saw his hyung standing in the door glaring at him, "Hyung-g, I--I--" "Yah! promise me you'll never say that ever again" Jinyoung was giving no room for Bambam to say anything, but yes. "But, it's true hyung I am only a burden. It would have been better if I just Di--**SMACK**" Bambam stopped crying and held his cheek. Jinyoung slapped him, his hyung has never laid a hand on him ever, "Yah! Kunpimook don’t you ever speak like that again. Do you think Umma and Appa would have wanted that. I don't care what happens, I am your hyung and I will always protect you. You are never a burden, you are my baby brother and I love you so much. You give me strength and love. That’s all I can ever need, so don't you dare speak about yourself like that again" Jinyoung said with tears in his eyes. Bambam gasped "hyung I’m sorry, it’s just you get beat up because of me and have to give away opportunities for me" Bambam said with his head hung low in shame. Jinyoung picked up his face and looked him in the eyes, "I do everything by my choice, so you can’t take credit for it. Secondly, if you’re going to eavesdrop do it properly." Bambam blushed ‘Hy-yung i didn't mean to I jus--Wait what? what do you mean?" Bambam asked in confusion. Jinyoung chuckled "Well if you stuck around to till the end, you would know that..."

                "I figured you'd say that. So that's why I had a conversation with the head master of JYP Prep and here" "Huh? Wooyoung hyung what is this?" "Just open it Jinyoung". Jinyoung open the package it was a scholarship for him to JYP Prep, "Hyung I know. The principal already gave me--" "Yah! keeping looking" Jinyoung pouted and pick out the other paper package in the envelope and read it. Jinyoung's mouth fell open "hyung are you serious!" "Of course, I know you and Bambam are a package deal and I would never break you guys up, nor would I let give up your future. So I called the head master and he said he really wanted you as a student and that Bambam was also scholarship material you guys with your multiple language skills and grades, both deserve a scholarship and he said that he'd be honored to bend the rules and give out two scholarships" Jinyoung had tears in his eyes "Hyung! Thank you, thank you so much!!!" ran hugged Wooyoung. "Ani, if you want to thank me, you and Bambam go and make something good with your lives, I believe in you two" "Hyung. I'll miss you!" "I will miss you too! You were always my favorite". "wait! but hyung we are under age. We need a guardian to sign off." "Jinyoung you are 17 now and can legal be seen as an adult and seeing as you’re the only kin Bambam has you can accept guardian ship of him" "Hyung! really" "Yes, I've held on to this money your parents left for you two. It is quite a lot it should help you two out. $500,000.00" "Thank you, Hyung. but I can't accept it. The orphanage is about to close down because of little funding and so you keep the money" "What! No Jinyoung, your parents left this for you and Bambam!" "Yes, and they would agree with my decision. They always taught me to help other in need. Even if it will make things hard for me, because if I can help someone in need, it will make a difference. I am young and can get a job to support me and Bambam. The kids in the Orphanage don't have that luxury and if you refuse my help. I will refuse they scholarship hyung" Jinyoung said defiantly. Wooyoung sighed "There is no limit to that moral high ground of yours" Wooyoung said and shook his head "okay! Jinyoung we have ourselves a deal." "deal" and they smiled at each before hugging.

"So, we mean can stay here if you want Bambam seein---oofmmpph" Bambam tackled Jinyoung into a hug, "omg yes! hyung let's do it" Jinyoung smile and ruffled the younger hair. "ahhh btw, I'm sorry I should've ask you if you wanted to give away the money too. It is half yours" "No don’t even start hyung! Of course I agree with you. Wooyoung has always help us so, did this place. Even though we struggled. It kept us together and we need to payback our due for that" Bambam grinned "ahhh when did my baby grow up, and he grew so handsomely" Jinyoung smirked at Bambam, who blushed at the words. After a while the two settled in bed, "hey hyung" "Yes Bammie" "I know I’m big now, but can you sing to me" Bambam asked shyly, Jinyoung smiled at him and rubbed is back "of course baby"

Jinyoung felt Bambam back moving up and down rhythmically and his breath even out, and kissed his forehead "Night". Jinyoung pick the necklace around his neck with his mom and dad wedding rings attach to it and kissed it, "night mom, night dad. I'm going to take care of our Bammie" and he drifted to sleep with a smile.

I'm not sure if I should do a Mark background or Just start off with Jinyoung and Bambam's first day. Let me know what you want the next chapter to be. Im leaning towards their first day, but your opinion matters to me too. 

Sorry i've been gone for a while.
