-I don't know much about beast except their name and faces. BEAST still exist right? Don't get me wrong. It just that a lot of 1st and 2nd line idol disbanded like KARA, 2am, 4minutes-

Dongwoon sighed as he rested his forehead against the chilling window, shivering slightly once the freezing coldness touched his skin. It had been a long day. He was happy this time comeback for BEAST had given him a lot of spotlight but he couldn't deny that it was also tiring with all of the solo schedules lumping over his group schedule. Work and fame really the life out of him and he wanted nothing more than to rest with his family and met with his long missed friends...

          Friends... Key was also busy. Woohyun was in overseas. Jinwoon got his own problem to settle. Nicole too... And the others too... As his mind kept on rotating around the smiling faces of his friends, a smile stretched on his lips when he could imagine how easily meeting those precious friends of him would heal his tired mind and body.

           Maybe he could find any one of his friend to meet. Even if it was already late in the night, he was sure they won't mind. Scrolling over his contact list, he froze at one name. Mir. He hadn't heard from Mir for the longest time... Ever since Mir enlist into public service, the hyper boy had been quiet inside their 91-line group circle, and slowly erasing his own existence. And that made Dongwoon frowned.

            He didn't like that Mir was putting distant. Among 91-line, he treasured Mir as a friend a lot, not to mention how closely related both of their group was a few years ago. But... He understood... Mir had a hard time before. How could he not understand whe he, himself, too, had experienced it. The pain of losing your group member whom you regard as brother... How he wish those pain made Mir confided in him instead of pushing him and the other friends away.

              Inhaling deeply, he decided to call Mir, feeling his heart thumping a bit louder than before not knowing how to expect of Mir after years of not meeting. The snow started falling and Dongwoon casted his gaze out of the window. A soft smile playing on his lips and his heart calmed back down. He remembered how once when Mir and him were still close a few years ago, the MBLAQ maknae had called him in one unexpected night. Just like now. Late in the night, and snowing. Mir had called him and they had went out to the park near BEAST dorm just to play under the snow until Doojoon showed up with angry scowl, nagging at both of them and calling Seungho over to teach MBLAQ maknae and BEAST maknae some lesson since both the maknae hardly took him seriously. How precious those memories were and he wished the Mir now was still the Mir from before.

               Firmly standing on his decision, he dialed Mir's number, waiting impatiently as the endless ring from the other line echoed but the phone was thrown forward when the car he was riding on stopped abruptly, even Dongwoon himself almost got thrown from his seat.

               "What? What happened?" Dongwoon asked, sliding his body in between the two front seats and what he saw susprised him even more.

                Right in front of their car, the car headlight showered over a lone figure, a man, standing right in the middle of the road. Even with the man's long brown locks covering his face, Dongwoon was sure. It was Mir! What was Mir doing here? Late in the night, wearing only thin clothing over his figure letting the falling snow freeze him, melt against his skin.

               When he saw other people started gathering around the MBLAQ maknae, Dongwoon jumped out of the car, putting on his cap and grabbing his winter jacket on the way, ignoring his manager calling him from the driver seat. He ran towards Mir and wrapped his winter jacket around Mir's shivering figure, pulling until his friend was safe in his hold making sure to hide Mir's face in his chest from the prying eyes of the public.

               "Sorry, please make way. Excuse us." Dongwoon pushed a way through the crowd and pushed Mir into the car. Only using his eyes, he gestured for his manager to continue driving and warned the manager silently when the older man tried to ask about Mir who seemed so... Different... "Cheolyong-ah. What were you doing out there?" Dongwoon turned back to Mir, combing aside Mir's brown tresses to have clearer view on his friend. But he was taken aback at the empty holes inside Mir's orbs when Mir looked up to see him and he was scared at how different the way those eyes were looking at him that he even considered for a short moment that he might have got the wrong person after all and that this wasn't Mir, his best ever friend. "C-Cheolyong?" He called out the name hesitantly.

               Mir blinked slowly as he couldn't recognized this strange man in front of him until that man brought him into another warm hug. So warm... Just like Seungho... Just like GO... And without Mir realizing, his tears started falling and he sobbed weakly inside Dongwoon's arm. "Hyung... I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..." He whispered. "I didn't mean to hurt you... I'm so sorry..." He kept on mumbling out apologies, mind filled with the thought of Seungho and GO and how much he had hurt them not even acknowledging the one desperately holding on him to not let him shattered right now was Dongwoon and not his hyungs.

               Dongwoon frowned, his arms tightening around Mir's small figure and when he felt the warm tears seeping through his sweater, he tenderly on Mir's silky locks. What had happened to cause so much pain evident in his friend? This sight of Mir was breaking his heart, tearing his soul. Hearing those sobs made him wish he was deaf... And now that he saw the scars littered over Mir's wrist and knowing there probably more up there on Mir's sleeves covered arm made him wish he was blind...

              What had happened, my friend? What had happened when I wasn't there for you?
