Free Me III (Mir, GO)
MBLAQ drabbleLOL. I'm actually having fun writing these drabbles. I really hope you guys having fun reading them too even if they aren't that good
Blood was soaking his shirt, flowing out from in between fingers as his hands trying desperately to press on the wound and were pooling on his deathbed.
" you, GO! Why did you take that bullet for me? I didn't ing told you to!"
A smile crept up on GO's bloody lips. This was the first he saw Mir loosing his composure. A side he would have said adorable if he wasn't dying right now.
"It should have been me. Ani! You should have killed me when you got your chance before. Why do you have to spare me? Why do you have to make me care for you? Why do you have to protect me at the expense of your own life?" Tears started leaking from Mir's eyes. He should have been the one to die. He wanted to die. Not GO.
GO raised his shaky hand with remaining strength left in him and wiped the tears away. "I think, it's worth it." He said. "Death is not freedom. I-" GO coughed a bit. "I want you to promise me to treasure your life. W-will you?"
Mir shook his head, uncontrolled sobs escaped his lips. He supposed all emotions had already left him long ago since he chose the path of an assasin... No happiness. No sadness. Nothing. Not even fear.
However... Now, he couldn't help the fear instilling his being. Fear of losing the first and only person he started to care for after this whole time he spent being alone in the darkness. No family. No friend. No one he cared for. Not even he, himself.
"D-do you know why you wanted to die so bad?" GO asked, closing his eyes tiredly. He wanted to see Mir's face before he died but he had not enough strength left.
"Aniyo."
"It's because..." GO coughed a bit, blood spurted out of his mouth, drenching his already wet shirt with more blood.
"Don't speak!" Mir warned, pressing harder on the gunshot wound on GO's chest. "Just rest. It will be alright." Mir assured despite knowing what he was spouting was one heck of a lie. There was no way he could get help from hospital. They were wanted professional killers, both him and GO. The second GO's blood was registered in the hospital lab system, the alarm would be blaring and police would be in seconds on their tail.
GO chuckled softly. What a little liar Mir was but his heart fluttered all the same that Mir would lie just to comfort him. Ignoring Mir's warning, he continued, "It's because you're not living, you're just surviving. Live. Promise me. L-live." GO's voice trailed off and his head fall to the side, his chest stopped moving, his heart stopped beating.
Mir swallowed, feeling how dry his throat was as he hiccuped a bit from the crying. His whole blood froze as he stared down with wide horrified eyes on the unmoving body lying in front of him. "GO..." He called with a small voice. No response. "G-GO?" He called again, just as quiet as he didn't have the power to call out loud at this person's name.
Who the hell was he? Why the hell he come to care so much for this guy only to lose him in the end? He was fine by himself. He was fine alone, before. He was fine living in the darkness. But as he first saw the light GO had shown him, now, he was scared less of darkness. Yet, he was thrown again into that darkness.
Tell me, how can I stay alive?
