The twins sat in their respective armchairs, eyes cast in the burning fire of the little chimney.

They're posture was still, their fist were balled up, tension was running wild.

Their drinks were on the sides untouched and getting cold. They waited for the person they both called father to start speaking, wanting clarity on some facts.

Their mother was used to give nasty comments and threats and insults when irritated but her previous statement was something that left them baffled.

It wasn't something to just brush away as a light comment.

So, they stayed behind opting to find out the truth by themselves.

Their father rocket quietly on his on his rocking chair, he had a glass of fine whisky on his hands twirling it softly into the ice contemplating where he should start from.

“- I was already married when I met your mother…” he started

“- your biological mother” he continued.

“-She didn't know though and I didn't plan on telling her…well not immediately”

He paused

“- truth is your mother was struggling with depression she had wanted so bad to have her own children but unfortunately no matter how hard we tried... she always ended up having miscarriages...and that's...that's when your birth mother comes in her Name was Hyumee. She was young, she was healthy and really bubbly…”

He sighed.

“-she was the perfect surrogate for having you guys and also she was the perfect person with who I could de-stress with. Thing is one day I came back to her house drunk and we somehow ended up sleeping together. That caused you guys to come in to the world”

He paused and took a sip of his drink.

“- your mother was disappointed, I had cheated on her …we were supposed to go to the hospital for the insemination she had actually thought she was an official candidate, didn’t know I was lying till that day… She found out I had already gotten her pregnant. The problem is Hyumee fell for me, she wanted us to be together, she wanted me to leave your mother and I... I couldn't do that your mother
