Hoseok was pacing around his apartment nervously. The boys would be coming back anytime soon but he hadn’t prepared his speech yet.

It was time for him to make it right.

He wanted to amend the damage he inflicted on their relationship, he realized avoiding his boyfriends only caused harm. He should have talked to them, confided in them, he should have told them about his struggles and insecurities. It was a good thing that Jeonkook had been there to help him see his mistakes and given him the strength to acknowledge his wrong doings.

Even though the younger had told him to apologize by himself he agreed to help Hoseok with the process. That is why that morning the youngest he had woken up early dragging his other two hyungs who were clueless as ever and literally confused out for a shopping spree.

Jungkook had texted Hoseok informing him that they were on his way.

Hoseok quickly scanned he living, he had covered the entire floor with white tulips, the wall was decorated with pictures of them containing their most treasured memories. Their first date, the first time they officially became a couple and their first day moving in together. At the centre of the room was a glass table with a 4-layer chocolate and vanilla cream cake. With the words: I’m sorry <3 written in golden cursive. But that wasn’t all, Hoseok was actually fidgeting with two small boxes which he had hidden in the pocket of his tux.

Just as Hoseok was contemplating whether his effort was ridiculous the unlocking of the front door was heard next a familiar shuffling of feet was heard.

Hoseok smiled. The heavy and loud thud of shoes was Taehyung, the furious ping sound was Jungkook who loved to layer himself more than necessary, he hated being cold and he avoided it at all cost. The almost inaudible placing of shoes was Jimin. Jiminy had always been the most graceful out of the three. It was at that moment that hoseok felt his heart swell up in pride. He couldn’t believe someone like him could have such precious angels in his life. He felt blessed.

“- Hyuung we are back! Where are you” Said Jungkook

Hoseok took that as his cue. he cleared his throat, swallowing his nervousness up before replying

“Ah yes Welcome home guys erm…Jimin, taehyung c-could you helped me a bit I’m in the living room”
