Chapter two.

Minhyuk curses loudly when his alarm goes off, hand fiddling around until he finds his phone, the loud thing hidden under his pillow somewhere. 

The display shows 7:01am and mutters bitterly before leaving bed. 

When he had showered he had put on his Vetements sweater, his most precious belonging since it had costed $300. Minhyuk had almost cried when he left the store.

He had matched the orange sweater with a pair of black jeans and timberlands, looking himself in the mirror, winking: 

”Ooooh who are you handsome?”  

The one man conversation with his mirrored self had ended seconds later when his dad entered the room, stopping at the door when he noticed Minhyuk talking to himself. 

”Minhyuk…” He looked really weirded out, almost concerned ”your mom and I are going out for dinner tonight, so you’ll be alone the whole evening”

YES!!!! Minhyuk internally screamed. 

”Okay, see you tomorrow then” He said, putting his computer in his backpack. 

”Yeah, see you son” His dad said sternly and left. 

Kissing his mom on the cheek quickly before leaving the house on his longboard.

The 10 minute trip to school was fun, if you by fun mean almost running over a 10 year old, a 70 year old and also being centimeters from crashing into a street light. This day could only get better. 

The second he entered the school, Minhyuk was completely lost. 

It had hit him very recently that he wouldn’t know anyone, no teachers, students? He was all alone in the big school with only a his bag and a map. 

Five minutes late he stumbled through the door to classroom 54, catching his breath before collecting himself. Rubbing his neck with his sleeve, Minhyuk turned to the teacher who looks at him questionably. 

”And you are?”

”Minhyuk Lee…” Minhyuk said slowly, straightening his back. 

”Oh, the new student… Okay, welcome to my class, I’m Miss Park”

”Minhyuk” Minhyuk said smirking a little, and before she could continue he had found himself an empty seat.
