I woke up and went straight to KBS. Bo Gum had called me the ious week saying that he needed to discuss some important news with me. It would, apparently, change my career at KBS. I walked up to the normal booth that Bo Gum was usually found in. I saw him sitting in his desk, talking to someone on the phone.
"Yeah, she's supposed to be meeting me here soon... Uh-huh. Don't worry I'll ask her, but I can't be certain she'll say yes. She has a boyfriend and family back here, and she has school... Yes I know this is big... Alright, I'll tell her," he said to whoever was on the other line before handing up. He looked up and I gave him a smile.
"Hey sunbaenim!" I chirped, hoping that my nerves weren't showing. Whatever he was discussing on the phone sounded... Important.
"Hyeon! I'm glad that you came to talk to me!"
I sat down, "Well, this is my job, so it sort of required me to come," I joked.
He gave out a deep chuckle, "I suppose so," he quickly stopped laughing and looked at me seriously, "But what I really wanted to talk to you about..." he started.
I leaned to the edge of my seat to hear him better.
"Well, seeing as you have been doing very well here at the studios, and since you only are an intern here, it seems as other studios have been taking an interest into what you're doing to contribute here."
I raised a brow feeling confused, "Wait, what do you mean they have been taking an interest in what I've been doing?"
"It seems that since you've joined us, my time on Music Bank has been skyrocketing and has turned into one of the most popular programs on KBS, so whatever you're doing behind the scenes, it's been getting a lot of attention, and other places are starting to want that."
I scrunched my eyebrows, still a bit confused.
"It's good news, hun," Bo Gum said to me smiling.
I still looked at him dazed, "Oh... Well what does that have to do with my career?"
"Hyeon, some of the networks that have been taking interest in you are located in America."
I froze and felt my jaw drop. "Wait... You can't-- you can't be serious..." I mumbled
But Bo Gum’s eyes were twinkling and they didn't seem to be joking; instead, they seemed to be looking at me in awe, but he continued, "More specifically, MTV in Los Angeles have been listening in and they want you on their team." Chris looked at me sensing I still didn't quite understand what he was trying to tell me, "Hyeon, they want you to go to LA to work for them, as a job. Not like an intern like what you're doing here."
I held my breath. LA. They had a job for me in LA. I would be working in America. All of a sudden, my thoughts seemed to be flying from left to right.
What would happen to Jungkook? Or Jimin for the matter? Would I be able to leave Sora and Jia? And ajumma, how could I leave her; I was the only family she had left, and she was mine. Could I just leave school like this? This is what I wanted. To be a journalist, or I mean I guess an entertainment personality. And this was the answer to my dreams.
Bo Gum looked at me and he could see the confusion in my eyes, "It's okay Hyeon, I understand this is a big decision and you don't have to make it right now," he said and I calmed back down, "But, this offer is only going to be for one week, and if you don't answer by this week, I'm afraid they are going to back down and choose someone else," Bo Gum said sadly.
I nodded, and stood up from my seat, "Thank you, sunbaenim, but I will be needing some time to think about this." I explained as I walked towards the door, "I'll see you soon, sunbae!" I said with a wave as I walked out of the studio.
I looked at my watch. 3:00PM.
I took a deep breath and made my way to the bus stop. This was it. This was the time to meet with Jimin and Jungkook.

I reached Jimin and Jungkook's dorms at around 4:00PM, but once I got there, I spent almost half an hour pacing in front of the building debating on what I was going to say to both of them.
I felt my phone vibrate in my coat pocket and without checking the caller ID, I flipped my phone open and answered it. "Yobosayo?"
"Why are you just standing outside of the building? Come inside already, it has to be freezing out there!" Jimin said from the other end. I froze and looked up. I saw Jimin from one of the windows and his smiling face was looking down on me as he waved. I gave him a small wave back and started up the stairs to their floor.
Before I even had the chance to knock on the door, it swung open and a pair of arms wrapped around me, carrying me into the dorm. "I missed you so much, I'm so glad you're finally here," Jimin mumbled into my hair as he settled down onto the couch, placing me on his lap. He leaned forward into my lips, but I turned my head
