It was Thursday morning and Irene was forced to wake up as she had to go practice her new duet song, yes with Sunggyu. She dragged her feet reluctantly to the bathroom and took a quick shower. Once she done, she wore her navy blouse and a pair of ripped blue jeans, and then headed to the kitchen. There she saw Wendy, was on the phone talking to no other than Hoseok while preparing for breakfast. Wendy looked so happy ever since she dated Hoseok. Irene somehow envied Wendy’s and Hoseok’s relationship. They seemed to complement one another, and Hoseok was such a keeper. Although he was busy, never once in his moment that he forgot to text Wendy just to check his girlfriend’s condition.

Irene took a seat across Wendy, waiting for breakfast quietly while checked on her phone. There’s no message from Taehyung since last night. She sighed, kinda felt disappointed. Even Hoseok could call Wendy, why couldn’t him. But then, Irene shook her head, nah…they weren’t even dating. Taehyung didn’t have any obligation to text her. She quickly put her phone inside her bag.

After ten minutes, Wendy’s done talking and now putting a big plate of kimchi fried rice and also sausages on the table. “I’ll wake up the kids. You eat first, unnie,” she said and then left for the other members.

Irene didn’t feel like eating. She fiddled with her food quietly. She didn’t want to sing the duet song, to put it simply she just didn’t want to meet Sunggyu because she knew it was going to be very awkward. She wasn’t angry at him anymore, however she’s not that comfortable around him, not like she used to be.

Seulgi was the first to hit the dining room. She looked so sleepy and worn out. Of course, they practiced till dawn yesterday. “Unnie, good morning,” She greeted Irene, half awake half asleep.

Irene chuckled, “You are a mess Kangseul,”

Joy, Yeri, and Wendy then entered the dining room together. Different from Seulgi, the three of them seemed already wide awake and cheerful as usual. Joy sat next to Irene, had her phone on her hand, giving it to Irene.

“Unnie, your article, is up…” she said, sounded rather calm.

Irene grabbed the phone and started scanning the screen. There it was, a picture of Sunggyu and her in front of Café Noriter. It was when they were walking to the car. Sunggyu was in front of her, while she’s slightly behind. It was clearly her. She gulped, “And the reaction?” she asked, giving back the phone to Joy, didn’t bother to read the article and the comment section because she predicted it’d be a hot mess.

“Rather good. Some of Sunggyu sunbae’s fans even give their blessings if you two ever date.” Yeri butted in.

“There’s also a follow up article from our company, saying that you guys are working on a project that has yet revealed.” Wendy added. “The reactions are, far from what I’ve expected. They are waiting for the project excitedly, and yeah…like Yeri said, they even gave an OK for you two, and those coming from Inspirit,” she shrugged.

“Really?” Irene eyes widened.

Yeri nodded, “Unnie, you should read them by yourself that you will believe.” She handed her phone to Irene.

Irene then read the comments on one of the articles.
