Wendy and Irene were practically inseparable after that. Going on dates, holding hands any chance they got, sneaking kisses from each other, sleeping over at each other’s houses, and having little rendezvous’.

The 4 other girls couldn’t help but watch as the couple grew closer and closer. Joy put a hand over her cheek and looked at the couple smiling, even though they were both doing different tasks.

“Why are those two so diabetes inducing?” Joy asked no one in particular.

“Well, Seulgi unnie told me she did give Wannie a ‘loving’ pep talk. Seulgi should be a counselor. She could do wonders, considering she knocked some sense into her. Look at them now. They’re so lovestruck,” Yeri said and stopped to look at Wendy, who was going around asking if the customers were enjoying everything(though some customers seemed way too nervous or awestruck to even reply.)

“You think they’ll end up like how Wendy and Scumbag Oppa ended up?” Joy asked curiously.

“Mm...most likely not. I can’t imagine myself calling Irene ‘Scumbag Unnie.’ Plus, look at them! They’re so happy. Plus, it’s only been a few weeks since they’ve started dating. They’ll be fine,” Yeri replied.

As immature as she was, Yeri couldn’t help but feel content. She believed that Irene could help Wendy get over the pain her past loved ones caused. The other girls were always there for her, but Irene was different. She's different because Wendy fell in love with her.  

Yeri snapped back to reality and watched as some boys at a table secretly took pictures of Wendy with their phones.

Customers always walked in for coffee or some sort of sweet, but then they found themselves coming back for the gorgeous employees and the weirdly titled items the bakery sold.

“Dude, the girls at the local bakery are really hot.”

“Whoa, take me there sometime!”

“The girls at this one bakery are soooo pretty! Their looks are totally idol level. Plus, the stuff they make is pretty good.”

“Omo! Really?! Take me!”

Yeri smiled whenever she heard the talk. The employees of the bakery cafe had gotten a little ‘fanclub’ started by some high schoolers and middle schoolers. It was never Wendy’s intention to gain a ‘fanclub’ when she opened the bakery, although she knew the girls’ looks could draw attention.

“Dude, you realize we became total ulzzangs?” Yeri asked excitedly. Joy rolled her eyes.

“What do you mean ‘we’? You’re not included,” she retorted and earned a slap from Yeri.

“I’m prettier than you!” the younger girl yelled.

Joy clicked her tongue. “This is why you got bullied freshman year,” she said and immediately regretted it when she realized what she said.

Yeri frowned. She stayed silent and turned around to walk away. Joy stood behind the cash register, guilt ridden.

    Wendy chuckled at the boys sitting at a table trying to be sly about taking pictures.

“Babe, they’re taking pictures of you,” Irene said.

“And?” Wendy asked playfully.

“I don’t like it,” Irene huffed and crossed her arms with her eyebrows furrowed.
