CHAPTER 2:

Irene finished her espresso almost immediately, due to the fact that it was so good despite it being named 'Wendy's Tears.' The cinnamon roll was all gone and finished. Irene took this opportunity to observe the cafe-like bakery. the air inside smelled like a mix of coffee and chocolate. There were also stands that showcased the beautifully made sweets and bread. Everything seemed very welcoming with its sky blue walls and warm atmosphere.

Out of the corner of her eye, Irene saw Wendy, Joy, and Yeri walk over.

"Hello! I just wanted to check up on you since you just witnessed a civil war between these two. They would love to apologize to our war victim. Right guys?" Wendy asked, making the other two girls nod.

Irene looked at Yeri and Joy back and forth. Wendy arched an eyebrow.

"Well?"

Yeri and Joy both did a 90 degree bow, but their apology was strangely out of sync, as if they were racing to see who would apologize the fastest. "Okay guys, now get back to work," Wendy ordered and the two girls obeyed.

    Wendy sat down in a seat parallel to Irene's and exhaled.

"Those two argue over the most trivial things, so I hope you don't mind. The never ending insults also include swearing sometimes. I'm surprised no one has reported this place yet honestly," she said.

Irene smiled.

"Well, seeing as how you seem to hire only extremely attractive girls, I'm not entirely surprised
