I saw them off at the airport. They changed the flight time to avoid fans from crowding the airport. I hugged each of them one by one. Rapmon asked me to text him regularly to keep him updated, Suga, Jhope, Jimin, Jungkook told me to take care of myself, Jin told me to stay warm and call him often. V was being clingy and would not let go of me when I hugged him. “Taehyung-ah, you got a flight to take,” I patted him softly on his back. “I know, just a while more,” he whispered. It breaks my heart a little to see him so upset, he is always cheeky and cheery but he has not smiled all day, except in front of fans. “Promise you will text me, call me, video chat with me?” He looked at me with puppy eyes. “Yes, I promise I will keep in contact with you all, now go and catch your flight.”

For the next few weeks, I stayed at my grandparents’ house and we went walking, shopping, dining around in Beijing. My grandma will hold my hand tightly when we walked and my grandpa will make sure that we crossed the road safely as he acted as the traffic controller. They fed me up with delicious food and dressed me with thick padded jackets, scarf and gloves. It was almost like I was back to being a small kid. In their eyes, I am probably still a child to them. I stayed with them till the first day of Chinese New Year before flying back to New York.

BTS was busy with their Japan tour as they updated me when they were in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya. I missed the celebration of Jhope’s birthday but I still managed to ask Bona to send him Kimchi.

Jungkook: We got hugs from Rian too
Jin: Ya, I made you seaweed soup, so stop complaining

Jimin: That was cringey, my hands are curling
Me: Hahaha, suga oppa is cool
Jhope: To make up for it, Rian, call me oppa from now on
Me: Hobi, you are only one year older than me, does that matter?
Jhope: It does, call me Hobi oppa ♡ ♡ ♡
