[GD POV]

Seeing Hyorin’s face when GD put his arm around her had confirmed what he had been thinking since yesterday. He liked this girl and he didn’t care that they had just met, and he was pretty sure she felt the same. When they were together at the control panel about to start another track, he rolled next to her and smiled at her. (If she smiles back a sincere smile, I’m right.) And she did.

They finished recording 2 tracks by the time it was dark outside and even though the girls were still alittle awkward, it wasn’t as bad as before. 

[YOUR POV]

“Two more tracks and cut!”Teddy sighed with relief,”Yesssssss!”
“We have WINNER after this,”Kush* reminded,”Then we get a break.”
“Don’t they completely make their own music?”Bibi asked.
“Yeah, we just supervise for the most part.”Teddy nodded,”Normally it’s just the debut album we have control over. If it does well, we back off for the most part. Just help here and there.“
"Yes!"We’re almost done with the album!"Jiyeon cheered,"Then debut!”
“We still have one more MV to record though."Hyorin reminded,"After the other tracks.”

Teddy and Kush left and the girls were waiting for Minhyuk while GD was getting his stuff together to leave. Honestly he was hoping to have alone time with Hyorin again but it seemed like that wasn’t going to happen.

“Oh yeah, Minhyuk oppa said you’re getting the lead in it."Insook said to Hyorin.
"Me?"Hyorin asked surprised.
"Why are you surprised?"GD asked as he headed to the door,"You’re the leader, you tend to get the lead roll.”
“Hyorin unnie asked not to be the lead first or frequently."Seoun told,"She wanted the other members to get as much attention as her.” GD was impressed and looked at Hyorin. She just shrugged as if that was normal.
“Wait so does that mean it’s a drama MV?"Hyroin asked, finally catching on.
"Yeah."Jiyeon nodded,"But that reminds me, GD sunbae-nim.”
“Oh?"He replied.
"If Mino doesn’t work out do you want to be the male lead?"She asked. (Mino? Male Lead?)
"Yah,"Hyorin said,"He’s probably really busy or has personal stuff to do-”
Before he knew it he replied cooly,“Yeah, sure. But what’s going on with Mino?”
“Well they’re working on their comeback so they’re thinking about pulling him from the project."Insook explained,"And then they thought about BI or Bobbi but they’re in Japan for their concert so they won’t be back in time.”
“Only if you’re really up for it and YG president approves though."Bibi clarified.
"Call."GD agreed and through the corner of his eyes he saw Jiyeon raise her eyebrows and lower them at Hyorin multiple times, obviously implying she thought something was going on with them. He smiled,"You wouldn’t mind right Hyorin-ah?”

Hyorin looked at GD surprised and then glared at him. It was the first time he spoke so casually to her infront of the group, since she asked not too make it look like they were close already, but he chuckled a little with amusement.

“Of course not sunbae-nim."She replied trying to recover, but the other girls were already looking at her with curiosity. 
"Alright then,"He sighed satisfied,"I will see you all tomorrow again.. Rest well ok?”
“Yes sunbae."They bowed as he headed out the door.  

Today was a good day.

[YOUR POV]

"Yah, were you lying to us earlier?"Insook asked as soon as the door closed.
"No, I promise!"You said,"He’s just messing with you guys.”
“Why did you two end up staying here overnight then?"Soeun wondered.
"We were working on tracks."You sighed, getting frustrated at answering these questions again. 
"Why did he drop formalities with you though unnie?"Jiyeon continued the questions.
You sighed,"He decided we’re going to be working alot together on tracks and what not so he wanted to drop it.”
“Well that’s understandable."Insook noded,"But still, how can you not tell us you’re getting closer to him?”
“Because I’m trying to keep it strictly friendly work. I’m sorry."You apologized.
Bibi smiled her cute eye smile and replied,"It’s okay unnie, we understand. We’re just giving you a hard time.” 
The other girls laughed as they saw your irritated but relieved face and you said.“Yah. Do you know how bad I felt? I thought you guys hated me.”
“We will if something does happen and we’re not the first to know."Jiyeon grinned, as if that wasn’t a threat. You guys laughed and started talking when the door opened again.
"Alright kids,"Minhyuk said entering the room,"Let’s go, I’m ready for dinner.”
“Yesssss."Soeun cheered,"Let’s go!”

You guys decided to just eat street food and you and the members enjoyed eachothers company as the night went on. The next day came and you guys were once again in the studio. Things were going on swimmingly and you couldn’t help but smile a lot. Admittidly, working with GD made your day. As you guys were finishing up a track, and the girls went on a break, your phone went off. It was Mino. [Hello Hyorin~ I wanted to tell you before anyone else I got pulled from the project. TT TT]  After you read it, the hair on your neck stood up.

[GD POV]

Hyorin looked over at GD and GD asked curious,“What?”
“Ah, Mino got pulled from the project."She reported. 
"Oh that ."GD sighed as he leaned back in his chair,"I had stuff planned for tomorrow.”
“It’s okay,"She told,"Minhyuk oppa said if you don’t work out we can ask Taeyang or Top sunbae-nim instead.”
“Yah."GD snickered as he sat up straight and looked at her,"You know I was joking, I said last night I would do it.”
“I know, I was just going along with it."Hyorin teased,"We both know you want to be the male lead.”
Hearing that he felt his face get hot but then he huffed,“Wah, are you crazy? If anything we both know you want-”
“Yeah, I’m sure you love the attention you get."She laughed.
"Yah,"GD chuckled,"I guess it was a mistake getting to informal with you huh? Teasing oppa like this.”
“Maybe."She smiled,"But I’m not going to lie, it makes me happy.”
“Oh?"GD asked, suddenly off guard.
Hyorin looked at her reflection in the sound booth mirror and sighed,"Let’s not get all mushy and gushy but I have to say, it makes working easier. It was hard at first because we don’t know anyway and we got thrown into debuting so randomly. But being able to talk and joke with someone like this makes it less awkward.”

This was the first time he had seen an honest, mature side of Hyorin and he couldn’t help but feel touched. He suddenly felt that warm feeling and just smiled.

“Yah I was a trainee once too."He said,"It was like that for us too.”
“I know."She nodded looking back at him,"Just don’t forget my girls too. They’re big fans by the way.”
“Of course, just going to have to get used to them too, haha."He agreed.

They continued talking a bit more, started on the last track,  when Hyorins phone went off. She checked it and quickly texted back when the song came to a stop. As much as he didn’t want to admit, it bothered him a little everytime she got a text message. He guessed it was Mino and he had seen them together quite a bit already. GD knew they were long time friends but theres a line that seemed like it was about to be crossed.

After Hyorin put her phone away and started playing with the control board, GD cleared his throat,"So was that Mino?”
Hyorin, still listening to the beat of the song nodded as if it was nothing,“Yeah.”
“You guys are really close huh?"He continued.
She finally looked at him with a confused look on her face,"Yeah, I told you we’ve known eachother for a long time. He’s a dongsaeng I look after a lot.”
“I was honest with you about Kiko and I right?"GD asked frankly,"Are you and Mino in any type of relationship?”
She seemed caught off guard but answered with no problem,“Definitely not. He is like a brother to me.” He felt relieved. 
“Is this because you’ve seen us alone together?"She quickly guessed. He was caught.
"I mean it’s just happened a lot."He shrugged.
"Oppa, you’re probably with CL sunbae alone a lot and-"She started.
"Yeah and a lot of people thought we were dating."He reminded,"Hence the fandom of Skydragon.”
“Touche."Hyorin said.
"Touche indeed."He agreed.
There was a pause when she asked,"Has she been texting you?”
“Who?"GD asked confused,"CL? Yeah I mean-”
“No,"Hyorin interrupted,"Kiko-shi.” They just looked at eachother.
“No,"GD admitted,"Thankfully. I’m hoping she has finally let go of what we were.” … “Wait how did you know she has been texting me?”
Hyorin bit her lip in nervousness,”I sorta saw her name on Teddy oppas phone when he asked you to get her to quit. It was a phone call but I assumed shes been trying to text you. I’m sorry I never told you.”

GD did feel a little upset, not because of what she saw but because she didn’t tell him she knew. But he couldn’t blame her, he still hadn’t figured out how to tell her about the picture he sent to Kiko of them. This was probably the best chance he was going to get.

[YOUR POV]

GD sighed and handed you his phone cooly like the male lead in some drama. You took it but looked at him with a confused look. He looked back over at you and obviously could tell.

“Save your number in my phone.”He instructed, as if you should have known right away.
“I’m sorry, what?”You asked, as if you didn’t hear what he just said.
He smiled as if amused and he grabbed your phone off the control panel,”Fine let me do it for you babo-yah.” 

You suddenly felt that warmth and your cheeks get a little hot. That damn smile of his. After a dial GD’s phone started to vibrate in your hand and he switched your guys phones. 

After he saved your number he looked up at you and sighed,”Please hear me out.”

That didn’t sound good.
