[Your POV]

After GD’s announcement of you two dating, things were crazy. Fans were divided, although most were okay with you two dating and supported you, the news outlets were constantly posting about you two, and then people realized you were the girl at the airport with Kiko. They realized what  you both meant when you were talking. But the search engines had Big Bang, 24/7, Hyorin, and GD at the top for the several days and still going.

“Well we’re not dead so that’s good.”You shrugged as you and the members sat on the couch to watch a drama.
“You mean at least you and GD oppa are not dead.”Jiyeon corrected,”But at least both our fandoms still support us all.”
“I’m just wondering how you’re feeling about your first public date coming up.”Insook reminded.

It wasn’t really a ‘public’ date but now that you guys didn’t have to hide in disguise or go out at random times, you guys weren’t going to. After talking you guys were okay with going out as yourselves and whenever you wanted.

“I’m sure it will be fine.”You shrugged,”It’s not we’re purposely going to go out in stage clothes or make up to be easily noticed. Just casual. If the media sees us, they see us.”
“How is Mino taking all this?”Bibi asked,”And how about your shippers?”

Mino hasn’t talked to you since the concert and you didn’t expect him to. You know his feelings were hurt, even though you let him know that you wouldn’t and couldn’t be with him. You tried to apologize but you never get a message or call back, he even goes out of his way to avoid you at the company. As for the shippers, after Mino saved your life a new shipping fandom arose and pictures of you two at the airport put fuel to the fire. But when the news broke out about you and GD, all hell broke loose. They were upset that Mino risked his life for you and you ended up with someone else. Even going as far as to say that you picked GD only because he was more famous and made more money. It did make you cry once but you reminded yourself that you knew the truth.

“He won’t talk to me.”You sighed,”And as for the shippers, there’s nothing I can do about it. I’m not going to lead them on too, you know?”
“How is GD taking it?”Eunseo asked, eating some popcorn.
“Why wouldn’t he be okay?”Insook asked,”He’s the one who decided to make it public.”
“Right?”You laughed a bit,”But he’s loving it. He can be open and honest for once with a relationship, which he could never do it in the past.”
“But now you guys are on thin ice with YG-nim.”Jiyeon reminded.
You looked at her and squinted your eyes,”Gee, thanks.”

GD just happened to forget to ask YG’s permission to reveal your relationship. Obviously because YG would never agree to going public and things were kind of iffy.

“Well at least Kiko isn’t a problem anymore.”Eunseo remembered.
“Yeah, and if you guys don’t shut up we will have problems.”Jiyeon hissed as the drama intro started.

You guys as Bibi brought food over to the table and your night started.

[GD POV]

The next day GD was doing a photoshoot for Moonshot, for a new cheaper line for customers, and was in the zone when he spotted YG enter the studio. *Oh no.* YG had made it very clear that he was NOT okay with what GD did and they rarely talked to each other the past few weeks so he knew if YG was down here, GD was in trouble. The staff noticed and the photographer called a pause. They knew better, YG Ent. was their biggest client.

“Oh no, please,”YG smiled,”Continue as if I’m not here. Please.”

The staff looked at the photographer and nodded before they picked back up. GD looked at YG one last time and saw Hyorin walk in after. Suddenly he felt at ease. He knew something was up, but just seeing her made him feel a lot better. As the shoot continued GD watched discreetly as Hyorin took a seat next to YG on a couch in the back. She still kept a small gap between them, clearly uncomfortable. The shoot ended and GD made his way over them.

“Jiyoung-ah.”YG greeted nicely,”Take a seat.”
GD did as told and YG continued,”So you’re probably wondering why we are here.”
GD nodded.
“Well,”YG sighed,”Since you two decided to become public it has put a strain on us media control wise. Everyone asking who else is dating, saying I don’t know anything, and all these other things.”
GD and Hyorin looked at each other, they knew how much YG hated looking like a fool.
“So.”YG said,”We are going to do what we always do. Move on and laugh at the ridiculous. Understood?”
GD had to admit he didn’t know where YG was going with this.
“And we’re going to do that by having you two to promote the new Moonshot line together. As a couple.”He explained finally.
“What?”Hyorin gasped, caught off guard. 
YG laughed to himself and nodded,”It’s perfect. I should have thought of this as soon as the concert happened. A YG couple openly dating to promote for us. There have been other couples of course but they all wanted to date in private.”
GD watched Hyorin’s expression and it seemed concerned but she quickly nodded when YG looked at her.
“Yah, it will be great.”He reassured before he looked at GD,”Besides, that’s how you guys can repay me for that outburst at the concert.”
GD felt guilty and nodded as well.
“Great!”YG smiled,”I am going to go then and see you guys around. You will have couple schedules then from time to time, mostly photoshoots. No interviews.”
He then got up, Hyorin and GD both bowed, and YG left. GD and Hyorin looked at each other.
“Well this is different.”Hyorin laughed.
“Yeah.”GD agreed,”DId you even have any other schedules today?”
“Not that I can think of, I was wondering why there was nothing. Promotion is over but i thought practice at least.”She said.
GD’s face lit up,”Let’s have lunch then! We haven’t gone on a date during the day yet anyway.”
“I don’t know,”Hyorin sighed,”Should we be doing that so soon?”
“Wait- you’re the one who said you couldn’t wait to-”GD thought.
“I was kidding,”Hyorin smiled,”I’m excited!”
“GD-shi, Hyorin-shi!”The photographer called after speaking to GD’s manager and Minyuk,”Shall we start?”
“Yeh!”You both called and headed over.

The shoot was a lot more fun then he thought it would be, and GD actually kept a couple shots for himself. They had some photos together and as Hyorin got her solo shots done for the female items he couldn’t help but stare. He was so lucky to have a girlfriend in the same profession and to be able to work with her. He took out his phone and took a BTS picture of her when he decided he was going to post it on his official Instagram. His heartbeat sped up a bit. This was the first time he was going to post a picture of his girlfriend on his open instagram and he didn’t know how fans were going to react. On his private one is all his friends so obviously there was no harm there, but he wanted to be open with the public about Hyorin. They knew about her anyway. He quickly shook it off and posted the picture with the caption ‘Girl, I need a girl~<3′. And he was happy with it. Next thing he knew, his phone was blowing up. Likes and comments on Instagram, SNS, social media alerts from friends messaging him, and it just kept coming. He eventually put his phone on silent when he looked  up to see Hyorin had walked over.

“What’s that, hmm?”She asked as she grabbed his phone,”Putting it on silent as I walk over.”
Instagram was still open so she saw the post, and her eyes widened,”Yah! You posted this?! Are you crazy?!”
GD grabbed his phone and quickly kissed Hyorin’s forehead,”You’re so cute when you freak out.”
“Yah.”She said, clearly flustered as she checked around the room to see if anyone else was watching.
“Look it’s fine,”GD reassured with a smile,”We’re public now right?”
“Yeah but still,”She sighed unsure”…I just have to get used to it.”
“C’mon,”GD said as the photographer gave him thumbs up to leave,”Let’s go get something to eat. It will be better then.”

She nodded and they both put on their coats and headed to their vans. They decided just to take one and headed to a restaurant that Minhyuk had called in advance. When they pulled up and got out in the back, they were so relieved they called because paparazzi were everywhere taking photos or screaming and  security was there and holding them off. GD and Hyorin were led inside by the restaurant staff and once they were inside a private room they took a sigh of relief.

“Well that was fun.”Hyorin joked.
“Yeah,”GD sighed,”Not how I expected our first real date to go.”

They both laughed and GD couldn’t help but pull Hyorin into his arms,”I’m just happy we can be together.”
“Me too.”Hyorin sighed, wrapping her arms around him.

It was perfect.
