YOUR POV]

A week or so passed since the rumors about GD dating again we’re going around. People were so worried about you that it got to the point that you had to ask them to stop. 

“I’m fine, really. Please stop bringing it up, it just makes it worse.”You copied and pasted multiple times in different text and kakao threads. 

You were moving on with your life, you even recently started talking to Super Junior’s Eunhyuk. He was nothing like GD but he was nice and treated you very well. But what got you to try to start talking again was that he made you laugh. You needed it right now. But being the up front person you are, told him you needed time. Talking was enough for now. It was like any other day as you chatted with Eunseo walking out of a dance practice room when you both spotted GD walking in your direction. You ignored him and just kept talking to Eunseo, and like that you both walked passed each other like you never even met. You couldn’t help but steal a glance as he passed. Your heart started to hurt again. This was so hard.

[GD POV]

GD saw Hyorin look at him for a second through his peripheral vision and he couldn’t help but enter the closest room he could. Quickly, he closed the door behind him and leaned against it. Frustrated he put his head back and looked up at the ceiling. He was supposed to be moving on, he was dating Jooyeon now, but…he wanted to cry. He was trying but he knew deep down Jooyeon was just a rebound. A desperate attempt to get over Hyorin and feel better by the time he had to ship off. He was leaving in a week. He had to it up. Taking a deep breath, GD walked out of the room, and continued with his day. As he finished up some last minute paperwork in the office, stuff that needed to be settled before he left, he couldn’t help but feel some regret. He should have went after her. He wanted to be with her. But even if he couldn’t, they needed some closure. As he started to head downstairs he started to hear voices in the hallway, that’s when he realized to was 24/7.

“Yeah, she’s getting over him slowly.”He heard Jiyeon say,”She’s even talking to Eunhyuk-sunbaenim.” GD clenched his teeth but felt himself make a confused face. (Eunhyuk???)
“What?”Bibi gasped,”Wow. I hope he treats her well.”
“He does.”Insook reassured,”He knows this is a hard time for her. But she told him they were still just friends. She isn’t ready for dating yet, you know?”
“At least she set it straight I suppose.”Bibi agreed,”Poor Unnie. I wonder how she feels since GD is leaving for the Army soon too…”

GD heard their voices getting closer and he quickly got into an elevator that just arrived. He frantically pushed the close door button and thankfully they closed before the girls turned the corner. As he started to calm down, he started to think about Hyorin again. (So she won’t date anyone yet…) He partially felt guilty and jealous, making him irritated. They weren’t together anymore. He had no right to jealous. (Why am I like this?) He hated being so jealous. The elevator doors opened again and GD left the company. All day GD avoided thinking about Hyorin and went over to Jooyeon’s house to pick her up for a date. They had a good time but they were still new to dating so he just dropped her off after dinner before heading home. With Hyorin on his mind. (It’s for the best.)

[YOUR POV] 

The next week came and so did GD’s enlistment date. He had a small send off, only YG and close family/friends went, and apparently Jooyeon too. Of course she went in disguise dressed like staff, which you found out from GD’s stylist (you were friends with her), and you felt the unwanted jealousy seep into your mind. You should have been seeing him off. You should be by his side. But you ended it and that is the responsibility you took on when you broke up with him. 

“You okay?”Eunhyuk asked, snapping you out of your thoughts. You were out for dinner with him. 
“Yeah, sorry.”You smiled, hiding your sorrow behind it,”Just been so tired lately.”
“I bet, how’s the comeback going?”Eunhyuk went on, as he pulled out your chair for you.

You sat down and he scooted you forward a bit before taking his own seat. He was so considerate.

“Pretty well, thankfully. I was scared we wouldn’t do as well this time.”You admitted as he took his seat.
“Of course you guys do well.”Eunhyuk reassured,”I’ll be voting for you guys.”
“Thank you oppa.”You smiled genuinely. 

Then you started to feel guilty. You wanted to feel something real for Eunhyuk, but you were still not over GD. But maybe you could force yourself to. You had to do whatever it took to move on. And that’s how you ended up dating Eunhyuk for a year. Overtime you started to get over GD and appreciate Eunhyuk but in the back of your mind, and still in a hidden place in your heart, was GD. As much as you didn’t want to admit it. 

You were in the studio doing a V live doing a Q&A during a recording break when someone ran into the room.

“Unnie!!”Bibi gasped with a frantic face.
You quickly closed your V app, this seemed serious, and asked,”What, what happened?”
“Jiyoung Oppa!”Bibi huffed,”He got injured during a training exercise. They say he’s in critical condition-”

You didn’t know what else said, you ran out of the room, with your heart pounding. (Oppa wait for me!)
