No One’s POV

Jessica was sitting at the couch that was placed at the corner of their bedroom while watching her lover Sooyoung tucking their child Irene to sleep. Jessica smiled at the sight of Sooyoung singing lullaby to their 6 year old daughter who is currently hugging her blue duck plushy that was given by none other than Sooyoung, and her other hand holding onto Sooyoung’s finger.

Jessica remember the time when Irene came into the picture, she almost got a headache because Irene is just as the same as Sooyoung. Very talkative and asks a lot of questions. And with Sooyoung’s dorky attitude and stupidity in the house, it doesn’t make her part any better. Sooyoung has always been a kid lover to begin with but sometimes, she tends to get hyper and forgot that she is a parent

Flashback…

Sooyoung was tucking Irene to sleep while Jessica peeked from the outside of the bedroom

“Okay baby, you need to sleep okay?” Sooyoung kissed her forehead

“But Dada… I can’t sleep…”           

Sooyoung yawned and Jessica was staring apologetically from afar. Sooyoung just came back from a long day of work but insisted to play with Irene before that.

“But Dada is sleepy…” Sooyoung mumbled

“Irene is not sleepy yet…” Irene pouted

“Try counting sheep’s, honey”

“What color are they?” Irene asked

“Whatever color you want…”Sooyoung sighed

“How many are there?”

“Depends on you, Irene”

“Where are they going?”

“Just go to sleep you piece of-”

“SOOYOUNG!!”

Flashback end…

And that’s how she managed to stop Sooyoung from saying anything further. Yeap, Sooyoung lost it. She couldn’t blame Sooyoung because Irene can be one hell of a kid too. Not that she could think of but, Irene is like Sooyoung 2.0

Flashback…

“Honey, eat your veggies” Jessica told her daughter

“Why?”

“So you can be strong!” Jessica smiled

“Why?”

“So you can grow tall”

“Why?”

“You must eat it…”

“Why-”

“JUST EAT IT YOU GODDAMN-”

“JESSICA!!!!”

Flashback end…

Yeap, it didn’t work that well on her either. Had she thought, that if this is what God has planned for her - to live with crazy people - it is it just mere bad luck that she’s going through. First, there’s Sooyoung. Second, her friends slash members. Third, well, Irene. It did cross her mind that if they decided to adopt a dog, - or any pet for that matter - she doubts that the animal would be as lunatic as the people that she revolves around. She sighed. Remembering that she has to deal with all of this her whole life. God forbid having her at least a day to live a normal life with normal people. But she knew, living a normal life wouldn’t be normal without Sooyoung.

“Jess?”

Jessica raised her head upon the voice that called her, staring at her with concerned written all over her face. She stood up and slowly wrapped her arms around the latter’s waist which she did the same to Jessica

“You okay?” Sooyoung asked

“Hmm…”

“Are you sick?” Sooyoung cupped her face

“Nah… I’m good”

Jessica smiled before pecking Sooyoung on the lips

“Then why do you look so down?”

“Just, thinking of some stuffs”

“About what?”

“Irene, you, me, us…”

“And a pet…”

Sooyoung let out a nervous smile, hinting something to Jessica about having a pet in the house

“No pets” Jessica stated firmly

“Argh-”

“…yet”

“But…why…” Sooyoung pouted

“I can barely handle the both of you and now you expect me to handle another living thing?”

“Hey what was that supposed to mean!”

“It means, the both of you can get out of control”
