“It’s just that, can’t they provide any nutritious foods? It’s saddening”

Seohyun mumbled as she browsed through all the foods in the office’s refrigerator contemplating whether to have that soggy sandwich or that cold pasta with huge meatballs on top. Yuri frowned upon listening to Seohyun’s food rants

“Seo, it’s either you die or eat whatever it is in there. We’re all stuck in the office for god sake and the rain outside is not helping our situation at all” Jessica spoke

“She’s too meticulous about her health” Yuri rolled her eyes

“Just why the does the rain choose to pour down at times like this?!” Taeyeon said

“You’re off topic”

Jessica responded and fixed her office clothes before sipping her coffee slowly. She was rather pissed that she and her other 5 colleagues had to stay in the office to work overtime and when they’re almost done, the rain started to pour down heavily causing them to stay a bit longer than usual. Considering that their car was parked outside the main building. She, Yuri, Taeyeon and Seohyun were currently in the office’s pantry eating and the other two which are Sooyoung and Sunny were in the meeting room, to get strong wifi while waiting for the others who were in the pantry. It’s already 8.30 pm and she’s feeling rather tired and sleepy

“I’m just irritated. First that stupid boss gave us piles of works, and now this?” Taeyeon pointed outside the window

“Calm the down. You’re not the only one who’s pissed here. I mean look at Jessica, she’s sleepy. And you know what happens when people annoy her too much” Yuri replied

“Shut up Yul” Jessica said

“Pretty sure that if you whine one more time, she’s going to knock your brains out”

“Not as much as she wants to knock Sooyoung’s though. She’s been bothering Jessica since forever” Taeyeon chuckled

“She’s ing annoying” Jessica told them

“Chill out”

Taeyeon said and stood up approaching the youngest in the office who is still contemplating near the refrigerator. Taeyeon sighed and took two pasta out before shoving it up to Seohyun’s arms, receiving a pout in return.

“This is dinner so eat something heavier. Don’t bother the sandwich it’s going to taste like anyway” Taeyeon spoke

“But it’s not healthy” Seohyun sighed

“Seohyun, sometimes eating healthy doesn’t bring you any benefit at all” Jessica voiced out

“What do you mean, unnie?”

“A friend of mine, had a cousin who eats healthy for a living. Went all green, no carbs, took no salt, oil free food and then she died eventually”

Seohyun raised her brows

“Oh, why? Lack of carbs in body? ? Or….heart attack?”

“No, she got hit by a bus”

Seohyun was giving Jessica a weird look with Taeyeon and Yuri chuckling beside her

“……what’s your point unnie?”

“I’m saying that you’ll die eventually. Literally. Even if you’re a vegetarian, or do workouts, or trying to avoid oily foods, when someone shoots a gun in your head, you’d still die”

“Calm down Seo, Sica is not in her right mind right now” Taeyeon laughed

The four of them went out from the pantry and entered the meeting room where the shortest and the tallest among them all were at. They were eating happily and sharing foods which one another while waiting for the rain to ease down so they can go home as soon as possible. An hour passed, and the rain is still pouring hard with thunders and lightings could be visibly seen and it’s not making their life any easier.

“This is bull. I think we’ll end up sleeping in the office” Sunny spoke

“STOP SAYING CRAPS I AM NOT SLEEPING IN THIS PLACE” Sooyoung snapped

“Calm the down, Jesus” Yuri said

“There’s nothing fun to do here” Seohyun talked

“When is life ever fun anyway?”
