"im coming to pick you up" He said before ending the call.

He seemed more cheery than usual. 

My heart raced even though it was just a few second long phone call.

I quickly ran to my closet and thought of what to wear.

"didnt he say he liked this shirt?" i said to myself as i picked up the grey shirt that had white embroidery outlining the bottom of it. I put on my dark denims and grabbed my handbag as i heard the car honking from outside.

He's here!

I quickly fixed my hair and retouched my makeup before slipping into my shoes, and locking the door.

Once the door was locked, I turned around to see his bright smile through the car window.
