WARNING: It's kinda Angsty, but the ending is...kinda..low-key cute?^^

The driving time over to Park Bogeum’s apartment was not enough for Jungkook to get his mind together. He did know what to expect, which made him even more anxious than he already had been to begin with.

It seemed like all the worried feelings towards Taehyung he had been suppressing, were finally escaping all at once. In the car, he had snapped at his chauffeur to step on it and every time they’d stop at a red light he’d curse.

Park Bogeum had also given him his home telephone and told him to keep dialing just in case Taehyung answered.

Part of him thought that this was just one sick joke or prank the lilac male was playing on him and another part of him- the part of him that had heard rumors out Taehyung’s wild days, expected the worst.

However, he still didn’t understand why Park Bogeum had called him specifically to handle such a situation when the lilac male clearly had other more qualified friends to stand by his side. His ex was one for instance; Jungkook was sure that Wheein would jump at every chance she got to be with the lilac male at the moment- if her constant visits at the Jeon’s mansion had not been evident in the last few days.

This was what brought the younger boy to keep his cool; - he swears he was totally calm during the ride in the elevator to the seventh floor at the actor’s apartment building and did not skip on the spot to calm down- because a part of him still held onto the hope that Taehyung was just messing with him.

But when he’d finally gotten to the elder boy’s apartment, he’d found two men standing outside the door; both dressed in suits, except that one, the much older man was carrying a briefcase and his slacks didn’t seem to match his coat’s color. Jungkook assumed that he was the doctor Park Bogeum had mentioned. The other man, much younger, he was maybe in his twenties, was dressed in all black from head to toe, head held high and gaze straight ahead as if looking out for someone or something.

Jungkook had seen the man once at the Kims house, he was one of their securities, but the younger didn’t have enough time to ponder why he was now there. The minute the two men noticed his presence, both of their gazes snapped at him; the doctor looking almost hopeful…why? And the security guy as well, but his expression shifted back to nonchalance immediately.

“Ah...finally!” The older man said approaching the younger boy.

Jungkook had bowed in greeting and shaken the hand of the elder man not sure what to do or say and then bowed slightly at the security guy who also bowed back, and went back to staring at the front.

“I’m Jeon Jung-“he began.

“I know who you are and I assumed you know who I am. Quick we may not have enough time, open the door and we’ll chat later.” The man urged fondly.

Jungkook nodded and blinked. He knew the passcode to the apartment. The actor had sent him the instructions to his apartment together with his passcode to let the young heir and the man, who Jungkook assumed was the doctor inside.

“I don’t understand…have you tried ringing the-“he began to say and was cut off again.

“It’s complicated and not my place to explain. Jungkook-shi, I need you to open up that door, Taehyung needs you to open up the door, his life may depend on it.” He was no longer fond or friendly.

Jungkook’s heart started picking up again. He looked to his side and saw the security guy eyeing him sideways and he took a deep breath to calm himself up. Nothing was wrong with Taehyung; this was all just a joke.

And to prove that, he approached the door, raised his hand and inserted the passcode into the keypad; seconds later, the door buzzed and opened a fraction.

He did not look back at the two men, but pushed the door wider and entered the dark apartment. It should have felt weird entering a stranger’s home while they were not there, but it somehow didn’t.

The younger boy stood in the foyer, vision unable to take in anything in the dark except for deem light illuminating down the hall in one of the rooms.

“Kim Taehyung?!” The doctor was right next to him calling for the lilac male, scaring Jungkook because he had actually forgotten about him the minute that door had opened.

Jungkook was glad that it was dark in the room and the doctor couldn’t see his expression, but then the lights were and the doctor spoke to him or yelled at him over the loud music in the apartment.

Jungkook didn’t know why he had not noticed the loud music playing throughout the room and loud at that only then. It was impossible not to hear, but he had somehow managed to blend it out.

The doctor was looking at him expectantly and the young heir knew that he had missed something the man had said. But he took a deep breath and held his head high, it was not his fault that this place was as loud as a nightclub, the doctor must be crazy expecting him to have ninja hearings or some .

When he didn’t respond, the man sighed, turned his head away from the younger and walked forward, Jungkook noted that he had taken his shoes off and the younger proceeded to throw off his shoes and follow the elder man.

The man strolled to the other side of the room- which happened to be the living room, stopped in front of a small display and fumbled around until the music died down.

So he was a regular here?

“It’s been a while since I was here, I had memorized the right buttons, but he seemed to have changed his stereos.” The man joked and laughed at his own joke, but the only response he got back was a grimace from the younger boy.

He cleared his voice and fixed his tie while looking around the living room, and then he spoke again.

“I’ll check down here for Taehyung-shi and can you check upstairs, Jungkook-shi? “He pointed to the set of stairs on the side that led to the second floor, which the younger boy had not noticed before.

This doctor was not only a regular but also a magician; he kept making things that were not there, in the beginning, appear out of nowhere.

He didn’t wait for Jungkook to answer after that, and just turned around and walked down the hall, disappearing into the first room.

Jungkook felt like he was in some very bizarre movie; not only was he in a stranger’s home at almost two in the morning but with a man he did not know at all. A man who could turn out to be a psychopath or a e, but who was worrying?

He was clearly not in his right mind, because if he had been, then he would have called the lilac male’s parents or at least his manager to play whatever role the young heir was supposed to be playing tonight, but just like the fool he had become ever since he married Kim Taehyung he’d decided to climb up the stairs and face his most probably end.

Goodbye, world.

Flashback

Mi Yeon’s plan had worked. It had not gone as smooth as it had sounded, but the two girls had not expected otherwise.

Kim Sanghoon had been out of his mind when he’d learned that Mi Yeon was expecting. He’d blamed himself for the mishap and suggested to take the full blame when they told their parents of the news. Although given, it had taken him a few days after Mi Yeon had bared him the news and shown him the well-attained doctor reports to come around, but he had asked for her hand at the end.

And it should have been weird that the first person he’d gone to was his fiancée, but he could not think of anyone who he wanted to speak to other than Eun Soo. She had not welcomed him with open arms but had let him into her apartment, nevertheless. Eun Soo had not yelled at him for being stupid and reckless and neither had she called him the villain in all of this, but she had held him and listened to him the whole night.

When morning had rolled in, she’d made breakfast and drawn out the few options he and Mi Yeon had, but he had only had one in thought and that was to marry her. Sanghoon wanted to keep their child; he was willing to go against his family to marry Mi Yeon.

Eun Soo had promised to stand behind them later when war broke lose.

The story was to tell Mi Yeon’s parents that it had happened in a moment of weakness when both of them had been intoxicated, but Sanghoon had confessed his love for their daughter and admitted taking advantage of her innocence. Though it didn’t matter what he said, he had a reputation; every sane parent would want their daughter away from him.

Granted, Mi Yeon’s parents were not ecstatic about the news; her mother had even broken the tea set on the dining table. Sanghoon was sure that her father was ready to butcher him if not for the fact that his daughter had threatened to kill herself if he laid a hand on the father of her unborn child.

Without any much choice and Mi Yeon’s pleading to forgive her and Sanghoon’s recklessness, they’d regrettably agreed to meet up with Sanghoon’s parents to discuss the matter.

Letting their daughter go back to the city with Sanghoon had been another fight, but they had managed to somehow slip away while her parents were arguing and the latter had driven Mi Yeon back to the city to Eun Soo’s apartment- just in case her parents were planning on kidnapping her, - and then he’d gone to face his parents alone.

Had there been more yelling and more broken things at the Kim’s mansion? – The answer is yes. The Hong family might have been more emotional and upset of the fact that their only daughter had been seduced and allured by Sanghoon, but the latter’s parents had looked at him with disappointment.

His mother could not look at him and his father threatened to disown him and donate his shares to the public. He had not only ruined their family’s reputation but of two other household’s as well.

But even after this, he had still held onto his promise to Mi Yeon. He was going to marry her no matter what; he was not going to make her get an abortion and nor was he going have an illegitimate child with her. That was the worst thing he could do; he’d started the fire and now he had to keep it at bay.

Did this earn him some beatings from his father? – Yes, it did. But Sanghoon had always been a mother’s child and although she had been the most upset out of his parents, she had taken his side.

His mother could not promise him much, but she was going to do whatever she could to solve the bad blood that was going to occur once Eun Soo’s parent’s heard the news.

Whatever Eun Soo had told her parents had seemed to do the trick, because they had not been as fired up as everyone had expected. They could have cut their ties with both the Kims and Hongs, but they didn’t. Instead, Eun Soo’s parents had unexpectedly come up with a plan to salvage their reputations and help them all save face.

The marriage promise between the Go and Kim family was annulled with mutual agreement from both families, then a new marriage union between the Kims and Hongs was formed because the families realized that their children had fallen in love and they could not stand in the way of their children’s happiness.

For the public, the three households had to pretend to still be in good terms with each other, so that rumors don’t spread, not too much that was.

Sanghoon and Mi Yeon’s wedding took place very soon and after two weeks into the marriage, Mi Yeon mentioned to Sanghoon about leaving for overseas and giving birth there. Due to the guilt, he felt towards her, he’d agreed without suspicion and promised her that everything will have settled down when she came back with their child.

Eun soo had promised to go with her and take care of Mi Yeon, so he was not worried so much. What worried him the most was Mi Yeon coming back to Korea and not having a home to return to with their child; her parents had cut her off after the wedding and his parents had cut him off after, - only agreeing to pay for his apartment and tuition-, he’d argued with them about Mi Yeon living with him in their own apartment and then afterwards about her giving birth outside the country.

If they were going to make their own decisions then they might as well try to build their life on their own roots.

What he didn’t know was that Mi Yeon had been buying stocks and investing in some businesses since she was fifteen and had saved up a fortune, enough to make her a Co-CEO of one of the biggest entertainment companies in Korea.

Eun Soo and Mi Yeon left Korea together. He’d promised to call every day, but international calls were a and his father had gotten him a part-time job at one of his acquaintances companies so he could pay for his basic needs and have money to send to his wife and unborn child, so he was mostly tired every day and he’d end up forgetting to call and only managed to call two or three times a week.

Eun Soo finally cracked. A few months before she was due, she called Jeon Jaehwa, disregarding the time difference, waking the latter up in the middle of the night to a phone call of her crying on the other line.

It was the first time he’d heard her voice in over six months. After that day in his apartment, he’d met her once again before Sanghoon and Mi Yeon’s wedding and she had broken up with him officially.

She’d still asked to be friends in the future and keep in touch w

Chapter 29: wow...finally an update...really nice...

now i know what happened in china...even i will have a nightmares and will do anything to forget...what he witnessed is not something nice...it was horrible...and unfortunately...thus kind of trafficking really happens in real life...heart breaking...but at least kookie was there to listen and comfort him...it was not his fault...nothing is and he needed someone to tell him that...and that is what kookie did...what a good husband...

and yeah...this is all new to kookie...he knows for sometime that he likes guys too but he only had a relationship with a girl and have with a girl and not a guy...so he really doesn't know how to act and all that...but i like it whenever he manhandles taetae...shows how dominant and possessive he is...also i like it how tae submits to him...their relationship right now is very domestic...nothing forced...they are learning and both of them are opening up to each other...

I remember tae admitting that he likes kookie before and is looking for a way to be close...(if my memory serves me right...he admitted it and kookie also admitted to himself that he likes tae)...

as always...very well written...looking forward for the next update...

Chapter 28: this is chap is really nice...well, at least they are okay with each other and really acting like they are a married couple...i mean those little things you do in the house...and how they interact with each other...

i just hope everything turns out okay...i mean at kookie's grandmother's birthday party...

i'm sure they are fully aware that kookie and taetae are married since that is the purpose of their marriage, to have the upper hand and to make sure that kookie's position is secured (business wise) and to make sure that kookie is okay as well...(that he is not going to be put in danger, because someone is looking after him, someone whom they could trust)

but both kookie and taetae have feelings for each other...they just couldn't really show it, specially taetae because it looks like that tae still has a lot of hung ups and just couldn't open up that much to kookie...i am still waiting for the day that taetae really opens up to kookie...i know that taetae has already said a lot to kookie and revealed a lot to him as well..but i want him to really open up and show kookie everything...share his whole life with him, be at ease and show kookie what and who he really is and what and who he is not...

anyway, nice chap...i got a glimpse of taetae's parents arguments and kookie's parents grand return and how they really love each other...:)

looking forward for the next update...:)
